Penelope Designs

Alma, Angel and team did a great job! We had them do our wedding in April in Pasadena. If any criticism, communication and setting clearer expectations could have been better but at the end of the day, the wedding was beautiful!

Delivered product was much different than what was discussed and purchased.
Centerpieces were supposed to be a 6″ square glass base with 9 roses, 5 hydrangeas, and leaves. The day of, they made arrangements of 6 – 7 roses and 3 hydrangeas. Not to mention they were droopy.
The stage décor was nowhere near what was discussed. They used the wrong flowers and not nearly enough greenery+flowers. We had agreed on 1.5ft (18inches) of greenery, roses, and babys breath along the top horizontal frame and thin vines of greenery along the left and right vertical frame. What we got was 8inches of greenery and tulips along the top frame and white cloth covering the left and right vertical poles.
Came late, finished (the wrong work/​pieces) on time. Demanded second half of cost before they even began working (at the event).
One star because they showed up, at least. Overall would definitely NOT recommend going with them. Just pitch in some extra money and go elsewhere, like Kimberly’s Flowers on Pico.

I had the honor to work with Penelope designs this past weekend on 9÷14÷13. I must say Alma along with all her team are very professional and they deliver as promise. Everything was perfect my daughters quinceañera was beautiful, everyone of my guests was greeted and was given 110% respect and attention. Penelope designs will make your dream event come true without having to spend a million bucks! Thank you so much!!!

We hired Penelope Design for my 15 and it was a beautifull reception. The centerpieces were beautiful. We got the italian food, everyone enjoyed it and said it was delicious. I highly recommend Penelope Design for your next event!
