Came down with a very bad stomach issue one morning at work and my colleague saved me by recommending me to Dr. Chu. Since i don’t have a regular doc that I see, I tried calling around and the earliest any clinic will see me is two days later (others average 1 wk for a new patient).
First star earned when I called Dr. Chu’s office to find out that it is at a walk in system where an appointment is not needed AND it’s open everyday except Wed. What a wonderful idea since apparently, viruses and stomach bugs usually don’t give me the heads up either! I was given heads up that there will be a wait but hey, however long the wait will be, I’ll still get this taken care of in the same day!
Second star earned when I was directed to park at the Pacific Alliance Parking Lot, which is literally 20 steps away from the clinic. I’m a walker but when I’m in pain, distance from my car to the clinic’s door matters.
Third star is for the cleanliness and modern feel of the clinic when I walked in. Yes, there are people waiting, mostly a geriatric crowd, but the place is well maintained and plenty of seats for waiting.
After filling out a simple form, I clutched my stomach and prepared myself for the wait.
I don’t know how they did it but less than 35 min later, they got through the roomful of people and called my name. It wasn’t till I walked in that I realized aside from Dr. Chu, there was also a nurse practitioner names Anna who sees patients and thus the amount of people waiting was able to get in and out relatively quickly.
The final two stars: the very positive attitude of Dr. Chu and staff (which I definitely needed in my time of agony), the efficiency of which they work through their patients, AND. The wonder drug they prescribed me that cured my symptoms in 24 hours!
I realized this clinic runs like an urgent care center but with much more warmth and a lot less waiting time. Thus if you need a doctor you can talk to for half an hour about your life, this is not the clinic for you. But if you need your medical problems addressed immediately, Dr Chu is definitely the one to go to.

horrible Service, definately would not reccoment this place, if you are not asian, expect to wait a loooooooong time.

Received new coverage LA Care and they assigned me Dr. Chu. I called to make an appointment and its walk-​in only. (RED FLAG FOR LONG WAITS).
So I walked in and they told me they aren’t accepting new patients and turned me away.
