The pizza is a hit every time we come to the farmers market. My kids know we are eating pizza when we come. The crust is thin(I love thin crust) and fresh. It’s usually packed here, you might have to wait for a table to open up. Other than that I highly recommend this place of your in the mood for eating pizza. One of the best pizzas around!!!

I tried 3 different slices of pizza. Pepperoni and cheese, plain cheese, and spinach and bacon with cheese. The pizza slices were large and decent price. Under $ 4 bucks. The slices were thin. The best of the 3 was simply the pepperoni and cheese even though it was super greasy… The taste was decent but nothing I’d crave in the future.

Great Tasting Pizza. The service was great too. My favorite part was the price. Wow. I recommended ordering a fresh baked pizza rather than by the slice. The crust seems to get cold fast therefore I doubt the pizza under the lamp taste as good.

Pizza was damn good but seriously no ice water? And 3 bones for a small soft drink can. This is a big reason i hate the Grove.

Decided to check it out after we saw it on eye on la. The pizza was oily and just ok.

Very mediocre below average pizza. The slices sit under a heat lamp like Sbarro does. I recommend going to Deano’s, Blaze, or one of a few around the corner.

New York style pizza with a thin and crispy crust and plenty of grease. The pizza sauce is flavorful and not too overpowering. For the price, I expected way more toppings. Just a plain pepperoni pizza was pretty sparse, which was especially disappointing since the pepperoni is great!

We ordered pasta … 45 mins later our order still wasn’t out. When asked about it she said she forgot because she was doing other stuff .what service

Every time we are at the farmers market, my husband love to eat a slice of NY Pizza. This time he ordered the pepperoni one. This place has been around for 75 years as you can see from their new display. Their pizza is a bomb!

We ordered a slice of pep pizza from a joint that boasts that«ol’ blue eyes» used to eat there. The crust was nice and crispy, fresh and homemade. The sauce was boss and the pepperoni tasted fresh… not frozen. We only ordered once slice so I can’t vouch for this place when it comes to other foods, but, the pizza was very good and I’d order it again.

Ordered the spaghetti w/meat sauce and the boyfriend ordered the chicken parmigiana. I asked for extra sauce on mine because I don’t like my pasta dry. Upon the first bite, it was very bland song there was barely any meat. After mixing the sauce, it ended up being runny. Boyfriend said his tasted ok and chicken parmigiana was better than the pasta, but then again, he was starving. After 3 bites, I couldn’t eat it anymore. I took my plate up to the counter and asked if it was marinara because there was barely any meat. I love bolognese and meat sauce and this was the worst I had. The Hispanic female employee and what seemed like the owner or manager who was a bit older female, did not apologize and was in fact pretty rude. I asked to switch it out to lasagna. Look people, without customer satisfaction, you’re out of business. You should put that into consideration before being snappy to your customer.

Went to the farmer’s market later in the night at the Grove. We decided to try the pizza at this small shop. The servers were very kind and prompt in obtaining our orders. We ordered a 16″ pizza that had mushrooms and pepperoni for about $ 22. The pizza was decently sized for the price. The pizza tasted great with a good amount of mushroom and sausage toppings. I also like how instead of using sausage crumbled, they use thick sausage slices. Overall the pizza was pretty good, but the price is a little on the pricier side.

Being from the East Coast, I for a long time haven’t found home as far as finding the right pizza place to eat… Now, I’ve been a customer at Patsy D’Amore for quite sometime now and this is by far the closest taste of excellent East Coast NY Style Pizza with a little bit of grease, thin crust and the right amount of tomato sauce and cheese… Just perfect!!!

I am not sure what has happened to the various institutions at Farmers Market. Byan’s, was terrible, Phil’s ordinary and now Patsy’s.See my reviews on the other two. The pizza here was an institution. Frank Sinatra stopped by from time to time and Patsy brought the«slice«to the west coast. The pizza remains a four star, although both Vitos and Patsy’s nephew Joey» Damore’s Pizza“‘ is far better. The pasta is almost a zero. i ordered penne. The kid grabbed a container from the fridge, put it in some water for a few minutes and served it with runny meat sauce, and a cold sausage. Frankly spaghetti o’s would have been a better choice, or if i’d only moved my butt across the street to Andre’s good pasta would have awaited me. The Gilmore used to boast of all first class stands. not so now. Sure there is McGee’s Pampas, Monsieur Marcel and Charlies. but as a rule the stands at the market are below average. Gilmore’s get your act together

N.Y. style pizza, dripping with grease. The cheese was good, but the pepperoni wasn’t very pronounced. Nice old school style. It’s not bad but nothing to gush over either. I’d definitely eat here again but wouldn’t go out of my way.

This historical pizza stop was favorited by none other than Frank Sinatra himself. I’m a Sinatra fan and a pizza fan so it sits well with me! The pizza is very cheesy and very NY style. It comes out hot and steamy so be careful when you take the first bite. The crust is crisp and firm but might not be enough to support all the cheese on top so watch for the gooey cheese when you pull your slice from the pie! Now all of you who have been at the Grove & Farmer’s Market know that it’s busier than Grand Central Station(that’s NY talk for really really crowded). Seating is a premium so don’t try to get something right in front of the place, go upstairs and you will find plenty of seating. And another thing, slices don’t usually sit well unless a pie is coming right out of the oven and it’s intended for slices. I suggest going there with a couple of friends and ordering a whole pie because it will taste the way a pizza should taste-fresh! You should try a plain cheese pizza first to understand the love that we New Yorkers have for pizza. After you try a cheese pie, then you can order another one and ruin it with all the junk that Californians like to pollute their pizzas with. Enjoy!

Patsy you suck! Small ass slice of pizza with no taste and to top it off with shitty service. If you don’t like what you do, which I don’t blame you, than get another job! With all the great places to eat at farmers market, it’s just not worth it.

4 stars for the pizza, came out fresh and piping hot and the cheese was all gooey and melty. Thin crust, very tasty. However, 1 star, if not 0 stars, for the disgusting pasta. We also ordered half ravioli half spaghetti, and it was pretty bad. Hubby pointed out that I could make better pasta in my sleep. The noodles were all soggy, ravioli cold and hard, and the sauce dumped over the top was mediocre at best. No wonder no one orders the pasta here, I was expecting some oven-baked goodness, but nope. Pretty gross and disappointing. $ 10 minimum for credit cards.
