Papa John’s Pizza

Rude delivery drivers. The worst I have ever experienced. I have provided them access to my building, instructions on where to park and still they refuse to deliver to my apartment door. On top of that poor customer service and impolite individuals. This location puts Papa Johns to shame.

When I was growing up, Anytime you ordered pizza, it was standard practice that the pizza delivery guy would walk right to your doorstep and deliver your Pizza, which would merit a tip.
Each time I order from this place, the deliver guy will call my cell phone and say, «Hey I’m from Papa Johns Pizza, I’m outside.»
Are you kidding me?! Is that the new thing these days? Have the customer walk out to the street and pick up his own pizza while the delivery guy waits in his car?! Called and complained to the The manager, and they won’t do anything about it either.
You just lost a customer. I’m Never ordering from this place again!

Today on Christmas Day at 6:30. We came to pick up some pizza, they said it would have been ready in 20 min. When we arrived in 25 min so they could have time. It took an extra 30 min to receive our order. So it basically it took about an hour to get our order. Very slow service.

Here is how you disappoint without even getting customer to taste food. I checked their site and it says closes at 1am. I’m like great because I wanted pizza.
I drive to location and the door is closed, but people inside. There was another customer there outside as well.
I said I checked the site and it says 1am just like what’s on the door.
I called number and they said they close the lobby at 12 and you can get delivery until 1am. I’m like I’m outside, why would I order delivery?
That should be placed on their Unilocal profile and website. I wish I called before I left.

By far the worst papa johns I’ve ever gotten delivery from.
Ordered a Hawaiian and a supreme and some chicken wings with blue cheese sauce. Ordered it online so there wouldn’t be any confusion.
Order arrives, I tip the guy, come in and open the boxes to find… 2 supreme pizzas with the toppings barely holding on and a quart of oil on top of each slice.
And the wings come with 2 ranches instead of the blue cheese even though the damn sticker label on the box says blue cheese…

I always order pizza from papa johns. This location and this manager have horrible disgraceful customer service. The manager Steven is a bad manager and doesn’t know how to deal with customers.
My friends and I ordered a pizza before 10pm on a Saturday night and it is currently 11pm and our pizza is still not here for delivery. I had called the manager of the location and he told me they have no source of internal control for anything. When I asked him where our pizza was he said it should be there within the next 5 min which was a total LIE because those 5 min have passed and he is still not here.
More than 10min have passed now and the pizza is still not here. When I called back the 2^nd time I asked Steven, the manager, where our pizza is he said it should be there which again is a LIE because the pizza is still not here. He told me that I should just complain to the cooperate office and then proceeded to hang up.
If you order pizza here, do not expect your pizza to be delivered in the expected 45min and expect it to take at least 1 hour and 10min or more cause the pizza is still not here!!!
Ok so pizza just got here. Over 1hour 10min later. And the cake topper is… THE PIZZA IS COLD.
After being delivered a cold pizza I called Steven back and he didn’t even apologize. All he said is that his place was just busy but again no apology.
Regardless, No excuses for a cold, overly late delivered pizza.

I bought a high school fund raiser card from a high school student who goes to Crenshaw high school and it clearly says on the card «free pizza w/​pur of the same @ reg menu price.» Well I went to this papa johns and ordered a pepperoni and pineapple pizza. They told me that you actually don’t get another pizza of the same which you paid for at regular menu price, for free. They said that you only can get a cheese pizza of the same size of the pizza that you paid for. I feel like this papa johns did not properly honor this high schools fund raiser card that I bought. I feel like they should have honored the cold hard facts that I presented to them with this card and at least told me that if I come back with that same card in the future, that it will only be eligible for a free cheese pizza of the same size of what ever pizza I buy at regular menu price. I also feel like there is some false advertisement going on because I would have never bought the fundraiser card had I known that it’s only eligible for a free cheese pizza regardless of what I actually buy. I posted a picture of the card that I am talking about.

This place closes at 1A. M, it even says in the store hours. There was a nice man that said they were going to close in 5 minutes, but that they were able to do it. He was so nice! The guy inside automatically shut us down. so rude. If the place ain’t going to open until the store hours has, then don’t have it written on the DOOR!!!

I love this pizza and all the time good service all the time my pizza is hot and boom taste

I was just told that I had to go downstairs and go outside to the delivery guy to get my order because, and I quote the effing moron I just spoke with, «He’s not allowed to go upstairs.»
What? Since when are delivery drivers not allowed to go to the person who ordered… Isn’t that the point of delivery service? Pretty sure they were allowed to come right to our door the last time we ordered. I get downstairs and find out the driver just didn’t want to leave his car…
Won’t have to worry about that issue again… Plenty of local pizza places to order from from here on out…

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Do not order online, as they will mess your order up and have you waiting over an hour for your pizza only to have it never arrive.
Manager has NO customer service skills whatsoever.
Last time I will ever order from this store.

Came here tonight horrible customer service cashier tried to be a smart ass. At least the pizza was delicious that’s the only reason they got 2 stars!

I ordered 2 pizzas online, only because I was given the option to choose the time they would be delivered. I happened to have a meeting at a hotel, so I ordered them on my way to the hotel. I ordered the pizzas so that they would arrive at 6:45PM., I got to the hotel and was working on some stuff in the Lobby, and I get a call at 6:11, it is the delivery guy bringing 2 pizzas.
I am flabbergasted at the fact that this guy is 34 minutes early, when it was clearly stated in the website that the pizzas would be delivered when they promised.
I just took them. but I will never ever again will order from this location.
For the record, I dont really care if your system integration does not show the time I asked for the pizzas to be delivered. Had I not seen that «future delivery» option on the website, I would have done the timing myself.
Great way to overpromise and completely fail to deliver on a service that I was not expecting, and have learned to not use ever again. I have not tried the pizza, but then again, I cant start eating by myself, and as hungry (or hangry) as I am I will now be having cold pizza. Thank you Papa Johns this reflects terribly on your brand and I will be an evangelist telling everyone I know about this experience.

Horrible service. I needed 30 pizzas delivered at 11am for a hospital party. I called the night before and placed the order. Then called at 10am to confirm. At 11:10– still no pizzas. Juan Mendez the manager tried to tell me someone said 11:30 am delivery was ok. Complete lie. Now ¹⁄₃ of the operating room won’t get to eat because the pizzas were late. Horrible. Liars. Ruined the day. Completely incompetent.

I had gotton cold pizza last time. Took over an hour to receive my pizza. But since i like papa John’s pizza i ordered again but once again over an hour… i like cold pizza but only when it’s left over!

Horrible service at this location. Got our order wrong; we had ordered three toppings on each side, one with meat and one without, since I am a vegetarian. Not only did they get the meat wrong (salami when we ordered beef) they put salami AND roast beef on 80
% of the pizza, not 50%. I was planning on eating more than two slices, so that sucked.
The place averages three stars for a reason. Steer clear.

I found thick short black hair in my pizza today… it was a delivery and I paid with cash and tips… and I contact the store and talk to the manager but I’ve got bad customer service ever in my life… so I had to contact to the company to complain. I hope they will contact me as asap. They didn’t even apologize.

Always have had a pleasant experience with this location in both carryout and delivery (I live in the hood too).
They have always been on time and when it comes too carryout maybe even a lil earlier. The employees have been just as pleasant as well.
Only pizza place that delivers too me that i thoroughly enjoy ordering from.

Always on time, there are the only pizza company I know off delivers within less than 30 minutes. My boys love there pizza and bacon cheese sticks.
I Recommend.

I’m surprised this Papa Johns has such low reviews. I am a huge fan of the pizzas and have never had issues with delivery or service. I mean, it’s a fast food pizza joint so I really don’t expect too much from it.
I think they have great deals that make it affordable to starving college students. I also think it tastes great and their garlic sauce is crack.
