I’m a big fan of this place. It’s probably in the same price tier and variety as a Denny’s or an IHOP, but it’s LIGHTYEARS better. The food is great for what it is, and the staff are all super friendly. Expect a pretty long wait time for Saturday or Sunday brunch, but if you’re in no great hurry, it’s well worth it.

I live right next to this place and enjoy walking here for brunch, especially on Sundays when they offer BOTTOMLESS mimosas for only $ 6!!! It’s insane. There’s usually a line out the door for Sunday brunch, but it’s always been worth it. The service is attentive and the food is pretty good. I always enjoy the homemade buttermilk biscuits. I need to get over there to try the famous fried chicken for dinner one night!

Local favorite of mine. Usually not crowded and prices and portions are good. Good alternative to Denny’s or IHOP but not open 24⁄7. Restaurant theme is like olé’ 50’s diner along with the music variety.(reminds me a lot like Rocky Cola Restaurant) The place is spic and span as well as the staff. Staff is ever so kind and has good customer awareness. Won’t be disappointed I assure you!

My grandpa used to take me here every weekend as a child . I’ve been obsessed ever since . Chicken and waffles here surpass ANYOTHERIVETRIED. Other chicken and waffles are SO overrated, but Panns? Never. I’m obsessed lol

I agree that the fried chicken is great! We stopped here to avoid traffic after landing at LAX on a Friday at rush hour. I ordered the fried chicken breast and wing and my wife had the trout. The fried chicken is as good as advertised. The mashed potatoes were house made and also great. My wife liked the trout but said it had too many bones. She didn’t like her baked potato. Of the LA restaurant institutions we have tried this is hands down the best.

My husband needed some brake work done on his car, so we decided to try a highly recommended garage in Inglewood. Since we had an appointment at 8:30AM, we figured we would go to Pann’s beforehand(since it was on the way). We arrived at 7:30 and it was fairly empty, also parking was great at this time. On my last trip, I arrived at noon on a Saturday after picking up an out of town friend at LAX. There was no parking that time, so we walked over from the grocery store lot. Service was quick and efficient. Our food was very fresh and tasty. Another yummy trip to Pann’s! The restaurant was starting to fill up when we left at 8:15AM. I love this place, but I wouldn’t want to wait for a table to go here. I recommend going early!

I always have a good time at Pann’s. Of course, I get amazing service here. The waitresses dote on me because I’m an adorable baby and a regular. I get complimentary crackers as soon as i sit down, and no one ever puts a hot plate or cup of liquid down within my reach. The coloring pages are fun and I often also get a bowl of banana slices from the owner. I got ice cream for my birthday as well. I get a lot of admiring looks from the clientele who appreciate a friendly baby and see lots of other kids out with their parents amidst young folks and people of all stripes. I enjoy their pancakes more than any pancakes in town. And I have eaten pancakes all over this town. You may have to wait to be seated, especially if you come on a Sunday, but you can enjoy the parade of church fashions while you wait, and you’ll never be rushed out the door. If you’re an adult, it’s a great place to linger over conversation and enjoy a traditional American breakfast and coffee. For kids, it’s nice to have staff that understand us and don’t make it harder to have a date night with the fam. Dad says best chicken and waffles in LA and I believe it since at least half the people in there are eating it every time we go in. But Dad also says they have the best biscuits in the world which must be true because he orders them every time we come in. Drawback: They do not have a changing table. My dad has to take me out to the car to change me and that sucks when it’s cold or rainy out.

This place is nice. We got the breakfast special with eggs and bacon, I got hashbrowns and avocado and my girl got half a waffle. The waffle was crispy and very good, but the eggs were a little runny than I would have liked, although I got them over easy, the white part was still clear and watery. The coffee is excellent and the potatoes were delicious as well. This is a great place to come if you’re waiting for a flight or if you just want good food for a good price.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years. We moved away from the area, however when we have a chance still come eat here. Service is usually solid, but today I must say, red hair Melonie was AMAZING! She was not our actual server, however made sure we were taken care of, and made our visit welcoming. Next, our food was great. I had fried catfish and grits, cajun chicken sausage was really good, cheesy eggs were good, waffles also. No I did not order all of that, haha… we shared. The fried chicken was a bit dry today, but I will give it 5 because I’m hoping this was a fluke. It’s usually good. Some of the other hostesses could take a lesson from Melonie, and her great service, but today was really busy so again will give them a pass. Parking is limited and at busy times just prepare to park across the street. This is a nice family restaurant, with reasonable prices.

I. Love. Pann’s!!! My brother told me about this diner and how he would pass this by as a kid on the way to the airport. He finally checked it out and couldn’t stop praising it so I just had to try it. It’s such a cool little diner with awesome red upholstered booths. I’ve tried a bunch of dishes and will usually rotate what I order but I need to get a plate of chicken wings every time! And dare I say the chicken and waffles might be better than Roscoe’s!!! The only downside is the horribly small parking lot. I think the only way they can fix the situation(aside from buying he next business over to get more parking…) is to set up some valet service. Aside from the horrid parking situation, I will recommend Pann’s for brunch and/or breakfast to anyone!

I’ve been driving by Pann’s on my way to the airport for over 20 years. Finally, I decided to give it a try and was very glad I did. I was warmly and politely greeted by the hostess who was extremely professional. A real touch of class for a diner type of establishment. They serve breakfast all day, and they also have burgers, salads and sandwiches. My friend opted for the burger. It was top quality. I was really surprised with how good it looked. Hand made, I could tell it didn’t start out as a frozen patty. My friend said it was excellent, and cooked just right. His order came with onion rings. I had to try one. It was off the chart good! If you like onion rings, you must try them at Pann’s. They can’t be beat. I went for the chicken wings and waffles. The chicken wings were terrific. They are meaty. They even have a little breast meat on them. Gotta’ love that! The waffle was nice and light. Top notch. The tab for the burger, four chicken wings and waffle, and a bottomless cup of coffee was a little over $ 27. Not cheap for a diner, but you get what you pay for. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jim Panagopolous. Great guy, who is very proud of his restaurant. He told me about the quality of the chicken wings and beef he gets for the burgers and wings. He definitely gets the good stuff! His parents opened it up back in 1958, and Pann’s has been going strong ever since as it well should be. I’m going back and trying that burger, that’s for sure. There’s ample free parking in the back, so be sure and give Pann’s a try sometime.

Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food my friends ordered. My opinion on one dish: I ordered the crab and crawfish omelet. It tasted like swamp! Way too fishy for me However, I loved their Belgian waffles and wings. They are generous with the bottomless mimosas. Mostly champaign in those glasses. The fruit is fresh. The meat truck that was delivering a shipment of chicken stated«all natural no antibiotics» so that’s nice to know ! I would def come back for some brunch. Would just stay away from that omelet.

Tonight was a perfect experience at this friendly and delicious restaurant! The selections are quite vast at this diner-style restaurant complete with comforting dishes and amazing fried chicken! But really the main reason why I am taking time to write this is because Nicole, our server, was so patient with us deciding what to order. She was attentive and friendly and really a pleasure to have take care of me and my family! The environment is casual so it’s laid-back and delightful! Thank you again Nicole for your wonderful service!!! I will definitely return soon!!!

You will be so proud of your planning skills when you realize that LAX is here, rental cars are there, and Pann’s is 7 minutes of it all. I like to order fried chicken in whatever state I’m in. Being from the South, I like to think I know what good fried chicken is. In NYC, they did it right. At Pann’s, they claim to have the best fried chicken in all of LA. I don’t know man… It IS good, don’t get me wrong, but it’s like… skinless fried chicken? The crunch is gone. That’s it. It’s just fried chicken with no skin… so the chicken itself is brown. Very strange. The potatoes were great. The mac and cheese is good too. The staff is mucho friendly! I wanted to take in some mid-century architecture and some website led me to Pann’s and a litte Unilocaling led me to it’s a branch of the Pulp Fiction location. So, all that is good fun to see. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with the plants. While you’re there you can imagine Honey Bunny having a fit and Vincent’s ponytail in one of the booths(even if it’s not the exact place).

I love those spots that are obviously everyone’s «spot.» Pann’s is the kind of place that is obviously everyone’s «after church breakfast place.» I have been here twice before, once for lunch and the other for breakfast. I went here for the first time for lunch on a Saturday when they were offering bottomless bloody mary’s. The Bloody Mary’s were a bit watery but a couple of those will get your buzz going. I ordered a club sandwich which was really tasty but also well put together and it did not fall apart in my hands. The fries were skinny and delicious, and you know how I love skinny fries! I stopped here on a sunday morning with my family. They had been helping me all weekend with moving into the area and wanted to have a a celebratory breakfast before they left. The place was busy and and full of regulars. We sat and watched family stroll in dressed in their Sunday best, little ladies wearing pristine church hats and little kids dressed like little adults. I ordered the cajun sausage breakfast with hash browns and over easy eggs. The sausage was spicy but full of flavor. Not greasy or overly fatty, but just enough to give it some flavor. My mom ordered the same thing and really loved it. My father ordered the chicken fried steak, runny egg, and gravy. He said it was the best he had ever had. Not soggy or dry. Juicy and full of flavor. I would definitely come back. This place is a classic diner with a soul food, comfort food twist. I could bring a friend here for drinks, get work done with ever flowing coffee, or come get some late night grub. Love me some Pann’s!

I’ve never had fried chicken and waffles before and my friend told me that this place has the best chicken and waffles so I decided to try it out. We went around 11 on a Saturday and the place was packed. There weren’t even any spots in the parking lot. I decided to order their ½ waffle with chicken wings. There are things to substitute for the chicken wings and it also comes with 2 eggs. My friend wasn’t very hungry so she just ordered a biscuit. The food came super fast after we ordered. We sat at the counter so there was always someone there if we needed anything. The biscuit was big and came with whipped butter. It was very soft and flaky… quite good. The waffle was amazing. It was really light and fluffy. It came with melted butter and syrup. The wings were also amazing. Eating everything together was delicious. The eggs were also cooked perfectly. It was a very good meal with large portions and good price. All of the wait staff were also very friendly when it came to finding us a seat and serving us.

This was my first meal on my trip to California. After picking up the rental car, I Unilocaled the nearest breakfast spot and Pann’s showed up. Turn’s out, Pann’s is the diner from Pulp Fiction. The table from the movie is towards the left of the entrance. The parking lot is really small, I ended up parking across the street at the risk of being towed. It was packed for a Monday too, ended up waiting 20 minutes. Service was OK, not terrible or great. I had the fried chicken breast and eggs. It was alright. The chicken breast wasn’t even breaded or anything, literally just fried. The biscuit it came with was super dense and filling, so it was good. Took a picture from the movie scene too.

Dear Pann’s, You are the probably the longest relationship I have had since moving to L.A. Ever since we met, I have been in love. You are attractive, you have so many delicious offerings, you have the sweetest staff, and although you aren’t always open when I want you to be, you have been my rock. In our time together, you have shown me that a boyfriend who doesn’t like milkshakes isn’t one to be trusted(don’t worry, he’s long gone). You’ve shown me that Roscoe’s is simply a landmark in aiding to give directions to your succulent fried chicken and waffles. That architecture was, in fact, still good before the 70s. That customer service isn’t dead. That Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the fixings CAN and should be served 365 days a year. That onion rings are not only delicious, but an art form on the canvas which you call a plate. That not being religious was actually a pretty good decision, because I always miss the Sunday crowds(no offense, Jesus, you sound like a great guy). Look, what I’m trying to say is, that with your incredible food at fair prices, topped with good ol’ fashioned customer service and a Googie look that just can’t be replicated… you’re the only diner for me. So, Pann’s, thanks for being you. Here’s to hoping this relationship will never end.
