Order the chicken kebab plate. Absolutely delicious! I love how they add onions. Perfect addition with the chicken. Rice was good. Salad was yummy(several options. Greek, romaine avocado and caesar). I haven’t tried the caesar but caesar salad tastes the same everywhere. The romaine avocado salad was disappointing(especially because I love avocados). The greek salad was on point. Yum! I would definitely order the chicken kebab plate again. I’m curious how the filet mignon kebab plate tastes like but the price seems too extreme. Oh and I tried the salmon wrap. It was. Disappointing. The flavors was good but the salmon, vegetables and sauce didn’t work well with the wrap style. I would have preferred salmon with sauce and perhaps a salad on the side or something. I wouldn’t order that item again.

Mediocre chicken kebabs. I asked for more vegetables in lieu of the rice and they threw in almost nothing extra. The greek salad was forgettable. Won’t be coming back.

Very, very good Persian food here! The koobideh and chicken Kabob are excellent, the humus trio appetizer is my go to and it’s excellent as well. Both the Beverly Hills and West Hollywood locations’ food is equally good, so whatever location you choose it will be good!

I loved my meal here recently. I went in with low expectations as I disliked my first Panini Café experience downtown. At this location, it was much cleaner with excellent service and tasty food. I had the skirt steak kebab platter with the avocado salad. It was devious and I’d highly recommend it again! Only mistake is that I asked for the bulgar pilaf and was brought the standard rice but I really didn’t care. My wife and a guest shared the chicken kebab and they also loved it. My wife is obsessed with their chicken soup too. I definitely loved my first experience at this location and am glad I gave the chain a second shot.

Ew, raw! Imagine my surprise when cutting into my pieces of chicken kabob, ordered delivery via . Thankfully the restaurant refunded the cost of the kabob part of the order, but still, please be careful with this place — always check before eating the chicken. I’m still cringing a bit from the experience.(And I hope the one bite I did take before this discovery was actually cooked.)

One of us ordered the romaine chicken salad, one the chicken pesto panini(more like a sandwich), and I got the chicken Brie panini(also more like a sandwich). They swapped our sandwiches up upon delivery so we each got the wrong sandwiches. The chicken in all 3 meals was the same dry poultry. The soup was good though.

Both of us had chicken kabob and it was great. The chicken was tasty, the rice just right and the grilled vegetables delicious. Large portion, took some home for another meal. The room is very pleasant, comfortable, tables spaced out so you are not forced to listen to your neighboughrs conversation. Outside seating but the traffic at that corner is too loud. Too bad it’s a very nice outdoor area. Definetly going back.

My friend described this place as «the best chicken in Los Angeles» and though I wouldn’t agree with that statement, I do have to say Panini café does indeed produce tasty, Mediterranean food in the Los Angeles area. I came here for lunch and ordered the Chicken Shish Kabob and shared the humus plate as a starter. I have absolute no complaints about either dish. The variety of humus was delicious — I just wish they gave more pita bread! The chicken kabob was indeed delicious and juicy. It also came with a salad and rice. The portions are quite big, making the prices reasonable. It is curious that it is called the panini café though.

Been coming here for years. Best chicken kabab on the planet. They sold it for a discount for a few years. Now it’s back to normal price, which is okay because I am addicted. When you have such awesome food, price is no issue… seriously.

I’ve always gone to the location in Beverly Hills but just recently found this location. And I’m happy to report its just as fantastic as the one I’m used to going to! I’ve been here twice and found this location to be a little less busy than Beverly Hills and that’s a nice change. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I’m always seated and taken care of quickly. All the food here is very fresh, and all their meet is antibiotic free and of very high quality. And you can taste the quality when you eat your meal. Parking can be a little tough here. Thankfully there is a friendly valet out front if you dont feel like looking for parking.

I wish there was a 0 star because that is more fitting for my experience. I ordered for delivery over the phone and was helped by the manager. I work about 5 min away from the restaurant and gave him clear directions on my address, cross street, name of the store ect. The driver calls me an hour later lost on the other side of the city. When the food was finally delivered the bread on the sandwich was soggy, my kabob plate was cold and the salad was NOTEVEN there. When I called to tell him about my experience, the manager said that he didn’t believe that the salad was missing. As a previous restaurant manager I really question what $ 20 dollars means to them when they just made a frequent customer who recommends their restaurants to many people very disappointed. I LOVE this place! Best Mediterranean food at a great price. You get a lot of good for your money and it’s delicious! Quality is great, the service is always exceptional, and I love the kabobs. All the kabobs are fantastic, I promise I’ve had them all. They do a nice breakfast too! I’ve never been dissatisfied with anything on the menu, everything on here is going to be yummy. I’ve taken a lot of friends here and everyone always ends up being impressed, even my Greek boyfriend. When I order togo the service is phenomenal. The guys go over the whole order with me before I leave to make sure they didn’t forget any sauces or sides. They make it quick and are very friendly and polite. Excellent customer service… Bravo! I have no complaints aside from the parking situation, which in this area is normal. Just be prepared to valet or park a couple blocks away :)

Live in the neighborhood and decided to swing by. To be honest, compared to the other restaurants on 3rd, was a little underwhelmed by everything. Panini Café is having an identity crisis — they’re known for kebabs and Greek entrees, not paninis… AMBIANCE — nice outdoor patio. Inside is covered with old pictures or something? SERVICE — 5/5, people were really nice. CAESARSALAD W/SALMON — a basic Caesar with a salmon filet on top. Nothing fancy. Portions are massive! So order wisely. TUNAMELT — Roommate got it and said it had a lot going on. Too much dressing but hey, can’t hit it out of the ballpark every time. For the price and offering, I recommend trying out other restaurants on 3rd.

Nothing bad to say about this place. I did not know what to order. Ordered combo chicken and beef kabob and the choice of rice was basmati(their popular rice). Its a must order if you do not know what to order and you like beef and chicken, why not have both? My drink I ordered was cranberry juice. The rice is half yellow half white. The ground beef roll was delicious. The chicken was bigger than I thought for a kabob. It also came with salad, I chose Greek salad that had balsamic. I loved my meal. Also ordered hummus and pita as an appetizer and it was interesting flavours. One was like a veggie hummus, the other was garbanzo beans, and a darker brown was a mystery hummus. Tiramisu for dessert, it was good. Everyone in the table shared, but no one really touch the cream. Co workers told me about this place and it was a good recommendation. Only thing that sounded steep is the price to add a ground beef kabob was like $ 7/$ 8 is what I heard the waitress say. My co worker got the all beef one and everyone in our table said that one looks good too. They all starred because it looks the same but with broccoli and maybe red meat just looks more juicy and appealing than chicken.

The best part of Panini Café is how fresh everything is. You can tell, by texture and presentation and taste, that the food was just prepared for you and wasn’t sitting under a hot plate for x amount of time. The proximity to my house, plus the fact that there is never a wait to get in, makes this an acceptable place to frequent from time to time. Here are the reasons this place is unlikely to get above 3 stars from me: Ambiance. Or rather, the lack thereof. It’s dinner time and the lights are bright, the windows airy, and the mood nonexistent. It feels like a diner. The music playing doesn’t make me feel like I’m in a Mediterranean restaurant – I feel like I’m at the Grove, what with the Frank Sinatra lounge music covers that are being forced upon me. The crowd is mostly families and the 50+. The waiter service is frequent, but silent – not a hint of a rapport being built to amp up the tip. The food. Fresh though it may be, this meal majorly lacked salt and pepper. The dressing on my romaine avocado needed some oomph, the basmati rice was bland, and the charbroiled chicken shish kabob… well, coming from a long line of kabob lovers, let me tell you – it’s necessary to infuse some more flavor into this dish. There’s a hint of spices, but it doesn’t bring out the flavor of the meat, the tomato, or the bell pepper like a sprinkle of salt would have. Needs to marinate more, I suppose. I think that tweak would really help make this a 4-star place. There’s no parking(as usual), but valet is available for the block; there’s street parking if you can find it, and it’s free after 8PM. I can easily walk here from my place, so this isn’t a problem for me – but it could be for you, given how neighboring restaurants hold up the spaces for hours. Alas. I’m definitely going to return here when I get the craving for some charbroiled onions, which were the highlight and best part of my dish. Perhaps next time I’ll have better luck.

My only one complaint is about the slightly undercooked basmati rice that came with my chicken shish kabob platter. I’m not sure if that’s how they normally serve the rice, but both platters we ordered were the same. Now with the only drawback out of the way, on to the positives. The portions they serve are large; well worth the price. Eating here can weigh a little heavy on the wallet, but you won’t be disappointed, at least not with the chicken kabob platter. The kabobs were an arrangement of chicken, green pepper, onion, and tomato. They were grilled, with a nice added char for flavor and texture. The chicken kabobs were moist, tender, and tasty. A fresh Greek salad included in the platter compliments all the flavors so well. Panini café is a cross between an Italian café and a Mediterranean restaurant. The mixture of both cuisines allows for the creation of amazing flavors. This restaurant certainly doesn’t fall short of that assumption. In addition, the staff was attentive and the location was ideal for one of those days you’re in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner in West LA.

Panini Café is a small chain located around the LA area. My friends and I dropped by this place on a Sunday night. We were surprised to see that they place was really empty. However, their prices were affordable and we were looking for a healthy meal. Their Chicken Shish Kabob’s were discounted from $ 12.95 to $ 9.95, which is a steal because of the large portion! It sounded so good that everyone, except one, ordered this dish. I was really happy with this dish. The chicken was juicy and tender. The roasted veggies were sweet and perfectly chard. The salad was lightly seasoned and the rice went perfectly with the dish. My friend ordered one of the panini. She had a great reason… the restaurant is after all named Panini Café. However, it didn’t look like she enjoyed it. The service was good. The waitress dropped by a few types to check on us and refill our waters. Parking at this location is horrible! There’s no private lot so we had to find metered parking. During that time, space was limited. Be careful not to park on the residential streets as they require permits and will tow you. Overall, I really liked my dish and service was great. Parking was horrible. If I’m around the area, I would drop by this place again.
