Seriously the food here is so disgusting. We ordered a large takeout from here for a celebration at work today and it was the biggest mistake ever. Unfortunately someone else put in the order and I had not read the Unilocal reviews before eating it. The meat didn’t even look like it was cooked. I had a small portion and had to throw the Rest away. It’s been 5 hours and 10 cups of water and green tea and I still feel gross. Waiting to go home and throw up. Do yourselves a favor and don’t eat here. Pay a little more and eat at a decent Chinese food restaurant. It’s not worth the stomach ache. PS… I would give it 0 stars of possible.

I walked in to get my dinner and there was no one in the front. There was a couple siting at the tables and another man eating alone near the back. I was waiting at the entrance when the man sitting in the back told someone that I was waiting to be attended. I was attended right away, but to be honest I was ready to walk out. There was about 6 empty trays and about half of them with food. The food seemed very dry and old. I decided to give it a try anyways. I ordered the broccoli beef, orange chicken, rice and chow mien. I asked to try the kung pao chicken. He look annoyed and started looking for a toothpick. Then he seriously got a crumb of the chicken instead of giving me any piece of chicken. He couldn’t even pick it up with the toothpick. When I tried it I was grateful he didn’t give me a bigger piece. It was so stale and gross. I chewed it in front of him, but I hate being rude. I told him to leave the plate how it was. I still had the chicken in my mouth and I walked out to spit it out where he wasn’t able to see me. It was so nasty I couldn’t take the taste out of my mouth. My husband was with me and I didn’t know how to tell him that the food was nasty. My husband ordered rice, chow mien, pork and orange chicken. When we were ready to pay I took out my card and he said CASHONLY. This would usually make me pissed, but I was actually relieved! There was the perfect excuse just to leave the food behind. My husband checked his wallet and he had $ 7. One plate was about $ 6.50. He told me he would buy mine and he’ll buy something else. HA! Yea right. I insisted to get his plate instead. He finally agreed when I said we would just share. When we walked out of there I told him everything. He told me why would I let him buy it then. I said I didn’t want to be mean! He couldn’t wait to check out his food that he opened the container and tried the orange chicken. It was dry as well and had some crunchy parts. It was gross! He tired the pork and he mentioned it wasn’t as bad. We ended up throwing it away(which by the way I hate doing) and I made dinner when we got home. So disappointed. Especially because I love Chinese food.

I really like this place. My family and I have been coming here for over ten years. Staff is super friendly and aren’t stingy with portions. Staff also talks basic Spanish :) Regarding the food: They have always had fresh broccoli and veggies whenever I’ve been there. I love the egg roles, noodle soup and chowmein. I hardly eat fried rice but my family has never come across maggots in their food. The restaurant has maintained an A on the door for over ten yrs. Must food to try: orange chicken.

The only thing about this place is the orange chicken. Everything else, including the customer service sucks! You get what you pay for.

This place is not the greatest. The food was barely ok. I love eating Chinese food, especially in small little mom and pop places like these, but this one lacked flavor. The chow mein tasted doughy and the the orange chicken was cold in the middle, that leads me to believe that the food wasn’t made fresh. I won’t be giving these guys a second chance, sorry.

AVOID!!! Fried rice had maggots. Ate most of it before realizing it. Never been more disgusted. Broccoli beef tasted old and dry. Still turns my stomach just thinking about it.

Yeah, not sure what’s up with that sign on the window but as far as Chinese food in LA, for me, Panda King gets an A. This is the best orange chicken I’ve had between the five or so places I’ve been to since fall 2010. Cash-only is kind of a drag, but just grab your drink next door or gum for after. The service is nice too! Large order of Orange Chicken for $ 5.25? At panda express that’s like $ 10, go with the king.

When you’re in the mood for some Chinese fast food, this is the place! Get there early if you want the tasty BBQ Chicken, it runs out quick, usually gone after 7pm. The Pork Ribs in Sauce are also mighty tasty and I adore the potatoes with beef;which they only make a few days each week. You can’t go wrong with this spot, We load up on two entrees & one side, 2 eggs rolls, 2 Thai Iced Teas & and extra side to share, all for under 20 bucks! I also recommend the orange chicken, with that extra burst of citrus flavor ;o)

I’d rather spend my money here than at Panda Express. This Chinese fast food restaurant is not the very best but also not the worst. Located next to a Food 4 Less supermarket and other typical strip mall stores, getting in and out can be a challenge, more on that later. When I visit I typically get a combination«B» plate, which consist of steam rice(you may opt for fried), chow mein, and two side dishes; my favorites are the BBQ pork and chicken. They also serve other well known sides but too many too name and I stick to the usual. Also, a favorite when I’m ill I like ordering their Wonton soup. The food is about a three-to-four-star rating for a fast food take-out restaurant, the ambiance is nothing spectacular, park-styled seating for the most part and the place is clean. Parking during peak hours(lunch and dinner time) is hovering at one star. It seems like Food 4 Less is always packed. My suspicion is that all the supermarket employees(and the other store employees) take the prime parking spaces instead of parking farther and customers are left to circle around the parking lot(which isn’t huge). This is in no part something that the restaurant can control but finding parking can be troublesome, and at times I have left the parking lot due to no parking spaces and purchased food elsewhere. In all, Panda King averages out to three stars.
