This is one of the best options for food in the international terminal(which perhaps speaks to the limited options). It has the standard Panda Express fare. Service is fast(and friendly), so even if they usually have a long line, it moves pretty quickly. I found the food to taste as expected and freshly prepared.

If I could get negative stars on this place I would. The location is in the Tom Bradley International airport, and I was so embarrassed and sad on the way I was treated. The staff members were all nice people except this young African American worker who the most rude guy I have ever encountered. He told me I was giving him attitude and started throwing my food around. This guy is a VERY sad face for this brand, and i would not like anyone like that working for me. He made me cry and I had a very long flight ahead of me. Sorry but if you don’t want to deal with attitude then don’t work with people. Simple as that.

I wish they had more options for vegetarians, but generally tasty and inexpensive Asian chain, healthier alternative to other fast food. I like the fact they offer samples before you buy. The portions are generous, so don’t beyond two sides. It was my last days and I wanted to get rid of all the coins I had left. The cashier was really patient with me counting all the bits and accepted the payment even though I was a few cents short.

Orange chicken is unbelievably tough and dry. Not even something that should be served cause it tastes like its been out for over an hour. Also there was no chow mein. Disappointment cause it’s only 9pm and already out of their main menu items. Jonathan was a great and generous server but everyone else was just rude and pushy to the customers. I’m a huge advocate for Panda Express personally cause of their consistency but tonight I was proved wrong. Because the location is inside the airport shouldn’t be an excuse for all of this^

Food is ok but cashier service is bad. Slow and not responsive to queries like asking for an extra plate and for spoons. Even offered to pay for the items but cashier just ignored customers and chat between each other.

Yes, this is not authentic Chinese, but there are times when I want to eat something quick and easy and inexpensive. Panda Express serves up fast food Chinese with decent taste and large portions. This location is located in the LAX Tom Bradley International terminal. The prices here are higher than at the other Panda Express locations, but airport food typically is. Service was quick and efficient.

Long line but it goes by so fast. I ended up getting broccoli beef and chow mein because it seemed semi healthy. I didn’t want something too oily or too spicy right before a 14 hour flight. The cashier asked me if I wanted to try chopsticks, I said it doesn’t matter because I can use chopsticks or a fork, she gave me a fork. I don’t think I look like someone that doesn’t know how to use chopsticks…

This is the slowest Panda Express on the planet. If you want to experience what it’s like to sit on the 405 during rush hour, visit this location. The employees have no sense of urgency — which is incredibly frustrating for people trying to catch a flight. I actually wrote this review after I got my food and waited for the cashier, and my food was like warm by the time I got to eat it.

My first time trying panda express. By far the worst«fast» food place ive been to in america. Had to wait 20 minutes to order and then another 15m to pay. There were maybe only 15 – 20 people in line. Food was decent, nothing special.

Let me start off my saying I use to be an avid Panda Express goer(during college ate it sometimes 2 – 3 times per day). I went so regularly, I know most of the codes they use as meal items… i.e. C1, B1. I went to this Panda at the Tom Bradley Airport trying to exchange a 3-item coupon on the back of a receipt and the manager said, «We’re not a REAL Panda, we’re a franchise Panda, we don’t accept that coupon.» I responded, «then why do you print the coupon on the back of your receipts?» They responded, «Because we’re panda.» Does that make sense to anyone else? Well, this was the biggest bull I’d ever heard. I have never had such a poor experience at Panda Express. This has put such a bad taste in my mouth that I have not eaten Panda Express since. BTW this incident happened in December when I was on my way out of the country. This gives you a picture of how bad this experience was. Eat somewhere else.

Before you start reading, know that I am an airport employee and frequent this place regardless of this sub-par rating. I do so because they can be hit or miss but where they win me over is with the fact that they offer employee discounts. My mind gets blown every time I see asians standing in line here especially when they are minutes away from boarding their flights to Asia to have the real thing. Perhaps they like a good last laugh at Americanized chinese/asian cuisine? I dunno… This place is no different than any mall Panda. Like those however, the one thing they have going for them, is they are quick. Even with a full line, you’ll be in-and-out within 5 minutes or less and you’ll have a filling, if not, satisfying meal.

Pros: — Very friendly staff despite the long line. They even greeted people as they entered the line — price for 2 entrees and a side is reasonable($ 8.95). You can also get a bowl with 1 entrée for $ 7.95 Cons: — Food portion is overwhelming(makes you feel kinda sick if you don’t know how to control portion sizes like me) — had a few missing options in the line so I wish they gave a few more options for entrees

This one’s going to be a quick one! What more can you ask for in a panda express ?! This location is just like a location at the mall, ONLY take out. I came here on a Tuesday around 1:15pm and not busy at all I was the only one in line so my order/take out went by very quick! Keep in mind this location is at an airport, so business and flow of people traffic varies by the hour. I ordered a 2 entre plate and boy are they generous with the servings! Panda express at this terminal is probably the best bargain for the dollar at the airport, which everything else here is HIGHLYOVERPRICED! About $ 8.75 which is only a dollar more than outside the airport. The food I ordered was hot, which is a plus. But one comolaint in the food was some of my teriyaki chicken was from an older batch and it was thinner and a bit tougher! NOT a good thing! –1 * The the customer service was friendly! Little young girl was smiling and greeted when I got there. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood besides the older lady who rang me up, I had to ask for a bag! It’s take out! GIMME A BAGLADY! oh and I walked away without a fork… thanks for letting me know where they are. and no greeting goodbye either. –1* Just an average take out panda express. Nothing more. Nothing less. I’ll come back from time to time when I want American/mexican/Chinese food !

Got Panda due to limited options. I wanted to go to the fancy place next door, but I didn’t want to spend $ 17 on a caprese sandwich — hence we opted for the cheapest option, here. The portions were surprisingly large, especially for airport food. You definitely get a lot of food for what you pay, so in that sense, it’s a bargain. As for the food quality, you can’t expect much from pseudo-Chinese fast food. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t horrible. It was meh.

After 5 weeks backpacking around Sth America, my friend & I were craving some fresh veggies. I’m not a massive Chinese food fan, especially these types(picking from food under a heat lamp) but the choice at TB is very limited. Anyway, I found the mixed veggies to be really good! Fresh, Al dente & a large portion. Just what we needed. The eggplant tofu was pretty good too. The meat dishes were OK, nothing special. As alway in the States, service was super friendly!

The bf and I were stuck in the International terminal for four hours between flights. We wanted to try Pink’s, but found that they tragically closed. What a bummer! This Panda has a limited number of entrees. Usually I don’t mind Panda, but for some reason this Panda had the distinct taint of being airport food. Portions were generous, but overall not worth it due to the incredible price mark up due to its location.

Typical Panda — expensive since it’s in the airport and they don’t give too many large-ish portions I was used to at a non-airport locale. For that, two stars. Since airport traffic is very unpredictable they are constantly cooking so sometimes they get stuck with food that sits around the heat lamps more than I would like. So, this can be hit or miss. But, still probably one of the better airport places I’d like to eat at.

Pretty typical Panda Express. All the items you would find at a regular one were present here, with the addition of new items such as walnut shrimp. Service was pretty friendly, which is tough to find at an airport these days. Prices are what you would expect at an airport. For everyone complaining about the prices here, take a look around and see if you can get anything better at the other joints for the same price. It doesn’t compare to what I was eating in Taiwan less than 24 hr later, but it got the job done and was there when I needed it. What else can I ask for?

Airport food is always overpriced and not that great… and this experience didn’t change my mind at all. I was here around 2PM and there were only about 4 dishes out with 1 – 3 more servings left. I asked if they would have any new items coming out and I got the reply: «No, we’re changing shifts so this is what you get.» Sigh, since I didn’t want to get McD or Pink’s I settled with 2 items. I know airport food is expensive but a two item combo came out to be NINEDOLLARSSOMETHING. I mean, normally it’s like less than SIXDOLLARS. Really? The portions were typical of other Pandas and the taste was also very similar. I wasn’t very happy with the limited selection AND I had to pay more than I normally would… No bueno!

First reviewer! YAY! Just recently open at the Tom Bradley International Terminal, LAX. Panda took the place of the old crappy Hamada Express. I guess you’re buying and eating here because of the name. Tried it out for the first time last week while at work. Your usually fast food, Panda Express Chinese food. Nothing to write home about. They did give a lot of food and some extra helping of food with my combo. I wouldn’t recommend Panda before you head on your 12 – 16 hour flight… did you just beef in first class??? EWWWW!
