Love Pamela’s dresses. I buy a few a season. If you have curves, they really accentuate your sensuality. Yes, they are pricey. But they are just as pretty as L’Wrenn Scott’s and a bargain by comparison.

Pamela Barish has the most gorgeous clothes! I always feel wonderful in them. I used to have to buy two or three completely different wardrobes due to my extremely diverse client base, artistic and sophisticated in CA, and NYC, professional and old school in DC and Boston. Pamela’s dresses are the first ones I’ve found that are perfect for both — the lines are thoroughly classic but they always have something unexpected that gives them a chic flair. The fabrics and workmanship are exquisite and her clothes fit beautifully. The women who work there are also fantastic — they really do take care of you. I am not rich but I always save my pennies for at least one or two dresses a season — they are absolutely worth it. Did I mention she designed my wedding dress and it was perfect?!?

Pamela Barish designs aren’t for everyone. They have this coquettish, prim and proper feel to them. I know the Unilocal community skews towards a younger, less professional crowd, but for those who work in conservative, corporate America, there are some gorgeously designed dresses. That being said, there are also some designs which would stand out at a wedding or cocktail event. My husband absolutely LOVES the designs. Be ready to wip out the cash, because as Emma said, the dresses don’t dip under $ 700. They can make any design in pretty much any color for you.

Small boutique that you can buy off the rack or work directly with the designer to have them create something custom for you. Oh and they also do in store tailoring that is included in the price(which isn’t cheap but nice for a perfect fit). Dress on average seem to run from $ 650-$ 1400. Great customer service too! They really get to know their clients.
