Came here one weekend while our apartment’s washer was getting fixed. So annoying that it keeps breaking down all the time. Luckily this place isn’t too far from me. Found this place easily near Olympic and Hauser. Had a few parking spots in front. About 10 spots but o was almost full. Got one spot at the end. Many washer and dryer units inside. The washers charge about $ 1.50 for small loads and $ 4.00 for really large loads. Dryers are $ 0.25 but I had to put in another quarter to get my load really dry. Takes about 40 minutes for the washer and 10min for the dryer. For me the dryer took 20 min since I ran it again. Not much seats inside so some people left and would stand. Felt counters looked a bit dirty so I folded them at home. They also offer free wifi for customers while they wait. If my washer breaks again I wouldn’t mind coming back to this location.

This is my go-to laundry place since it’s only about 2 blocks away and my building doesn’t have laundry facilities. For the most part, it’s clean, bright and well-maintained. Even the bathroom is surprisingly clean. There’s almost always someone there actively cleaning and straightening up every time I go. They replaced the damaged floor tiles in the past year so that’s much nicer. There’s always a machine available for me to use, and I can always get several loads done at once. They have 4 sizes of washers with three different price ranges — $ 1.50, $ 3.00, $ 4.00 and $ 5.00. The negatives are that I think the regular drying cycle is too hot, so it’s shrunk a lot of my husband’s t-shirts, a couple of the counters where I wanted to fold my clothes on Sunday had some gritty dirt on them, and someone stole my laundry detergent bottle with what little was left in it when I wasn’t looking. You also occasionally have to hit the upright machines near the coin slots to get the coins you put in to go down. As a woman, I also feel a little unsafe at night in the parking lot and crossing the street to go to Subway while I’m waiting for my clothes to dry. Two more positives to end on an up-note: They have a few TVs and there’s a horizontal video game machine where you could easily use up your laundry quarters playing Ms. Pac-Man or something.

When our washer/dryer started acting like it was possessed by Whirlpool demons, we came here to do our laundry a few times rather than rushing a purchase. The laundromat is very clean and quiet, and the clientele is friendly, which in this neighborhood is likely to be a concern for some(I wouldn’t be afraid to let my wife come here without me, if need be). There is a change machine, the washing machines come in four sizes, and the dryers can be used in 10-minute increments — both are plentiful, we’ve never had to wait for a washer or dryer. There are plenty of racks with space to hang(don’t forget your hangers), and there’s no shortage of counter space for folding. They have a vending machine in case you forgot something, and you can also grab detergent across the street at either 7 – 11 or Sunny. The staff is also warm and helpful. My complaints are small, but they’re the difference between a four– and five-star review: they close at 11pm(last wash is 9:30pm, I believe) — being open a few hours later would be nice. And I wish they had wifi — cell signals aren’t great in this hood, and it’s a battery drain trying to work from the phone while waiting for the laundry to wash and dry. But that’s nit-picking — clothes don’t wash and dry themselves, and this place Is more than suitable to get the job done if you don’t have the resources in the confines of your own home.
