Stopped in the other day with my dad and some of his friends. The location is almost surreal. It’s in an industrial park deep in the San Fernando Valley, and almost has a speakeasy vibe to it(it was cold outside so they had the door closed). Head brewer was friendly, knowledgeable, and very real about business, which was refreshing to hear. I had the Guava DIPA which took some time to get used to(it is a double), and then switched to the Passion Fruit IPA(I believe, I can’t remember the actual name now), which was so delicious I thought about buying a growler and taking some home. Loved how they promoted other local breweries!

Got recommend by a friend. Now I’m going to have to kick his ass. Entire staff were pricks. Very inappropriate to my wife constantly hitting on her. Beer reminded me of vinegar and piss(except I think my piss is colder and taste better). I’m an seriously going to beat the krap out of Jake! Avoid this place! I rather go drink in the park

I do not understand how you can have hours posted for this place. Bring a group of friends over, and it’s closed. Staff(or lack thereof) doesn’t seem interested in you or what you want to order and it’s the size of a shoebox. Literally.

Some of the coolest owners around, always met with with a welcoming handshake, great conversation and just some delicious brew. Finally got to try the Guava IPA and it was no joke so man up! Good times to be had and it feels like you’re kicking it with family. Nothing but good things to say. Support your local brewery!

One word: AwesomeSauce(its a word, look it up) jk, but seriously, this place is an awesome spot if your looking for a home brew in your home town. ‚ Location: not easy to find but look for the tables and chairs outside and #5 on the door. The Booze: small yet perfect selection of microbrews perfected. They seriously have this down to a science! The inside scoop, small place inside but they make it work! Seriously, stop by and check this place out! Ask for Robert, he’s one of the brewers there!

This brewery is soo cool!!! It definitely was not what I expected. It was some how so much more. Nestled in a sort of industrial lot, it looks like you are for a second, but it is there. Just look at the doors for #5. It is the one with the tables and chairs set up outside in the parking lot. Anyways, when we got there they had barely opened at 4… we thought they opened at 3:30…it turns out the hours are off from what is posted on Unilocal,so just call and check or see the hours posted on the door. Robert is so chill. Definitely felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. We were the only ones there and he was really great at explaining everything and letting us try new things. We got a preview of the new guava ipa that us coming out soon. Then we tried the ml1371 double ipa. It was really good. I also had a glass of the white wheat… it was really smooth. I loved it. It’s a classic as a bunch of the new flavors are popular and disappear quick, so you can’t go wrong with a simple beer. They also had hot dogs for sale which paired greatly with the beer. There are also some off menu items like magaritas… just ask! I had a great time there and I definitely think I will be coming back!

Great beer, great hosts, great beer! Their beer selection was what I was hoping for in my San Fernando brewery tour. All of the beers they offered were fantastic and worthy or a return visit. The two guys behind the bar we very welcoming and great hosts. Definitely recommend.

This place is awesome! Walked in and I immediately was offered a warm hand shake and welcome by the bartender and staff. Beer is tasty, well crafted and the vibe can’t be beat. Support local businesses and spend your hard earned money on people that work hard and put love into their craft. Cheers!

This is tricky to find. Just look for #5. No storefront. So fun. Great people make great beer. Hours are wrong. They open at 3:30, not 3:00. This is not having a beer at The Palms. This is a whole in the wall that makes great hand crafted beer. Not a good neighborhood so go in afternoon or early evening.

Pac City Brew. What can I say? Like Dr. Thompson, I’ve been looking all over for the american dream. I think I found it. For years I’ve longed for a cubby hole such as this. One grows tired of hittiing the highway for a proper drink, especially with the dire consequences of driving under the influence. Sometimes you just wanna hop on the bicycle and sip on a 10.0 in a quaint locale. Strong beer right in the heart of the hood. Bobby at the helm is a mad scientist akin to the great Morris«Moe» Szyslak. This joint has it all. We’re talking high ABV, experimental, Free WiFi, available speakers for music, available projector for films, both Old Glory and USMC flag proudly on display, flyers advertising CicLAvia, Jenga and boardgames. Last time I was chilling, a few other patrons put on Saving Private Perez. I asked Bobby if I could bring a few friends over to watch Dazed and Confused again, he said that would be fine. Nothing else like this in Pacoima. Got me feelin’ like a young Homer Simpson.

Second time at this place. Close to home and a great place to unwind after work. Case of the Mondays? Come to Pac City! Great place to grab a pint before plans on the weekend too. Staff is super awesome and as hard as I’ve tried to find a hatchet, I can’t find it anywhere. I’ve managed to sneak around the facility and although I’ve found secret recipes and a stash of candy, no sign of a hatchet. My quest to find this mystical cutting tool continues and in the meantime I’ll proceed to enjoy everything on the menu. Cheers!

PAC city brewery is a working brewery to its core. There not afraid to provide bold beers. If you haven’t tried their guava IPA what are you doing with your life? just kidding but really really good beer. The team is real laid back and the conversation is always good. They have some board games and other fun stuff to do while you enjoy a pint or two or three. Stop in but when you walk in don’t forget to introduce yourself ;-)

PacCity ALLDAY! this place is super legit. me and the broseph have been here 3 times now, last night brought some of the neighborhood friends, each time Robert has given us something new to try and it never disappoints. The McCallister was delicious. 5 bucks a pint??? Feels like im stealing. Low-key spot, nice and quiet. We played a round of Jenga last night as we drank our tasty brews. I will be back next weekend for sure. See ya soon Rob.

The owner and crew are as polite and respectful as any I have encountered(and more than many) and I have never had a moment of awkwardness or discomfort. The vibe has been low key(with a splash of laughter) every time I’ve been in and the beer is uniformly well-made and tasty. The only negative I see is the size; they will no doubt need a bigger place soon! Not only the first craft brewery in the Valley(Golden Road doesn’t count as «The Valley», sorry) but also the best!
