Went in to get a hawaiin bbq chicken and was told it be a 10 min wait for rice and so I waited only to get home and end up with cabbage and mac n cheese which i had asked the girl at the counter twice to substitute both items for rice. Bad Customer service and bad relay by the cashier to the cook on the order.

Boyfriend and I went to buy a BBQ Chicken plate just to be told that they had ran out of rice«for the moment», and that it would be a 10 – 15 minute wait. We waited about 20 minutes to come home to find one piece of chicken, a ton of cabbage, and a whole bunch of macaroni. No rice whatsoever. So disappointing. If you don’t have rice, just be honest. Plus, the customer service here is beyond me, I worked in the food industry for years, and the attitude of the cashier is very apathetic. If you like Ono, I would suggest the one located on Sunset & St. Andrews, stay away from this one.

Was at the emergency room all day and rushed over cause I hadn’t eaten in 10 hrs. Gave me a completely wrong order(I CANTEVENEATBEEF) and took long when I was in an extreme hurry. I am beyond angry. I got a CHICKEN combo no BEEF

I like this location. They are always generous with their portions. I do not feel like they just fill my takeout box with a lot of rice and very little meat. If you get one of their BBQ meat items it is generally not too unhealthy. There is plenty of seating if you want to stay there and eat. If you are looking for takeout their turnaround time is not bad. You can also phone ahead and place your order for pickup which is convenient. There is a large parking lot they they share with other vendors. The only issue with the parking lot(not their fault) is that people in the parking lot often do not pay attention as they are backing out of their parking spot or speeding through the lot. Drive carefully!

Are you kidding me? This place is super clean, lots of space for a huge luau. Never busy and very quick to deliver food. I bought the Haupia dessert and the fresh coconut. I had just eaten dinner so no food for me. However, it was delicious.

Ordered the BBQ Beef Mini Meal. The service and atmosphere is a little dead and boring but the food tastes great. I wish the prices were cheaper since it feels more like fast food than a sit down restaurant but the food is really worth it. The chicken is also good but I think it needs extra sauce because some times it’s tastes dry and less flavorful. Overall, I really enjoy the food and enjoy this restaurant frequently when I’m craving delicious BBQ!

Great food. Absolutely great. I’ve never been disappointed. With the food. The atmosphere? Eh. It is what it is, a little too antiseptic, lights too bright and flourescenty. It’s what you would expect for a strip mall in this part of Hollywood. It would be great if this Ono(tragic name, really) could extend its hours, but the later it gets, the less likely I am to want the people hanging around it to be dinner guests at my fancy parties. That includes you, guy in the Porsche. I probably mean the other guy in the Porsche. Or do I? But people. Seriously. You have to teach your employees some basic etiquette. I neither want nor need anybody to kiss my ass, honest. Ask anybody that I ever should have told to kiss my ass and they will confirm that I am not quick to make the suggestion. But just a teenie, eenie, iddy, biddy widdy smidgeon of the social graces would make it so much more likely that I should return. So give your employees a couple of classes on how to treat customers as if they would actually be happy to see said customers return occasionally for a delicious bowl of rice(they got the brown kind!) with all sorts of damn good, often healthy, Hawaiian BBQ on it. Caveat to the owners and managers: Fake etiquette, like an emotionless«hellowelcometoonomayitakeyourorderplease» or a plastered on a rictus to hide how much your employees hate patrons in general or particular ones, or hate working at Ono(please consider a less discouraging name) is not what I’m talking about. I want human beings who acknowledge and respect the humanity of others as the employees would want in return. I may be asking too much. I have no idea whether you’re paying your employees a living wage(at the very least $ 15/hour), giving them opportunities for(and encouraging) advancement, giving them access to affordable health care(don’t expect the government to do that for you just yet), accepting their right to unionize or genuinely respecting them. I sincerely hope you are. If you aren’t, then I can’t expect them to be happy to see customers much less want to work there. In fact, if you can do that successfully, I’ll gladly add a couple of stars to this review. I am very much grateful for the food you offer. It tastes great and you have healthy choices. That is extremely rare in a fast food joint. Also, bus the tables more often. Thank you!

This seems like a great fast casual place to get lunch. I went in today and was surprised at how reasonable the prices were for such large portions. Today I got BBQ beef and the Hawaiian BBQ chicken, with a side of rice. It was delicious. The beef in particular. Danisha the cashier who served us was very friendly, she gave us suggestions on what to order. If you want a quick lunch go check this place out. I paid approximately $ 8 for an aloha plate with two sides. Definitely worth it.

The service is great, but the food and prices are just not worth it. Either the owner or manager are cheap or european, because they sure served me a few pieces of meat and a a lot of steamed cabbage. For $ 12, I mean its not fancy food here, and no power outlets? There is a good reason why its empty. At least you get free refills. That said, it is clean and big, so if your in a group, go for it.

The food is okay. It’s typical chain food, no surprises there, but if they do one thing right, it’s the spam musubi. I usually get the chicken katsu plate or even the island curry chicken plate. I personally don’t enjoy their lettuce. The sogginess of it never seems to go well with teriyaki chicken. If you come during lunch time, expect your order to take twice as long. I don’t know why but during my one-hour lunch break, I usually spend a good 40 minutes waiting on the food, which is one of the reasons why I don’t visit this place that often.

This place is awesome! Super fresh chicken breast. My husband and I got the island curry chicken and the island fire chicken. Both were tasty– the fire chicken was deliciously spicy. The order comes with rice and a side bed of greens with edamame in it. Yum.

Sooo good!!! The macaroni salad is to die for!!! Wait time can be a little longer than one would like. But it’s definitely worth the wait. Get ready for some greasy fun!!! And keep those napkins close by. You will need them

Walked in and the first thing that caught my attention was the Hawaiian/Beach music playing in the back ground. It felt like I was in Hawaii but then I realized there was no sand nearby. One portion of the wall was an ocean mural with turtles which I though is cool to add to the effect of the Hawaiian theme. The service was good and the cabbage with my meal was actually cooked well. Downsides were the aftertaste of the teriyaki sauce and they give you a container regardless if your order is dine-in or to-go.

I’ve called to order food, and the lady I spoke to was Very rude. Her name is Esli. It was very hard to hear her on the phone and she was being very aggressive when I’m trying to speak with her. When I came to the restaurant to get my food, I waited and watched how she worked. She called a food order and not even two seconds passed by and she tossed the food back on the table with an attitude and was also rude to the customer that she was calling. Then I watched her cleaning the food tray and aggressively throwing it in a pile where it fell on the floor. All in all, she made the experience an Awful one. She had the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. And she gave us the WRONGORDER!

Love this place!!! The staff are friendly, the food is consistently amazing every time! And the mac pasta has a unique delicious flavor you cant get anywhere else! My favorite is the #1, the grilled chicken.

My friend mentioned Hawaiian food so we went to try this out. So disappointing! We ordered the kahlua pork, chicken katsu pick 2 meal and then a spam musubi. The kahlua pork and spam musubi were not good. The katsu was good, and I really liked their katsu sauce. I was also upset that the meal I ordered came with salad rather than the traditional mac salad. The rice was also very dry.

The slaw is not dressed too thick to throw your diet. Chicken choices include grilled. An inexpensive way to eat healthy with some good seasonings as well.

The Hawaiian Beverages are really good, for a counter service restaurant the chicken is really good. Teriyaki style is my favorite, very tender and juicy, you get plenty of food for the price. .the plate comes with rice, salad and plenty of chicken. The place always looks clean and the service is also good.
