Omar Santiago Electric Company

I called Omar after I had called another electrician which turned out to be a broker, not a small business or individual electrician. The first service said they would charge a $ 90 fee to come out and look at my ceiling fan that I had just installed but was not working.
Omar did not ask for any fee to just come out and look at my issue. He was early which was a pleasant surprise. The first company never called me back when they said they would.
Omar was friendly and had his own equipment. He diagnosed the issue and completed the job in an hour. I was so impressed that I hired him again to install a replacement porch light and floodlight. The floodlight didn’t work out of the box which I had purchased at OSH. I was so disappointed! Omar saved the day and offered to drive me to a nearby Lowes to get a working unit.
I will continue to use Omar for my electrical needs and I highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I love and hate reviewing service providers. I love it because they are so necessary and usually, we are so at the mercy of their expertise. I hate it because when they are good, they are great, but they they are bad, they are terrible.
Omar is great. He is fast, honest, upfront and performs the job in a clean and professional manner. And, in my opinion, for the right price.
The work I had was not too complicated — installing a new electric car charging station. But there were some tricky issues with location and the city inspection. No problem, job done.
I review a lot, and I am critical of service providers, but in my opinion, calling him is an easy choice.

I normally do not write reviews on any services I have used, however I felt compelled to comment on the fantastic service I received from Omar the Electrician. We purchased an older home with an old electrical system. When Omar arrived he took the time to explain in detail the safety hazards that we had with the way our home was wired and suggested we start with running new electrical throughout our home since it wasn’t grounded. He then took the time to hear my needs and what I initially wanted in my home. I wanted recessed lighting, some outdoor light fixtures in the back yard for my 3 boys to be able to play into the night and more electrical plugs, since there were few in our older home. I love that he convinced us to do LED recessed lights throughout. I gives our home a more contemporary look which is the style I was shooting for. He also went through each room and asked how we would like our recessed lights positioned. He gave us some options and we went with a traditional square pattern he suggested.
For our outdoor lighting I had purchased two motion sensor lights from the Home Depot and he recommended we put flood lights to give more light for the boys to play safely. He was right because the motion lights are much dimmer and he put them in areas of the house were it gives just enough lighting. All in all I really admire his ideas and professionalism. His pricing is reasonable considering you are getting top of the line work, no «Mickey Mouse» work done on your home where you’re precious assets reside. We have had the privilege of working with Omar on several occasions in our home to help with electrical needs. I can say without hesitation that he is accomplished, outstanding in what he does, and a true gentleman. I would heartily recommend Omar for any electrical need.
