Olympian Burgers

That shit was crackn. Our burgers were charbroiled goodness and the fries were on deck. We beat the crowd because you will b out of luck on seats so phone orders best. Clean and fast on the cooking. Once again USC area bomb!

I call on the phone and order a carne asada chili cheese fries with jalapenos and I was thinking I was going to get the same lame thing as I always do. My surprise was that it was completely full of everything, he came with the whole package. Perfect taste perfect spice perfect amount of ingredients it was just perfect. It was spicy, it was cooked very good, and the taste oMG delicious. Whatever could go whoever cooked they have now they are doing an excellent job.

Tried the Chicken plate + cheeseburger. 3 stars means A-​OK and it was just that. Chicken was a bit try, nothing special with the flavoring. The cheese burger didn’t seem fresh at all.

This place has awesome French toast! My weakness… Breakfast burritos and burgers are good as well. Order ahead of time, saved myself along with 7 other people some time.

Mever fails to leave me wanting more, the chicken plate with fries and salad, the cheese burger special, or the breakfast plate i can never have enough.

Seems popular around my apartment, lots of customers everyday. However the food is a little bit rough for me~

When I approached the counter, I was rushed to order and a young lady was not assisting me properly.
I wanted to see if I can add shrimp to my shrimp plate, and said I wasn’t they don’t do that. I even offered to pay extra. She replied very rudely and with an attitude.
She asked me to move aside and both her and another lady that look like she can be my Tia seemed just not customer service friendly. They made me feel uncomfortable ordering. The only reason I’m giving a 2 star is cause the food was pretty okay.

First time at Olympian.
It was crowded which meant food had to be good. The ladies at the cashiers talking in spanish about sex, and making fun of each other among the men who work the grill. Stood for 1 minute without being acknowledged. After they talked I finally got my order taken. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a tuna melt. Food was good nothing special that stands out. 50 cent for a refill? Workers playing with each other and talking smack in spanish? This place was a hit and miss. It didn’t wow me.

Classic American Diner. Perfect for a nice sit down Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Make sure to try the Chicken Plate Special. Delicious and juicy, with crisp fries and fresh salad. And don’t forget breakfast, with a Grand Slam that gives Denny’s a run for their money. Enjoy!

I love the half chicken with rice, beans and tortillas. yum yum!
The onion rings are good too! Can’t go wrong ordering anything from here, but I do recommend the chicken its delicious, and you see when they make it!
I haven’t had their breakfast but I sure will next time.
Most of the times it’s crowded so if you go with someone else one person should get in line and the other wait around for a table.
If you do not want to wait in line call them and pick up your order.

My mom and I were visiting my brother who goes to USC and lives 5 blocks away from this place. The prices are inexpensive for the amount of food that you get. The breakfast is really good and the pollo is great! I like the grand slam breakfast it is enough for 2 people which was because my other brother I have shared it because I couldn’t eat all the food myself! My mom and I went there 2 times in one day.
When I went the first time I saw that there was firefighters coming out walking to their truck. If they are going it must be good and popular. I like to support local small businesses instead of chains.

I had a double cheese burger combo and a side of onions. Place was clean and decent. Service was slow even though it was not busy at all. The price was cheap and The food was cheap. The burger was huge, The lettuce on the burger was old I removed it before eating. The fries lacked flavor, however, The onions rings were delicious.

Solid little joint. Bacon and avocado cheeseburger is good, although I wouldn’t drive out of my way for it. But if you’re USC-​adjacent and are short on cash this isn’t the worst choice you could make.

It is famous for its chicken plate, which is a great delicious large meal. Two chicken thighs and legs and the choice of two sides among these: rice, salad, beans and fries. The chicken taste awesome! They also give you two pieces of toasted bread which taste great! You have to wait about 5′ for the food if it is not crowded!
I also tried the NewYork steak and it is also good! 5′ walk from USC! Best place if u are munchies!

minutes away from the apartment i have been staying at and look. i get it. great location for college students and families that live around here. its CHEAP and gets the job done. its actually funny i just visited their website and WOW its so nice but does not accurately reflect this spot. look, for the amazing low prices i cant complain too much. very chill location. they take your order and you get it in about a few minutes. if you order the right thing im sure you will enjoy it more and the portion sizes are great.
now my review reflects the burger and fries i had… for a place that had burgers in their name i wasnt impressed. sure it did the job but i wasnt satisfied after. i dont think i will return because i just wasnt too pleased after but i def recommend this place to those who are on a budget and need some food to fill em up.
i got the:
¼ lb. hamburger combo (aka burger, fries, and drink) — ($ 5.64) — okay for the price its wonderful! but the burger was a pretty basic patty you would find at ralphs… nothings special or especially juicy for me. fries were okay but not tasty and flavorful. the drink was a regular fountain drink that you can choose from. i wouldnt recommend this if you want something flavorful…
final verdict: come here if youre on a budget and dont get my order if youre looking for tons of flavor and juice…

I just so happen to work nearby and this is my go to place when I need a quick meal.
Everyone raves about the chicken and they are right. It is a well done plate with different side options. I eat here a lot in the morning so I like the chicken and eggs plate. The portions are huge and I have never left dissatisfied. I also enjoy the steak sandwich.
Keep in mind that this is a fast food joint, but better quality than the big chains.

I have been coming here since my teenage years and now I go with my kids.
My kids love the chicken. I mean the food is great. Staff has been the same for years as well which feels good to see a familiar face when you walk in.
Overall cannot say not one bad thing about Olympian!
So many memories… I will keep coming back for more.

I came in here last night because my friend went earlier in the day and he told me that the chicken plate is a must-​try.
When I walked in, it felt like I stepped into a time machine. The ambience/​atmosphere made me feel like I was in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Kinda cool, but could use a renovation.
I didn’t look at the menu too extensively because I knew what I wanted before going in. I got the chicken plate with rice and beans. They give you a number, you sit down, and wait til your number is called. I was actually surprised how busy Olympian was at the time of night I went (10pm on a Sunday).
When I got my food, I was blown away. Half a chicken, very generous portions of rice and beans, tortillas, and salsa (if you’re trying to turn your chicken plate into tacos) all for $ 8. Realistically, I could have eaten half of it and saved half for my next meal. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The skin was crispy and the inside was juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The rice was what you’d expect, as were the beans. The beans were refried pinto beans. I’d prefer regular black beans or pinto beans like they serve at Caveman Kitchen-​healthier and easier on your stomach. Still good though.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Olympian burgers and I wish I tried it earlier in the year since it’s walking distance from my house. The chicken plate gets my approval and so does the portion size. Don’t expect a chic atmosphere but don’t expect an overpriced meal. You can definitely save half for later too!
