My favorite «Dive Bar»…never had a dull moment at Olmos Bar.

Hey George L… I hope everybody who reviews this bar from now on starts their review with «Hey George L.», the first guy to review, and who clearly has a bias towards this place.
Yes, it’s a super dive bar. Locals spot. Been in operation for 20+ years. Predominantly Latin clientele. There are Mexican action movies playing on one tv and TVE channel direct from Spain on the other tv. Christmas lights galore.
The servers are friendly. Domestic beers are $ 3.
There are 5 pool tables that cost 50 cents a game. Excellent modern jukebox. Karaōke every Saturday from 9PM until close. The owner is considering to have a trivia night.
I hope this place stays the same forever.

Hey George L. Why do you critisize the owner and his family. You say that you know them personally and evfen visit them once a week. You say that the girls are has beens, well let me ask you something. When was the last time you went there? The owner has new girls, they are not the ones he had ten or fifteen years agoYou don’tlook so fresh my brother. Look at yourself and you will see in the mirror a has been also. If you want to see beautiful model like girls then you are in the wrong joint. You’re toooldto bechoosyyouhasbeen.

Super Dive bar…
Anyway this place is on Whittier blvd close to Indiana. Ive known o this place for many years because I know the owner and his extended family. I actually see this family at least once a week.
So this bar is of a good size if you compare it to other local ones. Nothing has ever been done to it other than Inspectors forced the remodel of the Men’s restroom.
But they forgot something… NO TOILET!!!
WTF?
There are a few worn out pool tables and the bar is never crowded. I’m sure that days go by and almost nothing has been made, not only that, there is no parking!!! None! Only street parking, so good luck finding one on Whittier bld.
The chicks that attend the bar are has beens. None are anything to look at. No offense but they are all old and should have been replaced a good 10years ago…
The old man’s going to have to get creative and get some business in there. The place is dead…
