Food was always good. Mom & Daughter half-Korean half-Russian team are always nice and friendly. Sad to say when I walked into the food court today, everything of them is gone. Permanent closed.

We stopped by Olga and ordered a Hawaiian chicken dish for $ 6.50. Bf liked the macaroni salad. It also came with cabbage and rice. Chicken was tender. It’s a mom and daughter operation. The food was made to order.

This food court is a hole in the wall. They no longer have Borscht on the menu. I ordered the Chicken Kiev, per the owner’s suggestion and it was good. The chicken was moist, the flavors were good, and I liked the way the chicken was breaded and fried. I was not blown away by any stretch though and don’t plan on returning, also the food took a while to be served, so I give this place 3 stars.

Well first you have to have russian food experience before you complain! I was in russian many moons ago. They don’t make the mashed potato same way we americans make. I loved this place. Very authentic russian food. I am sure they can be better. But nothing to complain. Will visit again for sure.

?! A Very Late Review. First off the customer service is great, and the place is family owned by a Russian-Korean family. I went off the recommendation of the cashier, and had the curry. I can’t say the curry was great, but it was«A-OK», and i’ll stop there. Good Service. This place is located in the food court by Santee Alley.

I don’t get it. I tried this place based on reviews given here, but after going myself am starting to think reviews were written by friends/family of ‘Olga’. The ‘Homemade Ragu’ looks like someone opened a can of veg-all and tossed in some meat. At least cut up some fresh veggies. Nothing I couldn’t do in my own kitchen. The mashed potatos were flavorless… Not lumpy… Not creamy… Just blah. The Stroganoff again… Just ok, nothing special. The Chicken Kiev was ok, I’ve had better… I’ve had worse. I had to salt and pepper the shit out of everything and even that couldn’t save my little mound of cabbage/carrot salad. This food court is small but it’s got it’s regular places that are really good… If ‘Olga’ wants to continue being a part of this party she better hurry and step up her game before the Falafel king and Phở Master kick her out.

They run out of Chicken Kiev(their most popular dish) during lunch hour on a Friday? An unapologetic…“we’re out”, from the counter lady. Indifferent staff, poor planning. These people are loafin’ when they shoud be… wait for it… Rushin’. Luckily there are other dining options in the food court.

I have eaten at some Russian restaurants before, but the food is not as good as Olga’s russian food and you simply can NOT beat the prices. Helooooo? I hope Olga knows this is a food court?! This place is too good to be true, it’s like an Oasis in the middle of the desert lol. Anyway, Olga’s Russian food throws all of those other places to the side. This place is clean, healthy, and the customer service is just unbelievable for a food court. I go here all the time on a daily basis and always get quality service with a smile on. Their food is always fresh and delicious tasting. My personal favorite is the CHICKENKIEV, which you can choose to come with a side of mashed potatoes(which aren’t your regular mashed potatoes, every bite is like a little piece of heaven) or you can choose another side, which they have a lot of. I also like the soup they have, called BORSH. The owner, Olga, was nice enough to explain to me where the soup came from and when is the best time to have it, which is anytime for me since its so delicious! The curry is also really healthy, yet mouthwateringly tasty. Be sure to try their pastries, some have jam inside, always fresh, they are only $ 1.25 and a great desert after you’re done with your food. They also have beverages if you’re thirsty. One sentence to summarize everything about Olga’s Russian food would be that it’s real, quality food that once you try, it will keep you going back! Which I don’t mind because at the food court prices that they have, anyone can afford to go there even 3 times a day. THEYDELIVER, so you can always try their food that way too. Enjoy your Russian food everyone!!!

Finally, a Russian restaurant/café in Downtown Los Angeles. I came there with a colleague. The portions were very generous. The food was good, fresh, homemade, authentic, like my mom’s cooking. I was excited. Russian food is generally not spicy, so bring your own vodka, or salsa — whatever works for you. The prices are unexpectedly reasonable; usually a lunch at a Russian restaurant will easily take you to the expensive range. The owners are Korean-Russian, very open and friendly. I recommend.

This place is seriously amazing. The best Borsch I have ever had, and I eat Russian food quite often. Chicken Kiev is made really well, crunchy and tasty. Service is also really great. This place doesn’t belon in this marketplace food court… They should bring it to Hollywood… This is our only option in Downtown LA for Russian food. Restaurant quality and homemade feel and taste. I love everything they have. Coming here a lot more often now.

Located in the International Food Court near the Santee Alley, Olga Russian food serves fast food cafeteria style via warming trays. I tried a spoon sampling of their Curry and Ragu and must say it was quite tasty! I settled for a Beef Stroganoff dish that had a heaping foundation of extremely creamy and delicious mashed potato(you also have a choice of rice), side of wonderfully flavorful garlic carrot julienne and the last segment of the tray filled with a scoop of dressed salad. A fresh bread roll was also included. The beef itself was chopped down into strips and very soft and tender. I really enjoyed the earthy home made flavor and fantasized what else i’d love to eat this with, namely a bed of buttered egg noodles. The mashed potato combo is hearty and more than fine with me! I look forward to trying the other dishes they have including a Borsch Soup, Stuffed Bell Pepper, Chicken Kiev, Meatballs and Marinated Beef or Chicken. Also available are yummy pastries for dessert and a breakfast wrap for the early birds.
