Olaes Lamberto MD

I have known Dr. Olaes for 10 years and he was my parents primary physician. He is very caring, listen and take time to talk to his patients. He is an internal medicine and I know these MD service does not do procedures– especially invasive. Some people think that MD can order any test and procedures that they request. We should be oriented with the system of medical insurance. Internal medicine cannot order procedures for OB-​GYN. Procedures and test need justification for insurance to pay. Office is clean. Staff are friendly

My mother has visited Dr. Olaes on 3 occasions and he has not been very helpful. All he does is refer you for unnecessary things like chest x-​rays and eye appointments. We told him about an ultrasound my mother had done before seeing him that indicated she had fibroids in her uterus and after she had a new ultrasound done his office never called to follow-​up. I finally called a month later to make an appointment and he saw my mom for 5 minutes and just referred her to a gynecologist. He did not bother to explain her situation and did not care that she was in pain and wanted know the next steps. I have researched a lot about fibroids and found a procedure called uterine fibroid embolization so I mentioned it to him because my mom needed an MRI referral, but he completely disregarded it and told me that it was not a fibroid procedure. He obviously does not care for his patients. It’s frustrating and very sad.
His staff is also terrible. They just sit behind the counter and talk among themselves while you are at the window waiting for assistance. Never going back. Look for another doctor!

I had great experiences with this doctors office! Dr. Olaes was easy going and the nurses were very friendly and professional. Downside: cash only. But definitely a place I would go back to for simple blood work or other check-​ups.
Parking is difficult– in there small lot, but there is usually plenty of parking on Virgil.

I brought my son here for a procedure he was highly recommended for. Never again. He messed up the procedure so bad I had to go to another doctor to have it reconstructed. I will forever remember the pain and suffering my son went through just because we came to this clinic.
And oh parking is such a pain.
