I figured I better write soon because the experience was quite forgettable. If all you did was take water, add msg, and a few meats and condiments, and noodles, you would have the noodles that they serve here. Broth had zero flavor on its own. Meats didn’t taste too fresh but the servers were very nice and spoke decent english.

This location has re opened with a new name except my debit transaction still shows Noodle Bar Thai! The new owner is extremely nice and the ambiance has changed a lot! It’s a super cute hole in the wall now with delicious Thai cuisine! I tried this restaurant with the old owners and the food was fowl. Yes, I said fowl. The new owners, chefs, and management have really turned this place into a gem! Try it out! Minus one star for location, and parking is a major hassle but the Ke Mao, Tom Kah, Thai iced tea, and chow mein are delicious! Here’s to small places with big flavor! Happy Eats Unilocalers

Went here for lunch last Thursday and a girl Waited on us. Today got notification someone tried charging 6k on my account from numerous places. Bank of America said one of the last places I uses it wrote the information down. I live on OC and only used it once in LA and it was here. Funny the charges were right by here. E Beware DONOTUSECREDITCARDSHERE. Heck I like the food but WILLNEVERCOMEHEREAGAIN!

Don’t be a noob and order pad thai or the moo moo noodle dish. That’s for people that don’t know Thai food. This isn’t Panda Express either. Go for the classics — papaya salad, fried fish, pad kee mao, larb. The pad see ew is a bit on the salty side. Other than that, A+. Cozy vibe. Nice service. We got a 10% discount because it was a weekday.

It’s not me, it’s you. I loved you when you used to be Moo Moo, but you’ve changed, even your name. When we first met each other, you weren’t much to look at, but you knew how to make me happy with your super crispy pork goodness, savory noodle soups and tender hainam chicken. But now, your pork isn’t as crispy, neither is your fried egg. It’s like you don’t even try to season your food anymore. Today I’m deleting your number. It was great while it lasted, but you’ve changed and I gotta move on. I gave you the second star for all the good times. It’s not me, it’s you.

This place is advertised as a noodle bar and thai café, and that’s exactly what it is, and they excel at it! Great food selection for the Thai/Vietnamese food-deprived Westside. Their Chinese broccoli with crispy pork belly and roasted thai chili’s was simple and perfectly done; the Crying Tiger salad had the perfect fat-to-meat ratio, very satisfying! Their Tom Yum Noodle soup with seafood balls was my favorite, very sweet & sour, and you can add as much chili sauce as you want to spice it up. Will definitely be back. The place was extremely clean, and the service was great.

This place is OK. The service is very good. But food wasn’t impress me that much. I ordered moo moo noodles soup. It was OK, taste good but I want more spicy. And grilled pork is OK too. I ordered Pat Thai for my bf. It smells so good. Hope it taste good too! There is a fly in the restaurant. So… atmosphere is not good.

Pad Thai(yeah, I know, it’s typical and often Americanized, but if you re-brand as a noodle café, you better have good noodles) was so bland that I needed to add hot sauce to it taste decent, which totally changed what it was supposed to be. My fiancée’s moo moo noodle soup was bland as well, although she ordered mild(she had medium before and it was too spicy). Heads up — moo moo soup looks like phở(different broth though). The empty, grungy looking food cases don’t help atmosphere much either. P. s. as I’m here writing the review, I smell something burning.

I had their glass noodle salad and pad see ew. Their food is pretty bland and on the swert side. I wasn’t too impressed with the food. They have a small area in the corner of the store where they sell dry Thai goods if you want to cook at home.

I came to Noodle Bar Thai with my spouse for dinner because of the 4 star Unilocal rating. However, I consider that way too generous. This restaurant had a name change. It used to be called Moo Moo Thai and had a 3 star rating, all the previous Unilocal reviews are under that name. Moo Moo Thai is still on their menus. Let’s start with the ambiance. Think corner donut store. Every plastic plate and cup has a chip in it. If they are going to skimp on the essentials, they should lower their prices. We were seated at a previously used table, and nobody wiped it down. They’ve done there best to hide the kitchen from your view. Since I had never come here, I ordered one of the Specialties, Seafood Pad Thai. It was $ 14, so I was expecting something really special. Turned out to be bland, which is rare for seafood based items. Others have written good things about the regular pad Thai, maybe they are happy because it’s only $ 7. I give 2 stars because I won’t be coming back.

Have to say this place is the best in the Venice/Sepulveda area. My friend took me here, I didn’t know what to expect since the area is a bit of a run down strip mall kinda place. But boy was I wrong. This place has amazing flavors bursting out of the food we shared the Tom yum spicy soup w/tofu, Tofu Pad Thai, and Pineapple Fried Rice, it was all generous in sizes, the single soup was enough to share-we did, the pan Thai was a full plate, and the pineapple fried rice was also a full plate– all for $ 22. What more can I say, I’m coming back, inviting friends and I’m happy I found a place that’s not so far to eat my favorite kind of food.

The food is okay but the atmosphere is definitely not! There were flies EVERYWHERE. Even a dead one ONTHETABLE. Which the lady heard me talking about and just laughed. Even though it’s not very good it’s still decently populated, which makes the service pretty slow. It’s hot and not the cleanest inside. As for the golden A from the health inspector… DEADFLIESONTABLE.

Not your standard Thai spot. It feels more unique than that. Sure, you can get pad Thai– their’s is just ok– but why bother? They have a varied and tasty selection of noodle soups that are reason enough to go. Their eponymous Moo Moo noodle soup is my fave! Sweet and spicy!

Pad thai was very good, red curry was. Sticky rice w mango hit the spot for dessert, this place has a golden A from the health inspector, I’ve never seen that before! A new favorite!

Ehh. This place is alright. The yellow curry broth was decent, but the vegetables were way too hard. The restaurant has a weird odor that I don’t like at all. I probably wouldn’t come back just because of that. I want to feel comfortable when I’m eating.

Sat down and stared at the menu. The woman working came over and asked if I needed assistance. Great service. Cute little space. Good food. Fresh and delicious. I’ll be back.

Great customer service! They greet you cheerfully and are helpful. Ordered the red curry with tofu, satay chicken, and tom kah. They have choices of sauces for home cooking too! No need to go to Thai town!
