Noël Jewelers repairs jewelry, creates custom jewelry and sells some of their own designs and some estate jewelry. I’m in the trade but they will sell to the public, too as long as you pay sales tax. If I need something fabricated or a stone set I go to George at Noël Jewelers. The quality is high and consistent and the prices are fair. If I need something done in 3D then he sends me to his son Eddie upstairs. I’m not sure if they do casting and mold making in house but they have gotten those jobs done for me one way or another and I know they do stone setting and polishing in house. Sometimes George insists on polishing my own engagement ring for me(for free) when I am dropping off or picking up something. Also, with 3D they will do the 3D design, print and finish pieces for you. Usually a job is done within a week. They are not a place for mass production– more high end stuff like custom engagement rings. A few notes, and I’ve learned these hold true for any contractor– even if they say they will remember all the instructions you give them, make sure you write everything down for them anyway just in case. Always call to check that your piece is ready before showing up to pick it up. Parking in the neighborhood sucks and you don’t want to make that trip for nothing. Parking downtown is a nightmare. There are three garages on the block of Noël Jewelers and they are all between 3 and 4 dollars per fifteen minutes. I try to go after 4pm when there is a flat rate of $ 5 or $ 7 depending on the garage. Pay by cash or check.
