I have been to this establishment several times with friends who know the owner. I decided to take a very well known director to the establishment for a cocktail. I was rudely stopped at the door by a security guard who takes pride in being the«door man» and a girl who was extremely rude and not accommodating at all. You would have thought President Obama was in the building the way they acted towards us. I was extremely embarrassed by the way we were treated. I will never go back

Been to this place twice. Nice décor, definitely a good crowd, good times with a good company(but that’s a case everywhere, right), but nothing great or outstanding. Drinks are regular, not OMG good and they don’t have a cocktail list. I like trying interesting cocktails. It gets very crowded by the bar so its hard to pass by towards the restrooms or to order another drink, meanwhile other half of the place is empty. I have mixed feelings about place, kinda think like there are quiet a few more enjoyable places. Music was pretty nice and old school, but I feel like it can be more upbeat for a Friday night. Food can be hit or miss — chicken with mashed potatoes is good(mashed potatoes are amazing!), steak tartare is good, shrimp cocktail was just whatever. It was aloof funny to see a «bowl of lettuce» for $ 8 on the menu:)

We were in love with our meal — we had the fried chicken(with mashed potatoes and collared greens), halibut, Mac and cheese. I’d heard about No Name’s great vibe before, but hadn’t heard specifics about the nosh. Turns out the food is amaze. Cocktails are ordered bespoke(nice!), and were equally delish. If it sounds like I’m raving about this experience, it’s because I am. It was a quiet Wednesday night, and I’d love to come back and experience it on a busier night.

Walked by this place and saw that it’s probably called«community», because that’s what’s in the tile on the doorstep. But, there was a man and a woman outside ready to great either kind of person – man or woman. I saw, when they opened the doors to let someone in, that it looked like an oak and walnut wood decorated bar. They have clipboards hung on nails outside, with blank paper on it. I assume if you call ahead then you can have an adventure, but if you’re walking by with money to spend on good and valuable food and you look like you’re just looking around for that, you may be shunned. You get what you pay for??? Maybe I’ll find out one day.

I went here while visiting a friend in LA. For those who prefer a more quiet, chill dinner, definitely make your reservation no later than 9. Things get noticeably more crowded/busy around 10. Regardless of preference, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We ordered the pâté to start, which was delicious but could have used more bread(had to ask for a refill). Friend had the short ribs as her entrée; I ordered the special, which was fish in a spicy broth over polenta. Again, delicious. We were disappointed by the dessert menu – everything else set our expectations too high. Settled for chocolate ice cream, which was good but was looking for something more unique. Friend enjoyed her spicy margarita but my vodka soda was very watered down. Service was also quite slow, but it’s an exclusive place so I understand great service doesn’t have to be top priority.

Love love love this spot! Always came here for drinks with friends but recently got to enjoy dinner and the food was phenomenal! It’s also a more intimate space so not a lot of mainstream peeps — even better! Highly recommend.

Really good vibe here. Great drinks and amazing food. Staff is awesome. If you’ve never been you’ve probably driven or walked right by it and didn’t even know it. Monday nights are quiet and on the slower side regarding the crowd but that’s not necessarily a bad thing when going out for a couple drinks. Looking forward to going back on a Friday or Saturday.

This place is great, we heard about it because we live around the corner and there has been buzz in the neighborhood. It’s fantastic. We got a reservation by chance on a Friday night at 8pm(NOTE: This is reservations ONLY… you can’t even just walk in for a drink). We were shown right to our table and our waiter was so incredible. Food is great… a little pricey, but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a private club. We went to the bar after and the bartenders were great — cocktails were even more amazing. We have since brought several friends there a few times — chill vibe, cool ambiance, great food and drinks — oh plus sitting by several big name Hollywood faces — what more could you ask for? One thing to note — if you are lucky to get an early reservation on OpenTable — you will probably notice its very quiet — it really picks up around 930⁄10 — So stick around after your dinner and you will be very happy you did!

Without question, my favourite bar in LA. The staff are excellent and the bespoke cocktails are incredible. Provided you can get in, I can’t recommend the place more highly. (And if you can’t get in, don’t be assholes to the bouncers, they’re super nice dudes doing their job. You wouldn’t believe the abuse I’ve seen those guys get; Jesus Christ people.)

This private restaurant and bar is a little slice of sexy heaven for Fairfax. If you know who to email to get in, it’s not much of a hassle at all and they’re very quick to respond. I’ve gone two weekends in a row now for cocktails only and it’s a great place to go if you’re looking for a little bit of an older crowd than most bars(I’d say late 20’s to 30’s). Everyone is very fashionable and almost painfully cool. I even saw one of my favorite musicians ever just sitting at the bar with his friends. Drinks are pricey of course and no photos allowed.

Came here for my friends bday, we made reservation through a friend recommendation. The Maneger kept goof through tables making sure everyone is satisfied. I ordered a salad, the best I’ve had so far in LA. My friend order the meatball, it was good but I would go with something else from the menu. The waitress ordered is a bottle of water which we didn’t ask, but not a big deal. She was wonderful! Clear and nice, came over enough times. For dessert we got the chocolate mouse that had a surprise inside! $ 9 dessert is a good deal, considering the amount of work they put into decorating it. The bartenders were nice. Not a well known place, kinda underground, so the place isn’t too busy. Perfect for a privet night.

This place is super cool looking on the inside! Like an old school Hollywood feel. The Mac and cheese was amazing and the pasta was sooooooo good mostly meat sauce

The hostess was rude and said they have its ’ a private restaurant’ and didnt let us in . I was really upset because I told my friend about this place for a month and it was so disappointing. I heard about it from the radio and just anted to take a look inside but she didnt even allow that . must make a reservation before.

Here for a birthday party. The service was exceptional… The food was excellent… And the management knows how to run an establishment… The drinks were perfectly made and they make sure that you are well taken care of. The ambience is great with a very stylish décor. Will definitely return to this place.

Got an invite, went through the silly list/reservation process. Drinks were standard or boring. Clientele was annoying. Ambience was nice. I dunno, I don’t get it but it seems evil. Better businesses to support.

This secret no-so-secret spot was a fun idea. A friend knew the owner and got us on the guest list. Its small, be prepared to stand unless you snag a table somehow. We waited for about an hour at the bar before we were sat at the communal table. The drinks are pretty good, but pricey. The food portions are on the small side. I paid $ 9 for 1 tiny empanada they call a quesadilla. The Bolognese for $ 23 was pretty good as was the brisket. The 3 piece fried chicken was $ 35…a little crazy. The mustard greens are pretty good. I was expecting more after all the hype but it was really a lot of hollywood hipsters and the such. Fun for a random night out but probably won’t be back.

Really cool spot. Not«bougie» or anything. Just a super chill place in LA to hang at… IF you’re invited, that is. Inside reminds me of the Rose Bar in NYC. Artsy style with exposed brick walls, huge oxblood Velvet drapings over the exterior walls and super cool rustic chandeliers with Edison bulbs. I really didn’t expect much for the food being that this is more of a bar and a place to come hear amazing live music, but I was starving and asked the bartender to order me the favorite dish. Out comes this gorgeous trout. Holy moly. I wanted to do cartwheels on the bar, it was legit THAT good. Hubs had the fried chicken, and it was AMAZING(and that’s saying a lot because I’m from the Deep South) Make friends with cool people that can bring you here. It’s pretty exclusive, which is honestly kind of the best part. No douchey dudes or skanks running around in bandage dresses here, just a super cool environment filled with quality talented COOL people that have mad style. And good food. And amazing drinks. And décor. So yeah, you def want to put this on the«to do» list, unless you’re a douche, then don’t come. Kthanksbye

Sonst geht man in’s Konzert!
