The whole point of going to a cleaners is for the clothes to be clean when it is ready for pick up… this place is over priced and does not do the job correctly.

The last 3 times I’ve gone to this place the doors have been closed and locked. The opening hours posted are 7:30am and no one seems to care that customers are trying to do business with them at that time! They do an ok job but not worth wasting my time.

There are so many places in town and it’s not easy to find a place that does great work AND treats their customers well anymore it seems. I am new to the area and was surprised at how hard it was to find someone that could do alterations well. So happy to have found this place.

So there was this dress my wife really like unfortunately they were out of her size everywhere I looked. I decide to buy her a large although she needs a medium and just get it altered to Medium and surprise her.
I explain the situation to the guy at new era and ask him to cut it down a little bit to a medium. He replies «why don’t you just buy a medium». Apparently he paid no attention to what I just explained. So I simplify it for him and tell him «I need this to be made into a medium». He then said «okay $ 35» Which seem high to me. So i went a block down to Kim’s got it done for $ 15

I used to come here often for cleaning and mending but the last two times they permanently ruined garments. One was a blouse that was stretched about 3 sizes too big, and the other was a dress that they shrank to the size of a blouse. I have finally learned my lesson.

actually they are now called ‘new era cleaners’. they usually get the job done but have occasionally they miss their deadline. 3.5 stars
