Nespresso Boutique at Bloomingdale’s

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Ashton changed my life with his Nespresso knowledge! Seriously had the absolute best experience today! My gf and I were doing some shopping and she stopped to ask some questions about her new machine at home and Ashton went above and beyond to educate us and help us get a better understanding of how to use the machine! He taught us a few new tricks on how to stop the machine if we just wanted a ‘shot’! I personally do not own a Nespresso machine nor did I ever want to invest in one, but Ashton has 100% changed my mind and I will be back asap to make my purchase!
Thank you Nespresso for hiring someone like Ashton on your team! His knowledge on the product, coffee, accessories, and everything Nespresso has changed my life, literally! As a coffee addict, I am now obsessed with this company because of the amazing service I received today! I recently started stopping by this location when I am in the area. It is a great space to pick up coffee and teas in between running errands and looking for purchases at the mall (for other people of course). The staff in friendly and knowledgeable. I believe they take their cue from their manager who is extremely helpful. Her knowledge of the Nespresso products is impressive; it is only out weighed by her knowledge and expertise in coffee and tea in general. Top that off with her warm and accommodating nature and its easy to see where the rest of the staff get their direction from. If you have a chance and are in the area, stop by. It will be worth it!

So let me begin by saying I use to go to a well known coffee house in Los Angeles. No not the one you are thinking about but another with multiple locations. Well I had this amazing experience with a young lady named Yari which I would later discover she was the manager. I was a loyal customer for some time until she moved on. I would eventually stop going as the service declined. Fast forward I went to Nespresso in search for a machine for myself after hearing great things about their coffee. Who do I discover greeting me, yes, Yari. She offered me an Arpeggio. Ahh! Delicious. She showed me a few machines and I am happy to say I am a loyal customer. I will steal her words and say, «Nespresso is life changing.» I’m so happy to be her loyal customer once again!

Coffee gets a 4 rating. NESPRESSO corporate’s online promotions and credits get a NEGATIVE stars. They have shown a bunch of promotions such as when you spend $ 100 you get a $ 75 credit. I have not once been able to actually use the credit. What a scam. When I wrote them they sent me through an obstacle course to get the credit. I had to fill out all these web pages talk to all these people. Then they said wait a few weeks. I waited and waited and still have been unable to use the credit. The IRS should investigate. I love everything else about Nespresso but the games they play with the credits is not ethical.

Thanks for excellent customer service, with a special hat tip to manager Yari T., whose in-​depth knowledge about, and contagious enthusiasm for, Nespresso machines encouraged me to join the club and, after years of resistance, finally succumb to podmania … She demonstrated a machine that was so easy to use that even a mechanical moron like me would have a tough time screwing it up – and that includes the milk foamer… Then she treated me to one of the richest espressos I’ve ever tasted, and I was sold on the spot… No high-​pressure sales tactics whatsoever — just friendly and helpful responses to my many questions… I now understand why these Nespresso machines and pods have become all the rage… With excellent products, and energized employees like Yari to spread the word and ensure customer satisfaction, I foresee a good future for this company and am happy to recommend its coffee and coffee-​making products… A votre santé…

Came here in 2013 to buy a machine for work. Loved it so much I came back 2 years to finally buy one for me and my husband. Mila was helping me out to find the right machine for our needs. After showing several machines and sampling several different coffees she found the perfect match for us! Thanks Mila!

It isn’t a full shopping experience at Bloomingdale’s unless I stop by the Nespresso Boutique, which is located on the 3^rd floor, near the escalator.
My husband and I came by this boutique yesterday afternoon. We were immediately greeted by Ashton and this other friendly employee (female, unfortunately did not get her name). Ashton asked us if we would like to try something and pulled out a menu when my husband said he wanted something from the Vertuoline. I also got something from this line as well. Ashton put milk in both of our cups before adding the vertuoline capsules (he asked if we wanted milk prior).
We made small talk with him as he was prepping our drinks. He was friendly and a humorous guy, which was a delight.
Aside from the sampled coffee we received, we did browse the other capsules to see if there were any new flavors that my husband would like to add to his current stock at home (we have the Nespresso Pixie machine).
Each of the employees we interacted (3 employees total on this visit) were very friendly. You can tell they enjoy their job (or do a really good job of hiding their hatred), as everyone is all in smiles.
I have never had a negative experience at any Nespresso Boutique and am happy that this location adds to another stellar visit for us.

Mila and the team at Century City Nespresso are very helpful and informative. We always enjoy our trips there and sampling the latest flavors such as «Peru.» Our guests love using our machine and milk foamer.

Refill espresso capsules. Bought 6 boxes of the ten, eleven and twelve stars. Basically the dark coffees only. For $ 1.60 per capsule it’s a bit cheaper than going to Starbucks.

BRAD is the best employee Bloomingdales or Nespresso has EVER had! I had a GREAT experience shopping with him and left FULLY educated on my new machine!

I have just had the worst experience here. I never write reviews but this was so annoying, I had to write about it. I stood in line for 10 minutes without being helped, only to be told I was in the wrong line when I got to the front. The sales associate told me I had to go to the end of the next line and wait another 10 minutes. I usually go to the stand alone stores and not the mall store for exactly this reason. I will not be coming back here.

Always a pleasure to stop in here. I come by every few weeks to stock up on capsules for my Nespresso U. I’m always treated so well. The Nespresso folks are super courteous, always suggest some new variety I might not have tried before (and I often end up getting!) based on my personal preferences, and are just overall first-​rate in customer service. It’s just a walk-​up counter but they somehow make the customer feel like we’re in a super posh, exclusive club. That’s a nice feeling, especially since I usually go in at lunchtime, so it’s great to have a relaxing break from work.
This is my go-​to place for all things Nespresso, I will definitely be back.

I just LOVE. This boutique all the staff is so friendly is such a great experience every time I came here, Nespresso has some of the best coffees in the whole world, So much that I have a nespresso pixie for when I travel, yes the coffee is that good I have to travel with it
Lucky for me nespresso also offer travel cases for my machine.
If you are new to the nespresso club they can offer you a taste of «any» of their delightful coffees except for the very limited edition ones but is worth it and if you want to make your whole experience complete don’t forget to get the gourmet cups, they have one for every occasion and flavor
**As a side note for anyone reading this, please be a good customer and treat the employees with respect and kindness, they are there to help you, yes sometimes you may have to wait for a few minutes but just relax and enjoy the smell of fresh coffee and have your order ready easy for you easy for them.

It seems Nespresso wants to create an exclusive club type of experience by only selling the pods in fancy department stores. In a sense, they do achieve this by offering the complimentary tastings and chatting it up with you about coffee.
The problem is that the service is rarely 5 star level on the checkout side. There is always some confused bastard holding up the line. I have waited 30 minutes to purchase coffee at this location! I wanted to tear my hair out. So in short, I think they need to tweak their system a little so that people do not feel as though they are being held hostage to get their caffeine.

Kinda awesome that this is here at the Century City Shopping malls. This is one of two of these «shops» in the area that have pods and tastings. One is in Beverly hills (that one is a café as well). This is the other locations — a small kiosk inside Bloomingdales. Even though they’re in Bloomingdales, they’re still a separate entity.
They were first a lil meh, and not personable — but after a while, with some related questions, they thaw out a bit. Also, as I engaged them with asking how to’s, what are their favorites, etc.
Samples of whatever you’d like to try — with or with out milk, sugar, etc. Every time I’ve been here, I’ve been drinking 2 – 3 shorts :) It’s pretty awesome.

Definitely will be back!!! Please stop using the large sheets of paper as receipts. It’s not good for the environment. I’ve heard it can get super busy at times. I was here on an early evening on Friday. Wasn’t too bad getting some attention from the two ladies who work here,.

Was contacted here and on my personal email regarding the error made with my debit card and the manager was apologetic.
Good customer service as usual… back to five stars, it is.

After purchasing our Nespresso machine from Sur La Table, we ran out of the pods that came with the machine. I wasn’t sure what to expect at the Nespresso inside Bloomingdales in Century City. When we got there, the Nespresso had it’s own little area where they sold other coffee/​espresso machines. Surprisingly there were a handful of customers waiting to purchase more pods and trying to sample other flavors.
The associate that helped us was very friendly and patient. We stood there sampling 6 different pods in either espresso or latte to determine which suites our preference. They use organic milk to make the latte’s and offer several different sugar choices. Great service! I just wish they had better tasting decaf options. None of the decaf choices were even close to my favorite pod (Dalsao). We ended up purchasing several different pods and a set of their latte cups with saucer.
So far we love using our Nespresso for Americano, Latte and Espresso to pour over our famous home made Vanilla bean ice cream! There’s no need to use our other coffee machine since the Nespresso makes GREAT americano! I’m hoping that Nespresso store would open closer to the Pasadena/​DTLA area. Century City or Costa Mesa location is just too far for us!!!
