I love nekter and this place is always super busy. Dealing with students is a tough crowd and the team at here works really hard. Sharon, who I think is the manager does a really nice job even though it can be very hectic.

After reading those negative reviews, I think their service has been improved a lot. The stuffs are so nice to me. As for the wait time, it depends on when you go, but I never wait for like over 30mins. The longest time I waited was around 10−15mins during peak hours. The fruits in the bowl are well presented and even. All of their drinks and bowls are delicious! PB bowl is my favorite. I’ve been addicted to go there every week. I hope they will offer stamp card!

NEKTAR is a place where they know your name. I go to NEKTAR a couple times a week and am always greeted with a smile. Operations have improved greatly and have become much more efficient during heavy traffic hours. Although it can become quite hectic, the staff is always working to the best of their ability. I always leave in a good mood. The«Glow» is where it’s at ;)

I’ve been going to this Nekter in the Shop Café since September of 2014 on a weekly(practically daily basis) basis, and I absolutely love it. The acai bowls are delicious, the juices are refreshing, and the smoothies are full of fruity goodness. My favorites are the Trojan bowl and the Pb bowl. The service is really fantastic. All of the workers are very friendly and greet me when I come in. You can see the workers preparing the food, and it’s easy to tell that the workers are always trying to be as efficient as possible. I can understand why there are some negative reviews. When I first started going, the wait time was pretty long, and my orders were inconsistent each time I went, but I continued going because acai bowls are pretty addicting! Over time the service has improved drastically; you can be in and out in less than 5 – 10 minutes as long as it’s not peak hours(12 – 2 pm). The orders are much more consistent now. This is definitely one of the best places to eat on campus. A healthy and tasty treat!

I spend most of my dining dollars here, and from my experience, the wait’s not too bad! The wait does depend on when you go, but even at times when I went around lunchtime and got an acai bowl or a pitaya bowl, I didn’t wait that long(max 5min?) and this is even without using Tapingo. Popeye’s Acai Smoothie — was a lot green than I thought it would be. Thick, smooth, and nutty, and wasn’t too sweet. But couldn’t taste much of the acai – rather than fruity, it was more nutty and banana-y. Acai Bowl & Pitaya bowl — the toppings get be a hit or a miss, I’ve gotten ones that were instagram-worthy and ones that kind of skimped on the fruits. I personally like the pitaya bowl(dragonfruit) over the acai bowl, but they’re both good. The Cure Juice — it looks gross(muddy brown) and tasted gross and like medicine. I couldn’t finish it. I wouldn’t get the juices here, a smoothie if you’re looking for something light, but highly recommend the acai or pitaya bowls. Overall, glad Nekter’s at USC! ^^ Just one suggestion – wish the bowls or smoothies were customizable like other Nektar locations!

My favorite part about Nekter is that the employees are so kind and helpful! I’m a USC student and I really appreciate that they are willing to collaborate with me for my student group needs. The price point for the juices, smoothies and acai bowls are much cheaper than what you’d normally expect from a LA location. It’s more affordable for students.

I don’t really know why this place got such low ratings. I’m not a frequent Nekter-goer but every time I go, I have had an amazing experience! The date nut smoothie is amazing, too bad it’s like 700+ calories… I love pink flamingo and this other berry smoothie that’s basically a acai bowl drink :3

Went to this shithole tonight to give them a second chance and of course they are closed an hour before closing. They say it’s for Thanksgiving hours but USC’s website clearly states this is not the case(also… Us students are still required to attend classes today and tomorrow). The people who work here are LAZY, and if Nekter remotely cares about their business, they will clean house ASAP.

Not the same quality as your regular shop. This one on campus is definitely convenient but not up to par. The drinks are too thick. The acai bowl is uneven in ingredients.

Really was my first time going to a juice bar but I have had a smoothie before and this one wasn’t all that special. I didn’t wait too long for my drink as everyone says they did, but the service wasn’t great. I think I got the berry blast? Anyways it was a thin smoothie maybe some people like that.

I hate their juices and smoothies. straight up. EVEEYONEWHOWORKSHEREISSOFREAKINGSLOW. THEREWASNOLINEINFRONTOFME. and it still took me 30 minutes to get my pitaya bowl. which was good. but only after you mix it. otherwise, it’s very bland. do yourself a favor and walk to the amzebowl truck if you can

I want to love Nekter. Having a juice bar on campus was so great and convenient, but this place needs to get their shit together. — Inconsistent products. I thought i hated the acai bowl on first try, but after coming back a few times it got better. Also, this is really nit-picky but the fruit used to be arranged so nicely on the top. Now it’s just a hodge-podge of ingredients. — The long wait. It’s actually ridiculous how long you have to wait if you come to the store and didn’t use Tapingo. On that note, I highly recommend using Tapingo when ordering from here, but even if you do your order will still take longer than the predicted time. Don’t come here if you are in a rush to get to class. — At $ 7 a pop, the prices of the bowls here are sooo good. They’re huge and definitely serves as a meal replacement. My favorite thing to get here is the Pitaya bowl! In theory, having a Nekter on campus was an awesome idea but hopefully they improve the operations to accommodate the large volume of students.

Juice bars… How did I not find you sooner? I’m absolutely hooked. Nekter opened up this past spring semester adjacent to the architecture and arts school at USC replacing the previous coffee shop. Be warned though, the line is always out the door unless you’re lucky and come at the perfect time with no line. After going there literally every day, I’ve figured out the best times to go. I usually only get the juices but when you go be aware that you may have to wait a long time to get your juice — at one point, I waited 30 minutes. My favorites are the Cure, Greenie, and Glow. They also have smoothies, acai bowls, wheatgrass/ginger shots, coffee, and some food. The acai bowls are fantastic too but my favorite is the Trojan Bowl with the added kale/spinach, the PB bowl is a little too peanut buttery for me even for someone that loves it. One thing about this Nekter I do want to comment about is the elimination of the 48 oz drink size. I used to order this size all the time as I did a juice cleanse and it kept me going for the day. After about 3 – 4 weeks of its opening, they stopped serving the 48 oz! My guess is that it takes a long time for the juicer to make something of this large quantity. Also, try to not get ice as they just try to drown the drink with a ton of ice. If it’s your first time having freshly pressed juice, start off with ice and ease into it. It is a little expensive per drink, and I was spending way too much money here. It would be great if they had some sort of rewards card, so that regular customers can get something free after X times.

Fav: trojan bowl and detox juices. The long wait its the only con, but otherwise I love everything about Nekter. It truly makes you full with the less of calories.

I first visited when they just opened on campus. The acai bowl I ordered was great and I got excited because there’s not a lot of places that serve acai bowls near USC. I came back after a few weeks and ordered the same thing but the acai bowl I got shrunk tremendously(about 50%). I also found a bar of frozen acai in my bowl. I am shocked that their quality went downhill so fast and I would not come back again. This place is not worth the hassle. Did I mention it takes 20 – 40 minutes to get your order?

What’s going on Nekter?! Glad to have you here on campus, but come on! Not only was service subpar, but their juices and bowls in this location are the worst. I go to Nekter often, but only recently did I find out that there was one on campus. Excited, I rushed over to get my usual Pitaya Bowl only to be disappointed. Pitaya Bowl: — waay too sweet — granola tasted stale — I found a chunk of pineapple on the bottom of the bowl? Surprise, I guess? Didn’t even finish the thing. Threw it away after barely finishing a ¼ of it. siiiighh.

I had just finished a midterm and decided to reward myself with a trip to NEKTER!!! I had heard so many good things about this juice bar but just never got around to trying it… so, I dug out my trusty iPhone and ordered my first green juice ever on Tapingo. First of all, I didn’t get my drink until 40ish minutes AFTER the Tapingo app said that it would be ready. When I went to go pick it up, I’m pretty sure they were embarrassed that they had lost my order twice(I reminded them of my order the first time I stopped by to pick up my drink, and they STILL didn’t have it ready on time) and just made me a juice on the spot and scrawled my name onto the cup. It literally took them 2 minutes to make me the fresh juice. WHYDID I HAVETOWAIT40. Then, when I finally tasted the juice, it was indescribably disgusting. The ginger flavor assaulted my taste buds and left me for dead. And then came the lemon… and celery(???) It brought back memories of the time I first tried Kombucha and had to pretend like I liked it even though it tasted like vile alcoholic sour sewer water with seeds. Maybe I was never destined to be trendy and healthy. Lord have mercy on me.

Worst service. I placed an order on tapingo at 11:22 and got my order at 12:07. I didn’t think ordering this much in advance would make me late to class, but it did. I am appalled. They didn’t even offer any kind of way to make up for their error. when I finally did receive my bowl(after reordering) I got a shit colored soupy mess that still had huge chunks of frozen strawberries and bananas, and pieces of leaves since I got the greenie style. I also paid extra for the berries but I got like 3. People are running around with their heads cut off behind the counter and the cashier walks away from the register when there’s a huge line. On top of that, the white girl with black hair is so rude.

Good acai bowls, but pricey. Don’t get The Cure drink. It tastes like liquid celery.

Nekter has come to USC! You have no idea how excited I am. I LOVE green juices and smoothies, and I’ve gone out of my way to venture to the Nekter location in West Hollywood just to try their goods. But now that they’re nestled on campus in the architecture school(Harris Hall), I don’t have to bust a mission to get my weekly dose of liquified fruits and veggies. I personally like the Toxin Flush(parsley, spinach, apples, lemon, and ginger) for when I feel like I’ve had waaay too much junk food. Gotta get those toxins out! If I’ve been good, then I order the Tropical Cooler(spinach, kale, pineapple, banana, coconut butter, and coconut water). Usually, I drink these in place of a meal, but I end up eating something an hour anyway because green juices don’t keep me full… Also, Nekter juices are relatively cheap compared to green juices from other places! My 16 oz Toxin Flush was only $ 4.75, and a 24 oz would have cost me only $ 6.75. I can already see myself blowing a significant amount from my paychecks here… Take a break from Starbucks and pay the architecture school a visit!
