Worst experience ever. When i called the service center a lady answered and told me that they could have a technician right over. She told me the service fee would be $ 29 and the technicians services would start at $ 25. The technician arrived and tells me the service fee would be $ 35 and that his services would be $ 169. Although i knew he was gouging me I just really wanted to get back into my apartment so i signed his receipt so he could get started. After 30 minutes he had managed nothing more than to bend the keyhole. Fearing he would just damage my lock further (which I would have to reimburse my landlord for) I asked him to stop. While i was willing to compensate the technician for coming out to my apartment, there was no way I was going to pay the full amount of the receipt when he couldn’t open my door. Keep in mind that a previous locksmith was able to open that same lock in under 3 minutes. When I called the office to try to resolve my issues with the technician I was greeted by the same woman who had first answered my phone call. I explained the situation to her in regards to the discrepancy in price between what she had quoted me at and what her technician was trying to charge as well as the fact that her technician was unable to open my lock and was causing damage to my lock. She responded by telling me that the service charge jumps to $ 35 dollar when the technician arrives after 12 (my phone records show that I called their office at 11:15 and that their technician arrived at 11:50). She went on to say that I had to pay the technician everything on the receipt because he would have eventually opened the lock (it seemed highly doubtful that he would with causing serious damage to my lock). She also said damaging the lock when you pick it is inevitable (also a lie as the very same lock was picked previously without any damage).
To sum up never use these guys as they are absolutely terrible, use them at your own peril. I only wish the locksmith I used previously was open later so I wouldn’t have ever had to call these people and ho through this ordeal.
