I’ve been meaning to get to the produce market, but always don’t make it in time. I believe they close at 2 pm.
Across the way is Navarro, right at Mercado Olympic. I’ve been by a couple times to by fruits and this last time, I finally made it to the party supply area. I was able to buy a couple Mexican candies, one particular from Guanjuato and the other tamarind on a stick for Latin-​inspired cocktails I will be experimenting with at home. Great variety of piñata fillers!
Highly recommended for inexpensive fruits. I was able to buy passionfruit, super sweet papaya, crisp grapes, and plums on my last trip. The other trip, I bought a case of gorgeous and sweet Manila (Ataulfo) mangoes.

They have mangos, watermelons, strawberries, grapes, melons, all kinds of fruits, mexican candy, big packs of toilet paper lol
Where does this fruit come from? Guy working there said Miami. So there you go! If you want fruit from miami come on down to Navarro Produce lol
Prices are fair. Here of course your able to negotiate the prices down. But with places like fresh and easy and other major stores offering great prices as well, it might come out to nearly the same.
Oh yea they also have pinatas and party supplies.
