I used to love their «barely blushing» stain but they no longer make it. I still love the black eye pencil and went to the website recently to buy one. I got seduced by the skin and eye primer and also loaded more colors of eye pencil amongst other goodies into my cart. When I went through to the checkout the prices were all higher than advertised. I thought it was tax, but then tax was added on top of that. I called to ask about it before completing my purchase but my call wasn’t answered. I left a message explaining and asking someone to call me back but no one ever did! So they not only lost a sale but have now received a not so great review. Boo.

Had the Gilt City deal for a makeup consultation/​application and $ 60 in merchandise credit. This is a fabulous deal and I highly recommend purchasing it should it be offered again.
Making an appointment was easy — so was re-​scheduling when I had to do that. Parking in that part of Hollywood can be a pain so go early.
The store is so clean and inviting and the lovely young woman that did my makeup was not only talented, but friendly and engaging. Not once did I feel pressured to purchase products even though that was part of the whole deal and I had the merch credit. Instead, she answered my questions and explained the techniques she was using to do the makeup application.
I loved the way she did my makeup — perfectly suited to the occasion I had booked the appointment for. And I’m very happy with all of the cosmetics I purchased after the makeover was done.
I highly recommend this place and I plan to come back to have makeup done whenever I have an event. Superb!
