Nagila Kosher Pizza & Salads

This was my first time here. I ordered a couple of slices and paid with my credit card. I then realized that i wanted a sauce on the side and they wanted to charge me 50 cents. So I looked in my pocket and I only had 40 cents. I told them i would give them the 40 cents that i had in my pocket and they still said no. I was disgusted in there service, first who charges for sauces second who charges a credit card for 10cents. Avoid this place!

today i ordered a medium pizza its was ok but the person that made the dough shaped to a round pizza he was dirty he used dirty used gloves that he touched everywhere on phone then cash register he used pen to write with maybe and when i got home i throw up that was disgusting
When i go to costco and eat their cheese pizza they are clean every 10 minutes they change their gloves i dont know why israeli people are so cheap no offense

Had their pizza several times — and every time it was a HORRIBLE experience !!!
1. Pizza ordered: mixed up the toppings and refused to replace.
2. Ordered several slices at the place: found hair in the pizza. When we notified the manager he practically yelled at us and insulted us.
3. Pizza ordered: got food poisoning. Everyone who ate from that pizza had horrible stomach aches and B/​M.
can go on and describe a few more incidents. they are located a block away from us but we rather order from Shalom Pizza or Pizza station to get quality pizza with good service.
We ban this pizza place.

I don’t know where to begin. If you’re looking for a piece of heaven on earth, then it’s at the corner of Pico & Rexford. Nagila has hands down the best kosher pizza I’ve had down the entire Pico strip. Their bread and crust is soft, yet crunchy. The cheese is abundant warm and gooey. The sauce is amazing. They have the most amazing stuffed crust pizza (4.35 a slice) that I have ever had. Chicago style pizza (sold only on weekends, so be sure to stop by!) and their buffalo specialty pizzas are to die for. I definitely recommend their nachos and garlic bread sides and falafel plates.
They work fast and efficiently and really have the line going. Food is brought to your table quickly and it’s a clean and nice environment featuring an outdoor area which heaters for cold days and a cabana style roof in case it rains. The walls are even painted like a beautiful garden, it’s a very nice place to sit.
They have a few quarter-​game machines in the back for children that is pretty nice.
And the best thing yet, right next door is their Nagila meat side which has amazing shawarma and burgers.
The only problem really is that parking is a bummer. They only have space for about 4 – 5 cars in the back which is like always taken anytime anyway. Street parking meds permits or if you get lucky you’ll find a meter spot a block or two away. I guess it’s a decent little workout walk given you’re about to have a pizza or burger meal.
Overall, everyone should give it a go! It’s really happening there on Saturday nights, it’s a delicious social hangout!

Good food but the service is absolutely awful. The workers are rude and you can wait twenty minutes before they will even take your order. Unfortunately they have no competition in this price range so I keep going back even though I think it is totally mismanaged and the service is about as bad as it can get.

Great service and great people running the place. Everything is just so perfect about the pizza. The dough the vegetables and especially the cheese. They also have amazing falafel. Great Israeli style place.
They also have a meat section next door with a great shawarma on laffa bread. Love that place!
This place will forever be my favorite pizza place.

Not bad, if you don’t mind waiting for cold pizza. The only time this place is busy is right after shabbat. Because it has a great location, and is almost always open people flock to it. However, if you are an adult, who would like to enjoy their food based on quality, stay far away. Sauce is bad, really bad. My pizza slice was cold, not once, or twice but 3x. One time I mentioned it, they put it in the oven, over cooked is how it was returned.
The service is terrible. It seems like a couple of guys just chatting, they lose focus constantly and forget there are customers.
The one star is because its still edible, and they didn’t appear to have a sanitation issue.

Pizza, not a fan. The sauce lacks flavor. Service is horrible. Everyone cuts in line.

I’ve only ate the pizza here and it’s really good! I’ve ate many non kosher pizza places before and and this place def top fave in la. Taste very homey and fresh

BEST PIZZA EVER. I’ve been coming here with my family since I was a little kid. When I was in the Middle East recently, every time I went out for a slice of pizza I’d just think about having a slice of Nagila’s awesome stuffed crust pizza. Glad to see the menu has expanded.
No pizza shop I have ever eaten at has beaten Nagila’s soft warm dough and ratio of cheese on pizza. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Oh, and the Falafel is great too.

We got a Really bad attitude from the lady working there and faces and acting like we did something because we just got in and wanted to see what on the menu
Then when we trying to order she got even more upset and started screaming at us after asking if we did something wrong

Great restaurant. Excellent service. The kabob burger truly melts in your mouth and the salads are also great. I definitely recommended this place.

After I pick up my stuffed crust pizza, it’s all I can do to get home without devouring a slice on the way home. I haven’t been successful yet

Worst customer service ever. They delivered a burned pie. The manager would not accept on the phone that it was burned. He yelled at me on the phone instead of apologizing he said we don’t need your business. He wanted to charge $ 4 to pick up the burned pie as return. We had seen burned pizza pies from this place before. Therefore, when we ordered this time, we specifically asked that they make sure it won’t get burned. One star is too much for what we just experienced with them. This neighborhood needs a good quality pizza store with good customer service.

My family and I decided to go to Nagila one night before Passover
After waiting in line for half hour
They told us they were out dough
So why stay open
Just close the restaurant
If you decide to stay open accommodate your customers and make more dough
Ridiculous
Did I mention the owner is very rude

So far the best falafel sandwich I have had.
The whole one is too much for me so I get the half. Haven’t tried anything else.

I guess greasy oily pizza is popular when it’s Kosher. ‘OMG, this is the best pizza I EVER had’! Huh! Have u ever had any other pizza other than Dominos? I guess it’s a great pizza spot for cheap people.
Expect one of the worst customer service if u’re not a Kosher eater ;)
All the pizzas tasted almost same to me & some of them were really bad. Thought the place would be great after reading the reviews, but should’ve known, people leaves good comments about their fellow-​man business place. I’d think about Dominos or maybe even Little Caesars, but not this one
