So I always see My Fit Foods cause I go to the Starbucks almost every single day: P! Bad addiction! Lol. Anyways, I finally gave them a call just to see what they were all about and I spoke to someone who was super friendly and nice. I intended on going there that morning, but Starbucks took too long and I was going to be late for work if I stopped in so I opted to just drive over when I took a break from work. I bought the Ninja Beef meal and the Almond Crusted Chicken! OMG delicious! Honestly, I don’t eat much because I take adderall for my ADD which I told the girl on the phone cause I had asked what an average weekly bill would be and she had explained most women do 2 – 3 meals a day with 2 snacks, but I told her I eat 1−2x a day. I know it’s not super healthy, but even those meals I have to force myself to eat. She completely related to that as she has a family member who has ADD and manages through medication and said it was the same with that family member. :) — I’m sorry I don’t remember your name :( I really appreciated that. Most people don’t really get it and also most people think if you take adderall you are some kind of druggie lol! So a little background about me — I was 160Lbs back in February and since I joined my current job I joined 24 hour fitness and work out 4−5x a week and have really re-formatted my diet. All my coworkers are health conscious so I wanted to be too. However, I work A LOT! Understatement of the year! Lol. I also HATE cooking so instant food is my best friend. I’ve basically been living off store bought salads, but lettuce gets old after awhile. And I’m not saying I clean eat 100% of the time either. I indulge, in moderation! I am now 139Lbs woot! 21Lbs lost so far! I am beyond happy with how I look and am now just focusing on toning up(though at my skinniest I was 120Lbs, but I look great at 139 – 140, healthy even!). I’ve even lost 2 pant sizes! Woo woo! I generally drink water with Plexus Slim(I just like the taste and hate plain water minus when I’m working out) and my Starbucks go to is a Strawberry Acai Refresher(I keep it semi healthy: P lol), I tried the blueberry Kombucha when I got my food too! I really enjoyed everything I got! I ate the ninja beef thing yesterday and the chicken today and I saw reviews where the food was dry or didn’t taste right, but I did NOT have that experience. My food was great even heated in the microwave and I think I have officially found my new«grocery» store lol! I really like that it is on my way to work. I do plan on taking advantage of the nutritional coach when I have some time to schedule it and hopefully figuring out a way to still eat well enough to aid in my bodies toning while also addressing my inability to eat that much. I like the Kombucha! My weakness is root beer! I love root beer! So I think kombucha will definitely be my soda replacement! And sorry, I like my social drinking! I’m not giving it up without a fight: P Lol! I really look forward to seeing the changes that a proper diet brings. I am very well-versed in understanding that diet is a huge key player in shaping your body — for better or for worse. Thanks so much guys! I will see you soon!

Decent place if you want to count nutrition info. Some things have way too much salt, like the cauliflower mash. There is one woman that works there who is helpful and sweet, the rest are pretentious assholes.

Manager was extremely rude to me and i walked in very skeptical anyway and left with no food and very unhappy. None of the food looked good what soever. I feel as if the selection was limited on different things and not much variety. I just wont be going back there because i wasn’t impressed with the service or the weird food.

Obsessed! Great idea! Love the service team! Love the product. The cauliflower mash is off the hook! Don’t get the Besto Pesto… Not good … But I love the fit nugget meal with a passion… Corn Chowder… is awesome. I’m a single lady who has little time and no care to calorie count. My fitness pal app does it for me… Just scan the bar code… I lost 5 pounds this week. Go to Costco and buy the gift cards $ 80 for $ 100!

Updated review** So Carly, asked for me to email to get more info, and too see«how they can make it better» but she failed to reply to my email. Not just one email but two emails. Horrible customer service! If I could give them a –5 stars I would… Just had their besto pesto lunch meal, and I literally threw up within 5 min of eating the meal. I feel disgusting right now! Horrible first experience eating this.

Great customer service! Everyone there was very nice and helpful and explained the meals and availability in full. Meals were actually pretty good and I dropped 2LBS in one week! I will definitely continue on there. only minus is its a bit pricey.

The food is good most of the time. It is very overpriced. It’s also hard to justify when the food is not organic and it is undisclosed on how the meat is raised. I also have an issue with the prices on their website. Everything is cheaper online, and marked up $ 1 – 2 in the store. The employees are not willing to anything or at least supply an answer to the price dicrepancy.

This place is great if you have money. I mean a lot of it. I came in to get a lunch and it was yummy. But you figure the more you want to come and buy breakfast lunch and dinner you will need around 50 dollars a day. They do have someone who can set you up on a plan per month but it’s like 700 dollars. I’d rather make my own food.

My Fit Foods in my dream come true. I eat clean a diet, but needed a portion control program to loose a few pounds. I couldn’t find that anywhere until now. I’m so excited about this place. I ate my first meals today and they’ve been pretty good so far. I just enjoyed the raw dark chocolate truffles for my snack and they are to die for! Also, the customer service is top notch. A big shout out to Taylor who is super personable, helpful and knowledgeable.

This place is so amazing — the food is all fresh(never frozen) and portion controlled with two sizes. The large size is around 550 calories and the small size is around 350 calories. It makes it so easy to eat healthy and/or diet, depending on your needs. The staff is really nice and helpful as well. Also a tip — if you’re buying meals to eat the same day, they will give you 25% off anything with a sell-by date of that day. It makes it quite affordable!

So far, I love this place. They had an end of the year sale where if you bought a $ 30 gift card, you got a free meal. They also had 50% off the meals. I was afraid to buy too many meals after reading the reviews, so I took home 4 meals. I love all the meals that I have tried… I tried the Autumn Catch, Tenderloin Ninja, and pork loin squash. All were very tasty and healthy. I went in order eating the first sell by date. They seemed fresh even after eating the Autumn Catch a day after the sell by date. Maybe it depends on the dish? I did not have a problem with anything getting slimy. The only thing that would make me happier is if they had more options for less carb meals. Their dinners have less carbs, but I wish that there would be more options for breakfast or lunch. Or, maybe more options that included wheat instead of white tortilla on their wraps or tortillas, sweet potato instead of potatoes, or brown rice instead of rice… I will definitely be back and I am looking forward to eating my last meal that I bought on Thursday, the fit nugget nation.

I am very very excited about this place — I just discovered it yesterday by accident. They have tons of food between 300 and 400 cal that are all delicious and fresh and real food — one thing to be on the lookout for there seems to be — and this is really an unforgivable sin that I hope they correct immediately — there seems to be an impressive massive malfunction with the printer so that every food item I was looking at claim to be 100 and change in terms of calories — only after finishing my meal that I learned that it was over 300 cal and nobody really stepped up to correct it like offering my me my money back or anything like that. That is a tremendous problem that they need to fix immediately — it’s not a small problem people are coming in there for certain calorie meals and you can have a printer miss printing everything wholemeal as 150 cal — it’s unacceptable. All that said the potential of this place in my life is tremendous and I will check back with them in a few days and as long as the printer issue with fixed I plan on revising this review to give them five stars because if it is what it says it is it’s a fantastic place and I’m going to be going there quite a bit and by the way the food that I ate was fantastic and only 320 cal and really hit the spot. But this calorie issue and the printing issue and the fact that there was nobody really around that help me once things got sticky is a concern so it could’ve just been an off day I will go back there in a few days and I will update my review accordingly and if it just turned out that was a bad day I will take all the negative stuff down. After looking at more reviews I see that there is some kind of potential problem with the staff — I kind of felt like that when I went in that it was some kind of weird private party in that they were not really engaging with the customer and felt very alone — they’re also seem to be not great knowledge about what was happening in there — in fact when they microwaved my turkey thing they left the lemon wedges in which I suppose a lemon wedges were there to squeeze into the meal not to burn my fingers as they came out of the microwave so I would say it’s an A+ idea right now with a B– execution. I still think it’s a great idea so I would love to go there more as a healthy option and maybe grab a few of those meals although would be nice to know what the dates are and if they’re accurate — but this is definitely an improvement on most places around here when you can’t get healthy meals so I’m looking forward to continuing to go in and see if I have a better experience next time and I will update accordingly.

Really don’t rate this over priced place. Sure I understand that someone else has cooked and prep’d all the food so you are bound to pay a premium but at least make the food taste nice! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the store is clean and has microwaves available for you to use. The food itself was dry and bland and really not worth the money. I think ill just stick to prepping my own meals again, much cheaper and tastes so much better

Food is ok so far just have one complaint. I placed an online order that from what I understand guarantees that the food is fresh first least 3 – 5 days correct? Went to pick up my order yesterday which is the 29th. Two of the three items didn’t expire till the 3rd which was great. Then the Thai lettuce wraps had an expiration date of the 31th which is tmw. I asked the women and she said that my order was made to order. BS! She basically took the food from the fridge. I know this because I checked the remaining item they had and it had the same expiration date. I opened it last night and tossed it because it was slimy and smelled funky. I would appreciate more honesty with clients. Why go thru the trouble of ordering something online when you can just pick up old food from the store.

I am someone who doesn’t like to cook and therefore I eat out all the time. Unfortunately, I don’t always make the right choices. That all changed when I found My Fit Foods. Their food is healthy and in good portions. I usually order two weeks’ worth of food and freeze them. It is really hassle-free. The chicken gumbo is exceptionally good! In addition, the meals are reasonably priced. The lunches and dinners range from approximately $ 7-$ 14. This is usually how much it costs me for a typical meal at my work’s cafeteria or at a fast food restaurant. Therefore, it makes sense paying for a healthy meal instead of a greasy meal at roughly the same price. I did run into an incident where there was a problem with my online order, but the manager went out of her way to correct the situation. She handled the problem quickly and with great customer service. The Sherman Oaks location is great! I have looked at other food services and what I like about My Fit Foods is that they are a la carte. For the other meal programs you have to order breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. From a business perspective I can understand why they do that but it doesn’t work for me. I need to order select meals and My Fit Foods lets me do that. Overall, if you don’t like to cook and want to order nutritious foods, look no further than My Fit Foods.

I am so thrilled about this place! With our food choices dwindling further and further down the path of cheap and junky food, this place stands alone. It is the only place on the boulevard that I can eat lunch, and feel human while I do it. The meals are simple, yet fancy, in the way of presentation, and the quality of ingredients. And you don’t have to spend your whole rent check just to eat here. I am thinking of getting on the monthly plan for me and my family, so we can begin to eat real food again. That part is a little expensive, but I really want to make this fit into my budget! Love this place. Keep it up!

I like the food. Find it a little expensive, but, I expect it to be fresh and stay fresh. You’re paying to get the right portion size and calorie count. They tell 6ou not to buy more than 3 – 4 days worth of food. There is a «sell by» date on the container. It should say«consume by» There have been several times I ordered a meal only to have to go bad before I ate it. You mention it to the staff and they tell you some food doesn’t last as long and you should eat those first. Of course they didn’t tell you that when your ordered it. Still, it is there«sell by» date. I my food was slimy the day before. If I buy meals on friday they should last until Monday if they say they’re good to sell until Tuesday. Concept is good, but I’m grossed out. It may be a while before I go back. Staff is friendly, but worthless. I have never received an apology.

If you’re short on time and trying to eat healthy, this is the place to go! Yes, it costs more than the normal high-fat, high-calorie fast food, but you’re getting fresh, healthy foods that are super filling and really tasty with easily trackable nutrition information. I’ve been getting take out here for about 6 months, but what prompted this review was Lissette. I stopped by MFF last night a little before 9 pm. They close at 8, but I saw someone inside. I knocked on the door and she said they were closed, but she must have seen the desperate look on my face and she let me in to purchase my breakfast for today. SO nice to have an employee who is willing to bend the rules a bit to provide great customer service. Thanks, Lisette. p. s. I agree with the reviewer who suggested a price break for the 21-day challenge. There’s no incentive to sign up and commit to the program when you pay full a la carte pricing for everything. Might as well do it day by day and skip days if you have meal conflicts.

The concept of this place is great — convenient, fast, healthy meals on-demand. I’ve had several of the meals from here and find them to be decently tasty and good options when I need on-the-go lunches or dinners. I’ve definitely been waiting a while for something like this to pop up. At first glance, the prices don’t seem that bad per meal — but when you’re stocking up on 5 or 6 lunches for the week, you realize you’ve just spent over $ 50-$ 60. For lunch. That’s over $ 200 a month if you’re doing it every week, and that’s just for one meal a day. For mass-produced meals in plastic containers, that’s a Lot. Regardless if they’re fresh, healthy, vegan, blah blah blah. That’s just too much for a person that could easily substitute with Lean Cuisine or something else that’s equally cheap and healthy. This is Los Angeles. Healthy, cheap meals are around every corner. You’re paying $ 8-$ 14 for a «takeout» meal that’s essentially a box-lunch to go, at pretty much the same price you could get takeout from a real restaurant.(Hello: Chop Stop, Tender Greens, Lemonade, Cal Chick Café). I think this simple fact is going to be a real killer for My Fit Foods.(And I say«real» restaurant because make no mistake — MFF is not a «real» restaurant — the foods are made offsite, aren’t customizable, and are trucked in to the stores). Even still, I will patronize MFF every now and then. My schedule and complete laziness for cooking paired with my complex to always eat healthy and lose weight, I would think makes me their perfect target customer. So I looked into their 21 day challenge, and found the overall prices completely ridiculous. They offer Zero incentives or specials for individuals looking to incorporate MFF more into their lifestyles — you’re still basically paying a la carte per meal — which I have a HUGE problem with. What’s the point? How could I ever, ever justify paying over $ 600 a month for meals, some of which I probably wouldn’t even eat? That’s like a third of my rent. Ridiculous. And anyone who wouldn’t bat an eye at the price because it’s nothing to them are probably already subscribers to high-end meal delivery services like Zone or Paleta. Places like Hello Fresh offer 3 meals a day for $ 60 a week — and they deliver to your door. Lots of competition out there, folks. Offering discount packages for customers that would like to purchase more meals at a time would make a big difference for this place. Why can’t they offer even a 5-day lunch package special etc? It just doesn’t make sense. Give me an incentive to be a more frequent customer and I would, otherwise I just don’t see how it’s worth patronizing any more than just once in a while.

The Service: Spoke to Ashley who is the nutritionist at the store. She is so knowledgeable and informative. She explains to me the concept of the store and the great advise how to eat healthy. The Food: Gimme More Chicken Wrap — Finely chopped chicken breast, Greet yogurt, a touch of real mayonnaise, chopped celery, dried cranberries and tarragon wrapped in a spinach wrap. The chicken is tender. Great texture. The sauce is creamy and delicious! Buffalo Chicken Wrap — Spicy chicken breast wrapped in tortilla with cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce and a touch of blue cheese. Just a little bit taste of spicy and it definitely wakes up my taste bud! Once I have one, I am craving for another one~ The price is very affordable and reasonable. All the food are prepared fresh everyday. Great place to eat if I want to eat healthy food or when I don’t feel like cooking at home. :)
