I guess it was the last time I came to this place. New policy, I cant seat in a big table to study my books even if it is real slooooow there and there were a lot of free tables. I didn’t say anything to the waitress, because for sure it’s not her decision, but It was not friendly to the regular customer!

Love the décor and atmosphere. The staff is very nice. Open late! We shared their bingsoo. So good! And they serve probably the best decaf coffee ever. Very fun. I’ll go back.

The waffle was actually pretty good and that’s the only positive thing I can say about this place. I seriously wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt that the service was decent from that Asian girl with the glasses cause I read bad reviews. But nooo way !!! Omgoshhh the other review were true. I mean my party made it an hassle about moving seat to seat because we were trying to get comfortable. But she did not bother to come assist us. Then we settle and it took her like 15 minutes to give us a menu. Another extra 20 minutes to come take our order. I don’t mind waiting but her overall attitude or body language was like an ‘uh no’. Then the«manager» finally came over to take our order. I say his attitude was so more inviting and definitely more pleasant! He was more helpful in our questions(he was really honest that their dessert is from Portos) ahha that’s was good to know. So because that girl killed my vibe I opt out getting a drink and decide to satisfy my hunger instead. Got the waffle, it was different it wasn’t Bready? More Mooochi texture to it. But I actually liked it and didn’t have to put the syrup it was good plain(: my party who got the drink the watermelon slush they took a sip and that was all they took, as you can tell that wasn’t good and the other got oolong tea which was in a small mason jar and just any other oolong tea that costs $ 4 something? other than that was the only good about this place was the waffle and there was plenty of parking space(or we just got lucky)

Nice place for study and relax with friends. Well arranged table and sofa area. Wifi is good. The minimum for card is $ 10. The cake and coffee tea combo is valuable. One of the late opening café till 3am.

The atmosphere of this place is so cute — well decorated and well lit. A great place to hang out and cater to your sweet tooth with a wide selection of desserts– cakes, macarons, coffee, ice cream, crepes. It’s definitely on the pricier side of things in Koreatown, but a good pit stop to chill and meet up with people. Parking lot in the plaza and it’s definitely pretty crowded at night. Staff is very friendly and there is a $ 10 minimum to use card. Order: early grey macaron — very flavorful, exactly the taste of Earl grey tea Vanilla latte — pretty standard with latte art Napoleon — quite yummy and large Brownie sundae — quite big, couldn’t finish! Wish the ice cream was better quality

This place is awesome. It it is so cozy I could literally take a nap on their couches and chairs. The coffee they make here is excellent and they offer tons of options for beverages. Also get the crepes! They’re yummy :)

Late night café open til 4am! So much better than Starbucks especially if you are trying to pull a semi all nighter or have lots of work to do. Ordered the caramel macchiato which consisted of espresso and thick foam and milk drizzled with caramel. I do really want to try their shaved ice next time. Free wifi, comfortable seating, and chill place to have good conversations.

FUCKTHISPLACE Any business that has a sign that states the really clever«We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone» please do you and them a favor and just walk right out, as I did see twice while I was there(unfortunately) . RUDE service, as stated over and over on below reviews the staff just ignores you SERIOUSLY. I met up classmates as one of them suggested this place. I would never visit this coffee shop again, and love the area and frequently in Koreatown. The seats suck(sofas), music volume was inconsistent(unprofessional). Paid just under ten dollars for a cupcake and 1 cup of coffee, which I was NOT qualified to pay with my debit/credit card, They have a 10 dollar card minimum. Seriously? This is 2016 the parking meter outside takes a CC payment of 50 cents! Anyways back to Mr. Coffee way too over priced for their 1991 Ikea environment and mediocre coffee/pastry. Asian skinny tall worker with thick framed glasses made me and my classmates feel unwanted with their lack, lack, lack of service as we couldn’t help but take it personal maybe had something to do with us not being Korean? We ordered a cup of waters after buying over priced food and we were served 10oz foam cups of water, seriously? After all that wack nonsense I still left a tip. Won’t sink to your level Mr. Coffee, smell you later!

Not a good place to study if you need wifi. Service was good, but very slow. Nice atmosphere, but again the wifi killed it for me. I had their green tea latte(hot) which was yummy.

I love this quaint little space. It’s a great study place. OPENLATE! It’s pretty to be inside. Located in K-town. Parking is really tough, but thankfully when we went a spot opened up. Pray for parking… Seriously. The valet is a bit shady. Late at night the parking attendant came with keys on a platter asking if the keys belonged to the people… Not safe. They play kpop music. It’s not too loud so it’s not hard to study. Seating is limited, so keep an eye out on the table that you want and make sure no one swoops. Their desserts are delicious. We tried the funky monkey: Nutella crêpe with whipped cream, topped with coffee ice cream, bananas, and chocolate drizzle! Very very good.

4 stars for being open late and always having parking available! Perfect for studying! One of the few cafes open till 3am in ktown! I love coming here to study at night because there is always parking and seats available(unlike Tom N Toms which gets crowded af and impossible to find a place to sit). There are outlets only along the walls, which are somewhat limited. But usually I’ll manage to make my way to a wall seat by the time my battery is dying. The seats are super comfortable and lighting is great! However, the drinks are EXPENSIVE. The cheapest drink is $ 5.50 for a basic americano. But I’m willing to pay that much for a drink because I’ll sit there for 3 – 4 hours taking up space and using their wifi to study. Oh and if you can’t handle loud music while studying, don’t come here. They play popular kpop songs and music videos on the TV, which might be distracting for some. Overall, I recommend this spot for studying, but not for anything else due to overpriced menu items.

If it weren’t for the customer service id give this place another star! Walked in around midnight, got seated right away. The female serving us forgot that we were there, we waited patiently as she was serving other tables but it got to the point were we had to ask if she was ready to take our order because she just kept looking at us and passing by us without asking. The frappé came first then our crepes. When our crepes arrived we asked for napkins and she simply pushed forward the ONE napkin that came with our forks and knives. I didn’t want to be rude but We asked for extra napkins for a reason since there was three of us. She simply ignored what I said and walked away. The frappé and crepes were actually pretty good! Some what pricey for little amount of filling they had but over all I liked this place plus they’re open late!

Dear Mr. Coffee, I think I like you. You are open late. You serve a pretty strong espresso. I find parking everytime I go there. You get pretty packed but I never have to fight for a table. Hmm about your staff… well, I will get back to you on that!

I love it here so much. I came a couple days ago to study & it is such a perfect environment inside. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the nicest guy & girl who were working that night. The girl was extremely sweet and I love the rare occasion when I go somewhere & the staff just makes you want to come back! There is plenty of seating & a subtle background of k-pop music playing. I ordered a Korean-Style coffee & coffee macaron & loved both. I can’t wait to come back in the near future. Thank you Mr. Coffee!

My biggest complaint: They don’t take card unless you order more than $ 10? I mean, its easy if you get lunch or a bagel, but as someone who doesn’t like carrying cash around, its a big hassle. I always come here to study, but I usually have to either go to the bank to get cash or come with a friend who has Venmo. Also, there are two different menus? The takeout menu is significantly less pricey than the regular one… — Macarons: they’re good, but I feel like every café around here has the same macarons? Like Café Bene has the same flavors and they look identical. Not sure what’s going on? Either way, my favorites from this café are earl grey, rose, green tea, and red velvet(in that order) –Cheese danish: I liked it. Wasn’t mind-blowing but not bad. –Salmon bagel: So its basically a disassembled salmon bagel with tomato, lettuce, capers, lemon, with thousand island and cream cheese? I’m not sure. Boyfriend seemed to enjoy it. –Tea: its nice to know they use real tea leaves, which come in a super cute cup that has a strainer at the top. You have to lift it before you drink, which can get a little annoying, but still good. Not sure why a scoop of tea leaves with water costs $ 6, but at least you can refill the hot water and drink more tea, since the tea leaves are still usable. All in all, not sure why this place is so overpriced. If it weren’t for their macarons, convenient location, cute interior, and my friend(who is in love with this place), I wouldn’t come back by myself. Parking: Valet parking is free(you can also tip the valet) as long as you go to one of the shops/restaurants in the plaza. However, the person in charge of parking the cars lied and said it costs $ 2, even though the sign at the entrance of the parking lot clearly says that it only costs money if you park in the lot and decide to go somewhere else… shady.

I didn’t feel like going to the library to study so I decided to stop by here to grab some coffee and get some work done. I’m not really a coffee shop and study type of person but every now and then I’ll do it just to break the cycle. Most coffee shops suck as a study environment but Mr. Coffee isn’t too bad. I ordered and iced caramel macchiato. It was solid, nothing to go crazy over. I think next time I’ll try the green tea latte… It can get a little noisy in there so if you come here planning to get some work done, do what I did and bring some noise cancelling headphones. The seating here is fairly cozy and the people that work there are friendly which is always a plus. Overall a nice coffee shop to come and get some work done or just chill.

I like the fact that they open late. My friends and I got the strawberry crêpe and a shaved ice(I don’t remember which one). I was kinda surprised that the desserts we ordered weren’t too sweet. Bonus points because I really dislike eating things that taste like pure sugar. This place has a nice ambience and yep. Pretty cool.
