Move Loot seemed like a good option at first, and submitting furniture through their site was relatively easy. I scheduled a pick up with Walker, and he was accommodating when I had to reschedule at the last minute. My pick up was set vaguely for«Saturday afternoon» which I took to mean sometime between 1−6pm. I waited at home literally all day(from the time I woke up to the time I went to bed), and no one ever showed up. I reached out to Walker via email(since he never provided a contact number) but never received a response. It’s been three days, and no word at all, neither apologizing nor asking to reschedule. They have also recently changed their company’s business model so that you have to keep your furniture until they find a buyer. I can understand this from their perspective — the cost of storing the furniture must be high. But the only reason I went with Move Loot in the first place is because they pick up the furniture, so it’s no longer in my hands. If I wanted to hang on to it until a buyer is found, I would put it on craigslist, which has a stronger user base and is free to both parties. Move Loot is a massive fail, and I would warn any sellers to stay away.

I had a great experience with them today. They are selling some bigger pieces I can’t fit in my new home. The two hour window they quoted me for pick up was exactly when they showed up. They wrapped it and took good care loading into their truck. 2 super nice clean guys who knew a lot about the company and told me exactly where my furniture was heading off to now. I Crossing my fingers they can sell my things. It’s been super easy so far and I recommend them to everyone!

AWFUL… AVOIDATALLCOST When I received my delivery time frame, it was outside of when they were originally supposed to deliver it. When I contacted customer service, they told me it was«too late» to reschedule even though THEY rescheduled my time! When I posed a question back to see if they could accommodate my request as I wasn’t going to be home, they didn’t even bother responding. Hideous customer service. When my dresser was delivered, it was definitely NOT as pictured or described on the website. One drawer was completely broken, the others were missing screws. There were many more scuff marks than pictured. And to return the broken furniture, it costs $ 50! RIPOFF!!! Perhaps the only positive thing was that the movers were nice and helpful. On a side note, I tried listing a new bookshelf online — at first they priced it at $ 150, but then they flip flopped and said they would take it for $ 17, LOL, and after I paid them a $ 20 pick up fee! I might as well leave it on the sidewalk!!!

Tried to sell a chair in new condition and they couldn’t sell. SO you have to pay for them to bring it back or give it to them. Your better off just give your stuff to Salvation Army.

I have tried on 3 seperate occasions to list an expensive leather chair for a «give away price» and after about 4 hours of trying to navigate an extremely difficult web site with no success, and finding no phone number I decided to give up. If I donate my to charity, I can probably get a write off for nearly what I would have gotten, on this site
