Movemo Fitness was not only a challenging, fun, and results-driven boot camp, but taking classes with Kevin really taught me about how to achieve a functional fitness level which has prepared me for all of my exercise endeavors. Each class was different and challenging, but no matter how hard it was, Kevin was such a great motivator and really encouraged us to push ourselves. And with great results! I’m the fittest I’ve ever been and because of the great sessions at Movemo, I’m sure I’ll only get harder, er, stronger.

I can definitely recommend Keila and Kevin’s boot camp. I started with a 2-week special and then continued. After a couple weeks I already started building up better core strength. Having set times for work out got me into a nice routine and I really enjoyed starting the day outside in the park(we always worked out at Griffith Park). Every work out is different: sometimes it involves more power, sometimes the focus is more on cardio and Keila and Kevin design the work also depending on the group’s wishes. If you want to get in shape, be challenged and can commit to the times, give it a try!

So I’ve always been intimidated by Boot Camps, especially in exercise-crazy LA, but Keila and Kevin have created the perfect blend of intense workout + lowkey and fun environment. The two of them have put together a series of strength-building and calorie-busting routines that are varied and fun, and their constant words of encouragement keep you going through that extra set. Best of all, they seem to attract a great group of people, so there’s chatting and joking in between circuits or when the going gets tough. As a bonus, both of them do personal training and some nutrition work, so if you’re looking for a more well-rounded or personal experience, they can work with you on that, too. For an easy entrée into the Boot Camp world, I definitely recommend MoveMo. Plus I know they were offering first week or two free to try them out, not sure if that deal is still going on, and you don’t have to start the first week of a month. Sessions meet T, Th @ 7:30a, Sa @10a, all in Griffith Park in the clearing across from the Greek Theater. Bring a towel or mat.
