Hidden gem of a theatre — outstanding production of the play Proof. Perfect setting for intimate small theatre. Wonderful casting — such emotion! Hopefully it will be extended so more people can enjoy fine job by actors, director, staging, and everyone else that makes this production shine!

We saw Oroof on Superbowl Sunday and I have a few comments: 1. Dont be prejudiced if the neighborhood seems a bit sketchy. It is jsut a little run down but there are two other theatres within a blcok so it is realy not bad. 2. The Theatre itself is kind of funky but quite comfortable with excellent production values and cosy seats. 3. Proof was performed by four actors working a peak performance. There was not a weak performance among them. Each character was clearly delieated and the acting was top notch. 4. The play itself is kind of stagey in a Neil Simon sort of way. You dont find many really big surpriises once the plot gets rolling(well, maybe a couple) but that just makes the acting some much more effective. Go visit; its a great performance

A fantastic creative space for the artist and the audience. A place to see some of the best writing and acting happening in LA. A sanctuary for actors.

The Moth is one of my favorite local theaters. In a town that lacks the theater scene of Los Angeles and Chicago, this place is a real jewel. It’s intimate and has a great vibe. I recently saw a wonderful performance of an original play by the owner. The play featured a few well-known actors as well as a few fantastic up and comers. The audience included several other big names(Neil Patrick Harris). This theater basically attracts those who are in the know and is a wonderful platform for our local talent. I look forward to the next show.

Amazing Theater! Great actors and productions. It’s quaint and looks like a vault. The kinda of place that you imagine Al Pacino and Sam Rockwell workshopping plays in.

An innovative home for artists who are brave enough to jump. If there is one way to describe the shows at here I would say«intimate». The level of work out of Moth constantly challenges and inspires.
