Sandy’s the best. Price is so affordabe and she does a great job. I finally found a hairstylist who’s so good at doing her job and cares for their clients too. I always come here for hair color and treatment.

This salon is two blocks from me so I figured I’d try it. I just wanted a simple blow out and even washed and conditioned my own hair. I wasn’t expecting high end service but just a simple blowdry since I was feeling lazy. Not even expecting a good blow out. I have curly hair but nothing anybody else hasn’t been able to handle. The woman glanced at my hair(which was up in a bun so you can’t even really see it) and said«oh sorry we can’t do curly hair.» So why do you own a salon? Ughhhhhhhh.

Just returned from another long overdue visit with Sandy &, not surprisingly, am VERY satisfied with the results. Sandy is very sweet & attentive to my requests, she’s very quick(30 minutes on average), & the end result is always to my liking. Sandy also does an amazing job doing my sisters’ hair & I think it says a lot that even my diva of a mother has Sandy blow dry her hair for special occasions! My family loves her quality of work & I highly recommend her. PROS: — She only charges $ 20 to layer my long hair(most people charge way more for the length). — Parking is relatively easy – tons of street parking. — O ya, & she’s so gentle with my hair that I almost always, if not ALWAYS, fall asleep when I get my hair done!

Amazing job, every single time. No one can blow dry hair as well as Sandy can. I’ve tried a lot of different salons(very expensive salons too), no one can come close to how well Sandy blow dries hair.

I have cut my hair three times here(because it’s walking distance from my apartment) and every time I’ve called to come in, they are either not open or… sort of open but don’t really want to open. The last time I stopped by, the sign said open, and the people in there were kind of just relaxing and not really paying attention(even though there were NO customers in there), until one of them gave in, unlocked the door, and offered me a seat. If you’re open, unlock your door and do your job. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but you opened up a hair salon in the neighborhood because you want business right? The only way to get business is to Welcome it. I won’t go again.

I happened to find Sandy, the owner and this salon when I needed a blow out at the last minute and my flakey salon would not take me. I was doing a show and needed it for the weekend. I went to my blackberry phone and did a GPS search for business locations and they came up. I called and they only charge $ 15 for a wash and blow dry! I could not believe it when my salon in Santa Monica charged $ 50! WHOOHOO! I was so happy I gave her a $ 5 tip! So a $ 20 bill will get you there. I booked it for 3 hours after I found it and met Sandy, who did a great job. The place has been there for 25 years and it is not the most pristine or clean place, but if you need a good, super cheap wash and blow dry, this is the place. I give her sandy 5 star just because she was so cheap, available the same day and quick!
