The best maternity we were able to find in LA. Everything is tasteful and quite fashionable. Most items are quite affordable as well. There are great designers!
Most clothes are meant to grow with the pregnancy and I saw many moms after pregnancy continue to shop here.

Maternity clothes are not fun, and i went with my pregnant daughter when she was down and out about it. Normally a really snappy dresser, she couldn’t find anything that appealed to her until we went here. It changed everything.
Importantly, she found comfortable, expanding clothes that grow with her and feel attractive and fashionable at the right price. Some were not maternity at all, while others have features for new moms built into the fashion.

What a great experience maternity clothes shopping at Moms The Word! Austin helped me throughout the whole process, choosing styles that I would chosen had I been shopping pre-​pregnancy. He was VERY patient, kind and accommodating! The selection of clothing was nothing like I imagined maternity wear could be! Great quality and style– many styles… Plus comfort!
I was actually sad when it was over and do look forward to going back for more!

OMG! Loved this place. I was in need of. A dress to wear to a wedding with minimal time to spare. I’d already been to two other places and found duds. I was super disappointed and feeling craptastic. Moms the Word came through!!! The sales lady (maybe the owner?) was able to find the perfect dress for me almost immediately. I picked out one myself to try too but the one she recommended was far superior! I was in and out of the store in a half hour tops. I felt beautiful, stylish, and comfy in the dress. I’ll definitely be back!!!

A nice boutique for moms. Fancy, but my mother bought my wife a blouse that she can nurse in without lifting up her whole shirt, which is great. The woman who works there is lovely, and very patient with us.

Went here today for the first time after finding it on Unilocal and liking the clothes on the website… this is the first maternity store I’ve been to where I felt like the styles were trendy and cute without the crazy costs. The quality of the clothes, the set up of the store, the variety… it felt like I was in a cute, upscale boutique– not a maternity store. I ended up getting 5 pieces that I know I will wear through my pregnancy and beyond… Austin (store/​retail rep) was a great help. I will be back soon as he mentioned they get new pieces in every week. SO HAPPY to have found this place…

I have an 11 month old son and I have been looking for a comfy patterned dress I could nurse in since I had a little bump. Finally found one here! Beautiful clothes, not crazy prices and wonderfully helpful staff.
It’s not all maternity clothes either. Some are just well designed clothes that you could wear if you are pregnant or not. Or nursing or not!
The buyers for this store are doing an awesome job.

Sophisticated, versatile pieces, well curated – most can be worn long after baby is born. And fabrics are all so soft and comfy! Prices (amazingly) lower than Pea in the Pod. I bought way more than I should have (I’m almost 8 months along in my second – and final – pregnancy) but haven’t regretted a single purchase. A gem!
