Love this place! IMO, it’s the best moderately priced, not-too-casual kosher dairy restaurant in the neighborhood. The confit pizza is delicious and they have some nice soup specials from time to time. Too bad they closed 1÷1÷14 :((although their website has not been updated to reflect this fact).

The food is mediocre at best. The ambiance is really nice and when I went it was quiet I ordered fried mozzarella sticks which was ok. And pizza marguerita which was soggy on he middle. It looked pretty but tasted like a cheap pizza shops pizza. Dough was aft and soggy and sweet I don’t think they bake their pizza on a pizza stone or In a wood fired oven it was really unacceptable for the high price they charge. We also had the halibut fettuccine which was fishy and just ok in terms of taste. I think I could make better food at home and feel cheated when I spend a lot of money at a pricey restaurant for mediocre food. If typo want a delicious tuna melt like no other skip the ambiance and go to holy cow creamery a few blocks away. It’s over priced at 11 bucks but at least it Tastes delicious!

This is the go-to kosher dairy restaurant for a brunch party for my friends and me. A full buffet for $ 23.10 a person(that includes tax and tips). This includes drinks such as mimosas and orange juice and a full buffet with things such as scrambled eggs, spring rolls, soup, pancakes, salads, lasagna, pasta, salmon and rice etc. I’ve never seen it crowded so it’s really nice for a big party because there’s a lot of room and it’s pretty private. Parking can be hard to find on the street. I don’t think there is valet during the day. This also would not be my first choice if I was going with just one other person because I feel that the vibe of the restaurant is more for a group atmosphere.

We were there for Sunday brunch. Having never been there before we waited for someone to seat us. After a while the bus boy(very nice) came over and took us to a lovely window seat. From this point on the entire experience went down. Finally, I asked if there was a server??? Yes I was told… again by the bus boy. At last the waiter came over. The service was AWFUL. The food okay. Sorry we will not be returning.

I’m not an all-star reviewer, but I felt compelled to write an outstanding review after seeing 1-star reviews(seriously?). I found them funny… Let’s start with décor… This place is in an old beautiful brick building nestled in the heart of Jewish area. The seating is nicely spaced, there are great views from practically every seat in the house. There is a beautiful bar As I’ve only been here once I can’t describe the décor in detail, but I do remember being quite impressed Service… our waiters was great. It was pretty busy on the night I went, I think one of the dining rooms wasn’t open as this restaurant is brand new. BUT… we were sat immediately, greeted by our server and served water as we were sitting down. The menu was explained to us and we were checked on normally, but not frequently enough where it became annoying and overbearing. the wai Food… Amazing… My boyfriend and I started with a great dish that was perfectly seasoned and a perfect portion to get our taste buds tingling. For our main course we both had pastas, I had a salmon one that was amazing, great taste, and just flat out amazing. My boyfriend has a pink pasta that was so rich and amazing that I ended up eating half of his dish as well, and on a side note they offer cheese cake options which is AMAZING We also ended the night with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream(cholove iseael of course) which was not on the dessert menu but they were nice enough to accommodate us. Overall… My dining experience was great… 10⁄10 or in this case — 5 stars. I will return to the milk and honey next time I’m on pico looking for some great italian KOSHER grub.

I NEVER write reviews, good or bad. But this place is so awful I need to. I came a few months ago and the service was just plain rude, but I didn’t say anything. However after last night I need to write a review. Walking in the place reeeeked like pee, when getting seated we were told«just so you know there is a 15⁄50 min» that’s not what scared us away it was the smell of pee in the restaurant. When trying to leave the waitress grabbed my hand and begged us not to leave. Being guilt tripped into staying we ordered. The food was cold and horrible, when trying to explain nicely the food was bad«this is how it’s always made.» Having stomach pains all through the night until now from their good. I will never return to this establishment.

I frequent eating here. The spinach calzone is probably the best item on the menu and the best value. I order it every time i go there. Rubin the waiter is very good. The only reason i give it 4 out 5 stars is because the desserts are not good and they never change them.

I came here to eat with my girlfriend and we made a reservation for 9 pm by 10 pm the waiters were already coming every second to our table and hinting us to get out. THEYJUSTKEPTSTANDINGOVEROURTABLELOOKINGIFWEFINISHEDEATINGSOAKWARD! They even handed us the check without us asking for it. The food was not bad the service was horrible. They have to learn… don’t make a late reservation if your planning on closing on them and kicking them out

Been here twice now, and the food has been average at best. My second time was on a Saturday night, and the service was just awful. I always cut Kosher restaurants some slack on Saturday nights because its probably not their best showing since they open late and only open for a few hours. If Im going to go for a Kosher dairy meal, I would definitely have to pick 26 over M&H

So apparently 4 stars at a Kosher restaurant = 1 – 2 stars at regular restaurants. This is one of the«best» Kosher places in LA and it was such a terrible experience. The complimentary bruschetta was not bad and my Caesar salad was somewhat ok(although some of the leaves were turning brown). Given that this is a Kosher diary restaurant, there’s no meat so I resorted to fish. Wow!!! My Macadamia Crusted Halibut was inedible. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted fish that overcooked in my whole life. I could hardly cut through the fish with my fork and the texture was so disgusting. The other 2 in my party ordered salmon and I noticed that all 3 dishes came with the same sides of gross bland potatoes, bell peppers and string beans. The LA standard for Kosher food is obviously very low. I’m sure glad that I don’t have that dietary restriction.

My favorite dairy restaurant in Los Angeles. Great service, and awesome food. Has a great cheese cake, and I’ve never had a bad meal there. Great for big dinner party’s or just small casual one on ones. The portions are very large, I always leave having to loosen my belt.

Great food, great service! Have had delicious pizzas and pastas here, every time I came. Go for the Sunday brunch, it’s a lot of fun(call ahead of time to make sure they have it that particular day).

Bleh. This place is awful. When I saw tostadas and Italian food on the same menu, I should have known. When I saw«canned» tuna as a main selling point on a salad, I should have left. I’m a vegetarian, so I’m all for a fancy vegetarian/kosher place, but this is not fancy, not good, and not even 50% vegetarian. If I were actually kosher I’d probably try Mexikosher across the street — at least they have a funny name. Final cost for two gross pastas, a goopy salad, and challah bruchetta? $ 50. Ridiculous.

This is one of my favorite places! I love it because it is fancy AND vegetarian! The calzones are off the hook. Yummie pasta dishes. Desserts are yum too! Service can be sometimes hit or miss. The prices can get a little high. Eating with carnivores can be challenging but you remind them that they have fish on the menu and sometimes it can calm their qualms. I try and come when I know it isn’t going to be too crowded. Weekends are the worst. All around, I love this place!
