wut?! wut’s all this«not as good as pinkberry» nonsense? i came here to say I LIKETHISBETTERTHANPINKBERRY. i never really got into the pinkberry craze anyways. if i want ice cream i’ll go get ice cream. i don’t care if it’s lo-cal. so i was surprised when i found myself with a craving for milano. i luv their pomegranate topping, which pinkberry doesn’t have! and they chop up their mango bits smaller. i like that too :) i dunno how u would get here unless u worked or lived nearby. i work down the street and it’s a good little walkng break.

This place is just right downstairs so I just go for the convenience. It’s right underneath the promenade towers which is really opportune for us residents. I probably wouldn’t necessarily come here if I didn’t live in the apartments above, but the yogurt is still good nonetheless. But it’s your typical frozen yogurt. Nothing special since there’s a frozen yogurt store in every corner now. It’s a little pricier than normal. They’ll still have my service, because I’m lazy.

I have to concur with the previous reviewer. It is a poor imitation of Pinkberry with an extra spoon full of sugar. But I hear the bev milano freezer is more happening and has that pinkberry buzz. This location is so well hidden under the promenade tower apt that I couldn’t imagine anyone but the apt residents coming to it. I’m concerned it may not get enough foot traffic to survive the downtown rent rates. Check it out. I did. They give you ample amount of topping but the prices are like 30 – 40 cents more than pinkberry. so bleh: \. i say the biggest plus for promenade towers residents is. that it’s convenient if you don’t wanna drive

I know that this is a chain, but they recently opened a new store off of Figueroa in downtown LA. The location, although cool for people who live at the Promenade Tower apts, may be a little out of the way for others. This is a poor imitation of Pinkberry, I agree with another Unilocaler, that it is a little sweeter than pinkberry, but it’s also got a strange powder-y after taste. They don’t have the mochi topping as of yet, but they did promise that they will by the end of the month. One thing that they have that pinkberry doesn’t have is the frequent buyer card. Other than the proximity,(if i ever get a craving and don’t want to drive 10 – 15 minutes), Milano Freezer will just have to suffice.
