I love boba and the Mighty Boba Truck serves up a darn good drink. I went for the taro milk tea, but I should have ordered it less sweet. They have different sizes and you could tell them how sweet you want your drink, which is a nice offering. If I see them again I’ll try a different tea and possibly with grass jelly instead of boba. 3.5 stars upped to 4.

Not too shabby! I attended my friends’ wedding, and they hired them to provide snacks and drinks for guests between the ceremony and reception. The portions were large, considering we were going to eat afterwards! Not only that, but the Mighty Boba food truck stayed the entire night, and we were able to order more food after the reception! Love this idea! Great job guys! The staff was very friendly. Ordered: 1) Popcorn chicken: 3⁄5 2) Jasmin milk green tea with pudding: 3.5÷5 3) Sweet potato fries: 3⁄5 I really wanted to try their sweet potato tots, but I had no more room in my belly :(

So I über to there location they put on Unilocal and there was nothing there. It was a total waste of my time. In addition, the number they provided on Unilocal does not even work. I called it and it said out of service. They definitely need to update there contact information as well as their location.

Not where they posted to be and no one picked up the phone. Not sure I want to try you anymore.

Never disappointed in this truck! Boba is great, usually get my tea down in Rosemead and San Gabriel area(hardcore Asians) but the mighty boba comes really close! They sell real tea with fresh honey boba! Some people in Burbank might be used to the tea that comes premade and in the plastic containers and not the fresh boba, but don’t listen to them! 10⁄10

I think the last«milk tea» I had was taro and sugar water, plus some boba I didn’t recall ordering that was also bathed in sugar. Way, way sweet than desired, and after adjustment it was still too sweet from all the sugar. Partially my own fault for not ordering it less sweet to start with, but this was seriously out of line with my previous experiences here. Had the popcorn chicken and the tofu, too. Tofu is just deep fried, quite plain, no chili sauce, nothing. Popcorn chicken claims great things with the buttermilk, but in reality it’s not particularly flavorful or cripsy, even at level 7 spice– and the bits of chopped veggies and rice were pretty sad, too. That said you don’t normally go to most pearl tea places for food(aside from maybe a bag of popcorn chicken), so the main concern is how mediocre the pearl tea was…

Delicious! Reminds me of a better quality Tapioca Express but on wheels. The popcorn chicken is sooo good. I usually get it in lunchbox form and super spicy. Really good boba and the teas are full of flavor with their fresh fruit juices. I only wish they would occasionally come to the Silverlake/Hollywood area once in a while

I was able to try the Mighty Boba Truck at the OC626 Night Market. They have a variety of boba teas to choose from, sizes, levels of sweetness, and yes even jelly. With all of the options presented to me, I went with the most basic because if you can’t do basic right then well everything else isn’t going to be stellar. I received my drink after an agonizing wait since everything is made to order and then I took my first sip. Not bad. I found it to be sweeter than I liked so next time I’d go for half sweet instead of regular but it was still good. The boba had a nice chew to it and the service was friendly. Not too shabby. If I ever see them again, I’ll definitely try another drink.

This truck is pretty cool. I really like the Jasmine Milk Tea from here. The owners and employees are very nice and understanding. They also have a great sense of humor! They allow you choose the amount of sugar that you want in your drink, which is a great way for you to control how sweet your boba is. The last time I had this was at the LA Night Market. I have been to this truck numerous times and will definitely support it in the future. It is only 50 cents to upgrade it to a large drink. Thank you Mighty Boba Truck! –Tej

I am from San Gabriel Valley so I’ve consequently had a lot of boba and popcorn chicken in my 23 years of life. Without a doubt, TMBT has the best hand-shaken boba drinks and all their food is cooked fresh and on point. For those who are complaining about boba running out… think about this: the places that don’t run out of boba are probably serving you 2-day old boba that they microwaved(if that) to make it «fresh». TMBT cooks their boba in a special way that identifies their drinks has the best around town. I would think after the first time of missing the boba, you’d learn your lesson to come earlier and beat the crowd of other folks who like their delicious boba. Even if they put up a sign, you wouldn’t see it until you get near the window anyway. My favorite dishes include: popcorn chicken, island pork chop, grilled and friend tofu, brick toast, and their special #2 boba drink(pumpkin pie). The trunk is a little pricier than Lollicup or Tap Ex, but you have to realize they are a MOBILE store and everything is hand-shaken or cooked on the spot. It’s not like they can just make a batch of powdered green tea that lasts for days at a time. Their cost to bring this delicious food to you is included in your expense. I’ve had TMBT several times and appreciate the top-notch service and quality food. I love that they customize each drink and even know the orders of their frequent customers. Don’t forget to ask for a stamp card!

For a time, boba was a go-to treat on my weekly regimen(sometimes twice or even thrice weekly). These days, I don’t get it very often, but when the Mighty Boba Truck showed up for an event in our neighborhood(and I looked at the serpentine line in front of the Cousin’s Maine Lobster truck), I decided to try it out. I liked the fact that you can order your drink with a range of sweetness, and I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with less sugar(one notch down from normal sweetness level). I got my order fairly fast, and the taste of the tea was quite good. The boba itself earned top marks for texture and flavor. The food on the menu did not look very appetizing, so I would probably stick with the drinks on subsequent visits.

Standard boba fare(popcorn chicken, snacks, and of course boba) – though I believe they use actual tea and flavored syrup for their drinks. I’ve always believed that tapioca express and lollicup use just flavored powders – this place you can actually taste the green tea. The popcorn chicken was forgettable, but not bad. The green tea honeydew boba was decent, and the boba balls were perfectly sweet and chewy. Will definitely come again, but wouldn’t seek it out.

I like the name of this food trunk. MIGHTYBOBATRUCK! It just sounds cute. But that’s as far as my amusement went. My boyfriend and I were at an event and it was a pretty hot day. This truck was pretty much the only one at the event that were serving up Asian style drinks so we decided to check it out. The truck really did a good job moving the line along which I appreciated. We got the Passion Fruit Green Tea with boba and grass jelly. Half sweetened of course. The tea itself wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t anything great neither. It was simply alright. It was a little watered down I think. It didn’t help that the boba was undercooked so it was a little hard. It did have good flavor though. My boyfriend liked the grass jelly but he likes any kind of grass jelly. Overall, if there were other boba places in the area, I probably wouldn’t go to Mighty Boba Truck because it is a little on the pricey side. But like I said, it was a hot day and it got the job done. 3⁄5

Crazy, I’m surprised mighty boba has a 4 star rating! Mighty boba truck was at the Lunar New Year event at Westfield Santa Anita mall last weekend. My friends and I decided to try out their boba. Both my friends got their almond milk tea boba which they said was good. I got the taro milk tea and I asked for no boba, when I got my drink it had boba! While I ordered my drink, the lady who took my order asked me how sweet I wanted my drink. I looked at her cluelessly… I’ve never had to order boba and been asked how sweet I wanted my drink. I told her standard, I paid and she just stared. It’s like, where’s the«thank u»? It was awkward, I stared at her for a few seconds wondering if she was going to ask me something else because she had that look… I got my drink and it tasted like freaking cherry flavored Tylenol syrup medicine for kids that I hated as a kid! I couldn’t continue drinking it and I knew how much my nephew loves boba so I gave him my drink and he said it didn’t taste like taro either. This truck is a little on the pricey side for boba drinks.

An organization at my school had TMBT as a promotional and have away free boba. Even with the hectic, non-paying college students, everyone inside seemed calm an professional and acted as though it was just a regular day. Boba still tasted great even in the rush so I can only imagine how great my experience would have been if I were a paying customer! 5⁄5 for taste 5⁄5 for service!

Overall alright. Employees are extremely nice, and they give you a card where you buy 10 drinks you get one free. It’s a bit overpriced, in my opinion. A small milk tea drink by itself is $ 4 and adding boba is $.50. However you can customize your sweetness level which I like. I got my almond milk tea with the half the sugar and it was good. The boba was a bit hard, but I’ve had worse boba. I still wouldn’t come back and pay for it again. Snack size buttermilk popcorn chicken is $ 5 which is overpriced, but pretty good. No sweet and sour sauce, though, making it a bit bland. If you’re in the mood for boba and Asian snacks then try it! Otherwise I wouldn’t bother.

Ive heard great things aBout the mighty boba truck. Just the name alone is catchy and makes you smile. ordered: *mango green tea was very refreshing. Asked for half sweet. Was recommended by the staff as well. My bf liked this a lot. He was even craving this the other day. Too bad they don’t have a store that we can go to. *boba milk tea wasn’t bad either. We both liked the mango green tea more. Tried it at: 626 night market. Tips: *there’s a little cut out photo opporutity. *8.50 for two regular sizes. *check in for a special.(Kinda hard when it’s at an event because of the address thing) *credit card accepted *Taiwanese food. They also serve munchies like popcorn chicken.

While there were many stalls offering boba drinks at the 626 Night Market, there was only one boba truck: The Mighty Boba Truck. The truck is the cutest thing, decorated with images of food with faces, including boba drinks and snacks like buttermilk popcorn chicken. The Taiwanese lunch box items(aka Mighty Heroes) like popcorn chicken, pork chop and Taiwanese sweet sausage with rice and veggies sounded tempting. Sidekicks are snacks like brick toast and fries. The boba drinks are made to order, fully«taste-omizable» and hand shaken. Add ins(boba, pudding, jellies) are 50 cents extra and you can specify how sweet you want your drink, how much milk you want, etc. A regular size drink is $ 4 and a large is $ 4.50. * Classic milk tea($ 4 regular + 50 cents for boba): I asked for it to be half as sweet as usual and it was still quite sweet, the regular sweetness must be extremely sweet. The tea flavor was pleasant but not that strong. The drink was mildly milky. The tapioca balls were nicely sweetened and fresh but undercooked and too hard. Also, half the cup was filled with ice. They were generous with the amount of tapioca pearls. Credit cards are accepted.

Mighty Boba Truck is the best food truck around. I can speak for anyone who is familiar with the truck when I say that Frances and Luca and the rest of the Mighty Boba team are extremely hard working and put a lot of energy into their craft. They are also philanthropic in donating proceeds directly to student organizations and their philanthropic campaigns :). Besides that, I’ve never had boba from a food truck that’s this good(you know who the competition is…) and the popcorn chicken(very spicy if you want) and calimari balls are straight fireeee. The selection of tea flavors is also superior to any other mobile boba offering and the quality of taste is on par with any brick and mortar store. If you need lunch, support the Mighty Boba Truck for their elite quality of food, drinks, and service, and their philanthropic ownership :)

Oh yes another update… I got this down to a science now. FOOD– Combo number one with popcorn chicken(spice level 6), no rice and extra veggies DRINK– Large iced green tea(easy on ice, easy on sugar) with mango jelly & grass jelly The embarassing part is they know me by my name and that I’ve been stalking them. When they’re here by my work: «Sharr, how’s working at xxxx?» When they’re here by my house: «Sharr, where are the doggies?» Only once that I tried their spice level 8(lowest at 1 and highest at 10), I have to tell you that was not fun. A bit ambitious but there comes a point where Sharr would like to taste the food instead of the burn. So the happy medium for me right now is spice level 6… drools!
