If you’re a man, Dr. Seibert and the «SoCal Mens Medical Group» is the place to go.
I’m not sexist, in fact, the best doctor I ever had was a woman.
But – there are some things that men find easier to discuss with other men, and that’s what this office is about.
I initially found it hard to get them on the phone, but you can make an appointment online, within a day or two, and that’s what I did. Then they quickly called back.
When you get there, they have a very friendly staff, and a tablet based system for entering your medical information. Then I didn’t have to wait long to see Dr. Seibert.
He’s very personable, and makes you comfortable talking about all health issues.
Most important, he takes his time and really gets to know you as a human being.
I felt like he listened, gave me useful information I didn’t already know, and then he and his staff were extremely efficient about pre-​authorizing my prescription so that my insurance would fill it (after they made a big deal about how it wasn’t in their formulary).
My pharmacy called a few minutes after I left to say they’d received it and it was all approved, again showing how efficient the office is.
The whole experience was warm, pleasant, and personal, and while I don’t always look forward to going to the doctor, I will be happy to come back when it’s necessary!
