Much improved as far as customer service. Kind service is nice. Shelves are still empty and that’s not a good impression for customers… but they always have my cerveza. Recently they’ve added a Taquero(homemade taco cook) that serves until fairly late(11:30pm?) The grilled meats smell delicious when I’m passing by and there’s almost always people waiting for food… they must be doing something right. I’m definitely going to try the tacos.

Mom and pop grocery store. all the workers are nice. A smaller version of supermarket, having the basics in the meat, veggie, household supplies, snacks, and drinks. Great prices! it is concurrent for the ppl living in the area bc you can walk there last minute and grab milk our whatever with out driving. I’m a fan… buuut be careful when using credit here, I would suggest cash. I’m from out of town used card and got charged twice had to have my cousin sort it which she did not like, given her hectic schedule. She told me they were apologetic and handled it right away but could not put the money on the card so she got my cash and most likely just bought groceries with it. I did not take awaya star even with the hassle bc things happen and they reacted well and I still had a great experience, I will make sure to have cash next time!

To be fair, this mom n’ pop grocery store has a nice(but very small) produce section and pretty good meats. The single produce shelf is very small, but it looks like they bring in produce regularly so that it’s fresh most of the time. Sometimes I’ve seen stuff that looks like it’s been sitting there for way too long, though. Their meat section is bigger than the produce. Their dry goods section is lacking, but you can find some common things like tapatillo, beans, rice, and tomato sauce. They’ve also got milk, eggs, chips/candy, and drinks typical of a liquor store. All prices are decent. Why the 1 star? The cashier will PURPOSELY overcharge you(or maybe just me) for your goods. The first time I thought maybe I just remembered the price wrong. The second time, I thought«hmm…» Third time, there was no doubt about it. Not only did they overcharge me, they also had an extra credit card fee that was not indicated by a sign and the cashier didn’t bother to tell me about. It’s a shame, too, losing a customer to cheat someone out of a couple bucks. I would have given it at least 3 stars if not for them ripping people off, but business practices like that deserve minus 4 stars.
