Great place for Kosher sushi but it did get overwhelming because the line to order got a little packed and messy. Really good though, I recommend the crunchy munchy.

This is probably my favorite sushi restaurant. Everything is clean and the staff is friendly. There’s plenty of seating and the sushi is delicious! I am addicted to the thunder roll, red dragon roll and Japanese pizza. Can’t go wrong!

I really like this place for so many reasons. They have a great variety of food(some that are also off the menu) and they have very tasty dishes. The staff was nice and accommodating. It’s definitely my new favorite sushi place(especially for kosher sushi).

Food’s really good. Service takes a while so order in advance. What I mean by advance, place an order before you arrive by phone. The place smells pretty bad and need something to improve it. A lot of room to sit. It’s a little pricier than it used to be too.

Terrible quality sushi with skin still on it. Terrible miso soup with dry mushrooms. The man at the cash register also pulled a menu aggressively from underneath my pen while I was signing to pay for my order. This place is certainly a no go.

If you’re down for a taste of heaven, then good news. It’s conveniently in the heart of Pico, corner of Pico and Crest. Where to begin. Meshuga hands down creates the most incredible Kosher sushi I’ve had around here. The fish is always fresh and the rolls are delicious. The creative menu features rolls I’ve never seen elsewhere, such as the Japanese Pizza or their dessert ice cream roll. I recommend the Two-Tone roll and Godzilla roll. Its a great place to get together with friends and talk over a bite. It has it’s lively moments on weekends and quiet ones on weekdays, so whatever you’re down for. They recently expanded the place, and the second room is very nicely decorated, clean, and peaceful. I guess it’s because of that that they recently increased the prices a bit. And also on Monday they apparently have this buy two rolls get the third of equal or lesser value free. It begins at 5pm however, not the 1pm posted on Facebook. The service is great, they’ll be sure to always create rolls as you please and the prices are typically true to the roll. There are a couple parking spaces in the back and if occupied(which usually it isn’t on weekdays), there’s always space on the street for free anyway. Oh and the store music choice, really good compared to surrounding places. Looking forward to returning soon and recommend anyone who hasn’t tried it to give it a shot.

Looking forward to being welcomed as though you were at an authentic sushi bar? Forget it – expect, instead, a group of arrogant young waiters who don’t greet you or move aside to let you sit down. Go to Minori instead – you will be greeted warmly the minute you open the door.

Have you heard about all those Japanese Jews in LA? Oh wait, they don’t exist. Neither does authentic kosher sushi, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go to Meshuga! Japanese Pizza isn’t actually a thing, but Meshuga makes it their thing. It’s hard to hate on spicy tuna over crispy brown rice. Shishitos are always welcome, and Salmon Lover Roll is fresh. The spicy slices of salmon with blackened edges of pepper are pretty refreshing. Since shrimp just can’t be kosher, why not just make it from scratch? That’s what they did for the Spider Roll. The shrimp tempura tastes pretty scarily close. Meshuga may not be the most authentic sushi you’ll ever have, but it’s guaranteed to be fresh and fun and I’m guaranteed to go back for more.

Back again and incredible sushi as always, place is so clean and staff is alway so nice. Tried the Crazy Fries this time and it they were unreal, definitely gotta give them a try.
I’m a sushi fanatic and this was decent, at best. The cucumber salad was practically flavorless and was missing the vinegar flavor. Also not sure why there was a whole salad underneath, making it even more difficult to access any of the vinegar dressing. The rice was strange… I’m not sure if this has to do with it being kosher? I am not sure, but in any case, it was rubbery. The salmon was tasty but some of the other fish did not taste fresh because the flavor was totally absent. It was nice that they included eel sauce and spicy mayo without asking. Their rolls did look super interesting but we were trying to eat light so I didn’t get a chance to try them. ‘Maybe’ next time I will go that route.

Horrible customer service, tables never clean. The manager is absolutely horrendous. Although the owner is very sweet and nice he hires the most incompetent people. I am a regular customer and i order about 200 – 300 $ worth of food wvery week in the form of platters and they still do not treat me withbany respect, i am sick and tired of this place and i will be moving on to other sushi joints for my sushi pleasures Attached is how the manager has responded, in response to this post, please look at his use of vulgar language

Great Sushi. And Kosher without the extra prices that kosher usually brings. Ummmmm shishito peppers. And Spider Roll with«Kosher Shrimp» Tempura so good you can eat them plain. The best sashimi salad I have eaten. Light, fresh and just right.

Really? Are you serious, Unilocalers? We must have eaten at different places. I was excited to try this Kosher sushi joint close to him. They serve tuna and salmon — which are my favorite fish varieties. …definitely disappointed. It was edible, but the fish was kinda dry and didn’t taste fresh. I had a miso soup, spicy tuna roll, and a patron roll and the seared tuna was tough. My husband had a couple of different veggie rolls that were OK. But those aren’t really easy to mess up. I was really bummed because it has good reviews and I had high expectations. Perhaps it was my own fault for having it delivered — if I’m feeling wild and crazy perhaps I’ll go there again and dine in or take it out myself. Maybe the delivery dude drove around for a while before dropping off my raw fish… guh.

One star for promptness and another star for being reasonable. The portions are good too — about 8 rolls per order, so you can share. We ordered takeout from here because it was reasonably priced, nearby, and had free delivery– we didn’t think about the fact that it was kosher, but it’s a great option for those who choose to eat kosher. As for me… ehh, I’m most likely not going to order from here again. The fish didn’t taste so fresh, and I ended up um… running to the bathroom shortly after consuming spicy tuna and salmon from here. :(But I’ve learned that’s the risk you take when you order delivery sushi.
