This place is really a gem. They have all kinds of specialty paints and plasters… and even glitter paint for your walls. I cam in here looking for specialty wall paper, and was impressed by their selection and quality. The showroom is being built out right now, so I’m definitely going to come back and check it out once it’s done.

then cruise on down San Fernando Rd in the no-man’s land between Cypress Park, Glassell Park, Atwater Willage and Glendale. You’ll pass the Peking Noodle Co. (A fortune cookie factory!) on the way, and the faded glory of its retro sign.
The folks at Meoded service a lot of the entertainment industry needs (film production, set design, that kinda stuff), and a lot of commercial jobs, so as thus, they open early (hours escape me) and close by 4 or 5 most days, and really early on Saturday (closed Sunday).
So if you’re playin’ hooky from work and have to get that home project done, or you’re lucky to be a freelancer (or out of work actor-​writer-​pa, etc…) then mosey on down to Meoded and they’ll do you up right (none of this Lowe’s and Home Depot bullshit)…
