The conference I was at had a food truck night and this was one of the trucks. We did not pay for the food and I think they had a special menu so my review may be a bit different than most. I had the lamb pita with homemade Tzatziki, french fries, Tomatoes, Onions, Lettuce & Seasonings. The lamb was very flavorful, good Tzatziki sauce, lots of fresh veggies. I love that there are French fries inside the pita. Yum! I definitely would love to try more of their items the next time I am in Los Angeles.

I had the Lamb Gyro and thought it was excellent! The ladies on the truck were pleasant and I got my food in a reasonable amount of time. The meat was well seasoned and kept me full all day!

I ordered the Salad of the Gods with lamb and it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. I rarely have good food truck experiences and usually feel like I’m being ripped off, but this was totally worth $ 13. The amount of meat they give you is crazy huge and it’s perfectly seasoned. The dressing was perfect. The lettuce was crisp and the toppings were plentiful. My only problem now is that they don’t have a schedule of where they’re going to be and it doesn’t look like they update their social media much. I’d definitely drive to find them if they did.

Waited 25 minutes for my food. I timed it. The lamb was overlooked and dry. Other than that it was tasty at least.

I ordered the lamb gyro. It was all right. The wait was so long for the food though.

My first experience with this truck was easily forgettable. Maybe I was the one being picky. I gave them another shot. I’m glad I did. They made up for it the second go around. I’m not sure of the name of the salad but it was MASSIVE and tasty. So Meat the Greek truck, you have redeemed yourself. I’ll see you soon!

So disappointing. $ 9 for a pita filled with lettuce, 4 French fries, a quarter of a tomato, and a spoonful of feta. The flavors were good and food fresh, but I did not get my money’s worth. Not to mention the 20 minute wait.

If only Unilocal allowed for negative stars. This was quite possibly not just the WORST greek food I have ever had but the most HORRIBLE customer service ever. I attended the Made in America concert this past weekend and was so excited to see not just ONE but TWO greek food trucks at the event. I tried this truck and Good Greek Grub(check my review for them). And Meat the Greek was in one word: Atrocious. Firstly, I am not surprised at all at how many people that left bad reviews before me from their experience at Made in America. It was like the Meat the Greek people lost their damn minds and just decided that they hate their customers and don’t want to make good impressions or give out good food. Not only did we wait for WELLOVER an hour, but when my friends and were concerned and wondering where our food was, we asked the woman that we presumed the be the owner aka one in charge and she yelled at us that our food was coming and that there were people ahead of us. UMDUH i see the growing crowd of hungry people around me I was simply ASKING politely how much longer it would be. I also observed as she yelled at other customers as well, if that is how someone is going to run their business, I will be very glad to take my business elsewhere next time. ONTOP of bad service, a LONG ass wait, very dramatic prices, we FINALLY got the chicken gyro and the fries we ordered which were god awful. The chicken was dry and the bread kinda crispy(is pita supposed to be hard?) and the fries were so soggy and mushy. Silver lining though we grabbed food from the Good Greek Grub truck as well which had us happy and skipping and full bellied and forgetting all about Meat the Gross Greek.

This was one of the many food trucks at Made in America 2014. After waiting in line for well over an hour, this couple decided to cut us in line. After informing this couple that there was a line and having them yell at us to «mind yo biznezz» and to «shut your mouth and look away», we decided to tell the owner that this couple had cut the line and to not take their order. She promptly shouted, «I don’t care what’s happening! If you’re going to start a fight, get the hell out of my line!» We told her so that her business could avoid a whole line of upset customers… not to start a fight. This all happened while we were two people away from the order window. There was no way she was not aware of what was happening. Anyways, we place our orders(lamb gyro — $ 15, chicken plate — $ 15) and the food comes out another 30 minutes later, which is expected for a festival weekend. The fries were soggy and the meat was bland and dry.

Can I do half a star for this place? The service was terrible. We waited in line for half an hour, we’re at a festival I get it. But they announced that they still have salads. Except the lady taking our order says that they dont. When my boyfriend pointed out that they literally just said they had some, she called him rude. Not to mention, a cook came out to change something on the truck, while wearing his gloves. Did he change his gloves when he went back to cook food? No! Gross! I’ll say the same thing another poster did. Same you’re time and money. A tip to the owner: dont be rude to your customers, they pay your bills.

Service was shitty. The wait was long. The owner bitch was crazy. She cussed me & several customers out because she was«up since 4am»… Ummm not my problem. I will never come back here. Fuck that food truck. If zeros stars were an option that’s what I would choose.

Worst ever. It’s been more than an hour and I’m still in line! Don’t care how good the food is. So slow!!!

Ordered from this food trucks at a the Doll House. When ordered was not advised that there was a long wait for food. After waiting an hour and hearing a few orders past my number called I spoke to the woman talking orders. She checked and it turned out my order had been forgotten — they were now working on it. I ordered the Greek burger: it was a piece of burnt ground beer. Never ever again. Save your money and time.

egh, what can i say that hasn’t been said before. High priced, not enough value. Chicken was above average, but a little dry. They put alot of tzatziki which is good. Pretty slow service. hopefully next time i try it, it will be better.

Very overpriced food(a lamb gyro with no sides was $ 10) and abrupt service. It’s not well wrapped, the meat is super greasy and the sauce is all over the place. The menu is also confusing as hell. The gyro comes with about five fries tucked inside the pita, and the next level is a plate that includes salad that kicks it up to $ 16. Not in this economy… or any other.

The food speaks for itself! Either pork or chicken wraps are great! The fries and yogurt give the wraps that extra specially kick. They are the BEST wraps I’ve ever had, hands down the best ever. Leave room for desert… I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but i tried the cheesecake and it was like no other.

Had the Gyro with chicken and fries inside. Meat was kinda dry. Bread was really hard and almost inedible. I was half tempted to return it. Prices were to high. Truck looked very dirty from the outside. Wont be back. Two positives: The wait wasn’t long and the sauce they used in the Gyro was good.

A bit slow for the food, the pita was so-so, and the killer– clearly not paying very close attention to the grill. The ribeye skewer wasn’t cheap and when finally served, it had clearly sat on the grill waaaay too long. Well done? Umm. No thanks.

UnilocalINSIDERTIPFROMDOREEN(AKAAZNPERSUASION): They were at the Doll Factory Roller Derby event and were a yummy healthy option(as a burger truck was there, pizza stand, and Hot Dog on a Stick). **** I got the pork skewer which was #2. It was piping hot, seasoned well, and easy to eat off of the stick. It was really good. I would definitely eat their food again.

Also commonly known as Greek Food Truck with no Gyros. Most everything is tasty and well prepared. The pork may be a little dried at times, but the chicken is excellent. The prices are a bit high for this type of street food, but the $ 5 Baklava may be worth it. It is excellent! The only thing that turned me off to this Truck is their inconsistent charging for the use of a credit card. Come on, don’t you think we notice when you charge some people and not others the extra 50 cents? Shame on you!
