I love McDonald’s you might think I have no taste in food because of that but I’m telling you if we’re talking about fast food McDonald’s knows what they’re doing. I like the specials that they have going on like the 2 for 5 and let’s not even talk about the coffee drinks. Very cheap very efficient and very affordable. This location down in the plaza is a very good one as well it’s very clean very fast and most of the employees are very friendly. The line moves pretty fast… since it’s in a busy District that’s a plus

Nice! Mickie Dees is saving itself by serving breakfast all day!!! Woohooo! So, I’ll have the sausage biscuit with egg. «Oh sorry we don’t sell that here for lunch.» Ok, I’ll have the hash browns and pancakes. «Nope not that either.» So what DO you have on the breakfast menu for lunch? «The egg McMuffin.» What else? «That’s about it.» So there you go. DTLA McD’s sucks balls.

What can I say, it’s the golden arches. I have come here a handful of times for small items and coffee. I am pretty sold on the iced coffee, but I don’t like the waiting process there enough to keep coming back for it. Basically, they write your name on their copy of the receipt and just kind of lay it there for a while, meanwhile just kind of hanging around the rest of the place with no real pick-up area.

Check your bag! I hate this McDonald’s! My food has been wrong several times. Check the bag at the counter because if you get back to your desk and it’s wrong you will be fuming. Why? Because you already dealt with their HORRIBLE customer service. I mean I get it. It’s McDonald’s but seriously? Asking me what I want and then talking to the girl next to you without listening then asking me to repeat myself? Are you serious right now? Ugh where’s burger king, Jack in the box, Carl’s jr, ANYTHING else around here. Well there’s one but it’s not as close to me. After today I will definitely be venturing out to find it. This rating is JUST for this location no McDonald’s breakfast food which os why they got 2 stars and not one.

It’s hot in here! I’ve never been in this McDonald’s when the air conditioning was working, and I’ve been working in this area for a long time. And the food today was really poor quality-burger dry, stale tasting, and cold soggy fries

Nasty AF even for McD’s. Sloppy double cheese burg and fries were obviously double fried(dark and crispy, not golden). Fryer oil was probably old too. Fries were bitter.

Look, I did something I never should have done… I’m sorry, ok!!! It won’t happen again. I was craving ice cream, and there’s nothing nearby. I went to McDonald’s for a McFlurry… I know, I know please don’t judge me. And also, this wasn’t the first time… I’m hanging my head in shame… I also had fries. The handful of times that I partook in this incredible shame from this location, I was truly NOT lovin’ it! It’s hot in there! There’s no AC, and even the few minutes it took for my fast food to come out fast were insufferable. Each and every time, something was wrong with the McFlurry I wanted. The machine is broken most of the time, so they just plop a spoonful of Oreos on top and can’t even mix it. Sometimes the ice cream machine is broken all together, and then I can’t even get my ice cream fix at all! Many times they barely gave me any Oreos, so I ended up with an overpriced cup of nearly plain yogurt. I mean, it’s a super simple dessert. It’s a staple on their menu. So why has this item been served incorrectly every single time? What’s even worse than a poorly prepared McFlurry? Bad fries! They are usually served old and cold. Never had a truly delicious and fresh batch from this location. I guess I shouldn’t be too disappointed. After all, it’s McDonald’s! Shouldn’t have went in with anything but low expectations. I miss the Johnny Rocket’s across the street. It used to provide piping hot fries and perfectly blended shakes on demand that were amazing every time. Now it’s out of business and I’m stuck with this crap… Sad times.

Guess what got shut down as of 7/15/15…Yeah, you guessed. Why? Because it did not have hot water and the county shut it down! Meaning, for however long this condition has been going on, it means that every utensil and equipment which requires cleaning and sanitizing was not properly done. Meaning, anything ordered… you guess it.

Went for lunch because let’s face it, food in DTLA is not cheap. There’s almost no way to get a full filling lunch for under $ 10 bucks. Especially with the onslaught of new«trendy» and«hipster» restaurants in Downtown. Now, this is not a review about french baguettes or craft cocktails. This is for the average Joe/Jane who isn’t working a baller job like Lawyer or CEO of a Retail Management company. This McDonald’s essentially serves the business crowd. Open from 6am to 6pm and they knock out orders quick. My only gripe is like some McDonald’s locations when you ask for a water cup, they give you the kiddie cup/sippie cup/communion cup size. I know Mickey D’s is trying to save money as a corporation, but how about at least a 6 – 8 oz dixie cup instead of a 2 oz one? I just don’t like drinking sodas… but I would like to drink more than a «shot» of water at a time and have to keep coming back like 10 times while i’m enjoying my meal. And as dry as McDonald’s burgers on, m you gonna need to hydrate your pallate! Lol Overall it’s a standard McDonald’s. Quick, cheap food. Tip* Don’t forget to go online to and fill out the survey online that comes on your reciept. It’s good for a free Egg McMuffin or a Free Quarter Pounder. So you can potentially use that BOGO offer to get lunch and a later afternoon snack on the cheap!

This place is the pits of pits, the bowels of hell, the intestines of hell. The food, if you can call it food is.(I don’t think there is a word to describe it). If I was starving I wouldn’t eat here. I wouldn’t serve this slop to wild pigs! The customer service is ridiculous, half of the people don’t speak English, the ones that do can’t fill a correct order. There is one gay guy(Angel) who swishes around like he’s in a Macy’s Parade. The place reeks of old mops… DONOTEATHERE! I REPEAT, DONOTEATHERE, DONOTLETYOURENEMIESEATHERE!!!

Just got a burger here… It was old. I did not enjoy it. Most of the time the food is pretty weak here but it is close by. My mid-year resolution is to not go back regardless of how convenient it is located.

If I tell you my name is D. I don’t expect you to spell it Die. I mean WTF. On a previous occasion I said D and they wrote Diane and yet I’m a man. Don’t eff up my 1 syllable name. Listen! I’ll attach a pic of the Die receipt. Hilariously sad customer service. I even mentioned the error to which she did not acknowledge at all.

ROACHESINTHESODA!!! BEWARE!!! DONOTEATHERE!!! I visited(today) on 12/26/2014, and the restaurant had an A health grade. However, while filling my drink I saw dead and living bugs that appeared to be small roaches on the soda machine. I returned my food for a refund and notified the the staff about the bugs. The man at the counter(1) did not seem surprised,(2) offered no apology,(3) did not say it would be cleaned up, and(4) continued to sell drinks to customers. If sanitary conditions and/or customer service matter to you then only eat at this McDonald’s Restaurant w/caution or not at all. If you see any gross conditions at this McDonald’s or at any other food establishment please take 5 min and(1) report them to the LA County Dept. of Public Health ,(there is a short form to fill out at that link and you are done),(2) report conditions to the owner(w/this issue I called McDonald’s 800 number listed on their website and made a report to the owner’s association),(3) post a negative Unilocal review with a summary of your experiences. We should all do what we can to increase and enforce the standards of living that we find acceptable. This is America, and in America restaurants should be clean.

Thank you, McDonalds of City National Plaza, for filling half of my medium mocha frappé with whipped cream. Thank you, McDonalds of City National Plaza, for making my filet o’ fish unrecognizable, with the bun all askew, stuck to the fish patty on its side, with the cheese the consistency of glue. I know. I ate glue until I was 4. Thank you, McDonalds of City National Plaza, for the DMVesque service. And finally, thank you, McDonalds of City National Plaza, for reminding me why you’re not the place for lunch.

Location is great since I work within walking distance and its a most cost effective lunch, but most everything else isn’t. At this location, every time I get one of the breakfast meals, they give me a larger size drink, which costs more, but they don’t say anything which is pretty sneaky! They’ve also not included bacon on a bacon sandwich and did not seem to care plus the anything fried tastes like they left it in the fryer for a few minutes longer than necessary.

This review is only for McD’s coffee or should I say McCafe? It’s decent coffee for a fast food restaurant. Personally, I don’t eat fast food anymore for health reasons, but I’ll drink coffee anywhere because I’m a caffeine fiend! Anyways, I only came here because the line was so long at Starbucks this afternoon. 3pm and the line is 12 people deep! Are you serious? I need my caffeine!

Quest to try Mighty Wings? CHECK. That was delicious. If supposedly this is one of the«not so great» McDonalds in the area, then too bad because their chicken wings were yummy. I’m kind of a chicken wing connoiseur so I am now officially a fan. Also, it got busy fast, but I had the chance to ask what looked like the manager if they had McWings(because they were now promoting the McRib, so it covered over their McWing poster), and he said yes, and let me know the quantity and prices. I thought everyone was very pleasant, but it’s not like I was unpleasant, so pretty much this place met all my expectations for a McDonalds! Also, yes very fast food. My wings came out real fast, and they were much larger than I imagined. Yum!

Hello! I work with developmentally disabled adults in the community. We happened upon 505 Flower on one of our outings and enjoyed it’s atmosphere. We’ve been visiting about once a week and everyone is nice. I wanted to single out Ramiro and his staff at McDonalds in particular. They are always helpful, patient and friendly, all of which are appreciated greatly. Thank you!

Yes, it’s kind of lame to do a review on a McDonald’s but I really love this one. It’s within walking distance from my office so I have been here a few times. Compared to other McDonald’s that I have gone to, I like it more than others for a few reasons. 1) Fast service. McDonald’s is fast food, yes, but here I hardly wait that long to place my order, get my food, and leave. At other McDonald’s, I have had to wait so long. Not here. 2) Friendly staff. The cashiers are really nice here. I have never gotten attitude before. I used to come here more often in the mornings for their coffee, which, by the way Zagat, is WAY better than Starbucks, and the cashiers got to know my face after a while and were even more friendly than if I was just a stranger. That’s kind of nice. 3) CHEAP. Yes, it’s a McDonald’s and it’s cheap. That’s awesome. McDonald’s isn’t 4 star food nor dining experience. However, compared to other McDonald’s, it’s a 4 star to me. A word from the wise: You can’t come here on your high horse anticipating a culinary experience beyond others. Seriously, it’s an effing McDonald’s! You get what you pay for. It’s going to be greasy and unhealthy. You might even have your daily caloric intake in one sitting. However, there are some days where you want the greasy and this is a good way of getting that on the cheaps. I’ll continue coming back here for the staff, the coffee, and the greasy burgers and fries.
