Today my experience was awful. I was starving and came here to eat and choose their new spiracha burger. It was tooooo spicy nobody had warned me about that. I feel myself like a dragon, I feel very bad after it. The cashier was in rush and forgot to give some things, another guy from their staff helped me. One good thing is that when you buy one iced latte, the second is free.

Bed place for each customers. Very bad place. Extremely unfriendly. And worst service ever

Noticed the low star rating of this place as I pulled up. Paid it no mind. I mean it’s McDonald’s what could be so bad? Well, I should’ve listened to my fellow Unilocalers. The customer service is of DMV quality and they messed up my order and got upset with me! I showed the receipt to clear up confusion. No response, just snatched it and walked away. The frustrated lady comes back with the correct order with no apologies or acknowledgement. Guess that’s what I get for not listening to my Unilocal app. Live n learn.

Never, in a million years, did I think I’d ever do a review of a McDonald’s restaurant, but here I am, LOL! What spurred this first visit to a McDonald’s in years and years? My curiosity got the best of me after seeing ads for the new«Egg White Turkey Sausage Bowl.» First off, I visited the McDonald’s closest to our L.A. digs, on National and Sawtelle on Sunday morning, about 8:30AM. It was already doing a brisk business both inside the restaurant and in the drive-thru. I chose to walk into the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was served. I was also surprised at how up-to-date the restaurant looked, and its cleanliness. Thirdly, I was also impressed by what I perceived to be a cadre of McDonald’s employees who were clean looking, professional, VERY efficient and all business. Kudos to the McDonald’s at this location. They are the best I have ever witnessed: 5 stars. Regarding the«Egg White Turkey Sausage Bowl:» I was a bit hesitant when I first uncapped the plastic lid on the bowl. The top layer of food, which exposed only the spinach and egg, looked very oily and unappetizing.(See my picture). However, after dicing up the contents a bit with the fork and knife accompanying the«bowl,» everything seemed to be less oily than I first thought. The contents, as best I could tell, were egg whites, steamed spinach, diced tomatoes, a thin sausage patty and shaved parmesan. My assessment: It was OK. Not great, but not bad: 3 stars. I then decided to cap off my breakfast with another McDonald’s item I was aware of, not from ads, but from a friend who stops often at McDonald’s to get it: The Yogurt Parfait cup. For a buck twenty-nine($ 1.29), this wasn’t too bad. Good quality vanilla yogurt and fresh strawberries. It is served with a small, sealed package of granola bits. For what it is and the cost, I have to give it: 3.5 stars. Lastly, the coffee. Strong. Hot. Aromatic. Not bad! 3.5 stars. I will definitely not hesitate to try«the bowl» or the yogurt parfait, again, at this McDonald’s or any other, for that matter, in the future.

So disappointed with this MacDonald’s. Terrible service, cold burger and the fries were limp. Will not be eating here again!

Despite the terrible Unilocal reviews of this place we needed to make a stop somewhere and missed the exit for another terribly reviewed McDonald’s. My first impression of this place was confusion at their horribly designed drive-thru and parking lot. The drive-thru is literally across from McDonald’s. The drive-thru circles around the parking lot and it’s unsafe that you have to walk across the drive through to get into McDonald’s. The guy who took our order wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. He just seemed confused for no reason. Food was average for McDonald’s. I like the newer digital menus, but I swear theirs moved too fast. It’s annoying when you’re trying to figure out what to order.

Just by coming here to write a review, I can already see why this McDonalds has a poor rating. All I wanted to do was pay for the a customers meal without him knowing. They wouldn’t take my card to do it, nor would they allow me to be discrete about it. I tired talking to the manager ‘Patty’ about it, and she blew me off and said there was nothing she would do about it. Sucks to see there is no compassion in humanity these days.

I’ve been to this location many times since I live nearby. Food is okay, not really great or really bad. But sometimes the customer service would be terrible! One time, as I was placing my order for a combo meal, the cashier was very rude! One of his fellow employees would ask him something while I was in the middle of ordering, taking his attention away from me. After they’re done talking, he turned back to me, asking me to repeat my order. As I was repeating it, another employee interrupted him, once again taking his attention away from me. So, he had to ask me to repeat my order again. And guess what? It happened a third time with yet another employee! So, I had to repeat my order a fourth time, but he wasn’t paying attention. I did say combo meal, which he apparently didn’t hear. So, he asked if I only wanted the sandwich, or if I wanted the meal. HELLO! Pay attention! First, it was very inconsiderate that he made me repeat my order 4 times! And second, he was not paying attention to my order! Food was okay, but customer service needs serious improvement! Please be more considerate to your customers!

It was ok… burger was kinda dry… customer sevice was ok too… tgey lady was nice taking my order… but once I got my order and asked for sauce and water that seemed to be a probably, one of the ladies reached down and picked up some packets of the wrong sauce and just throw it in my bag… I had to repeat myself again and say Honey Mustard… NOT Hot mustard… She rooked her eyes and reached down and gave me the right one, then when I asked for a cup of water she was quick to pick the tinest cup up and slam it down in front of me… idk if I would ever come back to this Mc Donald s… the only reason why I’m not giving it lower stars is because the facility its self is very clean and the 1st lady that took my order was so pleasent!

Food(3⁄5): It’s McDonald’s. So, the food in general is neither really great, or really bad. I am a huge fan of the french fries, but only when they immediately come out of the fryer. As a hack, ask for no salt, and you should get a fresh batch. I LOVE the fried apple pies, and I was(and still am) excited that they brought it back. You also can’t beat the $ 1 sodas and affordable hot caramel mocha lattes. The other items I’ve eaten were on par with the other McDonald’s restaurants. Service(3⁄5): I’ve consistently received good service at this location. So, no complaints here. Atmosphere(3⁄5): This location is conveniently located near the 405 S entrance. Often times, I would grab breakfast here before traveling to LAX. The place is generally clean, and having Wi-Fi plus a TV helps kill time.

The only thing my friends and I come here for are vanilla ice cream cones. In the 3 years that I have lived nearby, I’ve been able to extract a vanilla ice cream cone from this establishment twice. Every other time the employees claim they are«out» of ice cream. I was a teen-aged fast food worker too. Believe me, we all played that game. However, this is the impetus for my review of one star.

Worst McDonald I ever been in my life. They gave me the wrong burger but they rejected to change it. Staffs are stupid, rude, working slow, especially in the morning and evening. Finally I got back the refund and leave. Wasted my time!

I occasionally go here because it’s the nearest McDonald’s. Although their food tastes exactly the same as all mickeydee’s, the service is absolutely horrible. I do my best to ignore their customer service but it’s just so horrible!

I really hate leaving a one star review but they really deserve no stars. This place is ridiculously and disgustingly dirty. The bathroom is seriously not even usable it was so dirty. Service is beyond slow and they got almost every order wrong in the 10 min that I was there. I will not be back.

Now before you read this thinking it’s another 1 star hater McDonalds review… seriously please read. I love McDonalds ever since I was a kid. Yes, very unhealthy but there is always one around if I have a crave for a Big Mac or a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese… Now this McDonalds has to have the most incompetent poor excuse for workers I have ever seen. Every time I go here there is always something wrong with my order. For example: I will order a Grilled Chicken & Ranch wrap with ranch on the side. The waiter puts the Ranch creamer on the side at the window and it’s on my receipt… BUT when I get my bag(thinking they can’t screw this up) I look in the bag and guess what? No ranch. I also ordered McNuggets with the Sweet and Sour sauce. Guess what? No friggin sauce. The cashiers all the way down to the drive thru guy(oh yeah, the drive thru setup sucks too… cars always lined up on Sawtelle with honks and all) are rude and could care less about the customers. This one guy who yells into the speaker and this one black girl that gives you the wrong bag and then gets mad at you for looking at it! WHAT? This is the worst part that ticked me off so much to write this review. I found small two hairs(I’ll leave that to your imagination) in one of my chicken wraps. To the management — shape up your staff… or replace them. The people that work there are the reason why most people complain about the minimum wage going up. Obviously they don’t deserve it. 1⁄5(I rarely rate Fast Food joints because it’s more of the same but this one had me fuming over several months that I had to say something –_-)

It’s a typical McDonald’s right next to a KFC so what’s not to like? The only slightly confusing thing is the entrance of the drive-through. As you continue through the drive-through you actually go through the parking lot and there is oncoming traffic through the parking lot as cars are trying to leave or enter as well. And then as you’re driving along you go to the window so it’s not one continuous stretch of an interrupted driving lane. My food was good. Would come here again. It was my first time here.

My unofficial junk food crawl shamelessly continues… but first, a run! It has been several weeks since I last jogged on a regular basis, so when I went for one the other day, I was pretty beat after running several blocks. At first, I thought of making a quick stop at Primo’s Donuts( ), but when I got to the door, I found the shop already closed. Greatly disappointed, I re-set my sights on familiar yellow arches across the street. I admit, I was hungry. Figuring I may as well replace some of the calories I just burned off, I reluctantly crossed twice to get to McDonald’s. Not wanting to go down in shame alone, I called my gf, who said«NO!,» and then my S.O., who said«OK» and quickly homed in on my location. Together, we went for the new«Bacon Habanero Ranch» and«Deluxe Quarter Pounder» respectively. What’s «new,» exactly? McDonald’s food scientists seem to have given their classic ¼-pound hamburgers an almost complete makeover(see for more info). From a springier bun to a thicker beef patty, it really seemed like we were eating different burgers — and they weren’t all that bad! Ask me to pick the new quarter pounder out of a line-up, and I’m not entirely certain I’d be able to identify it as a McDonald’s burger. Location-wise, this particular 24-hour McD’s sports an updated look. It also appeared to have suffered plenty of patron abuse during its latest meal rush. While floors were free of litter, most of the open tables could have used a serious cleaning. After wiping the tables down with extra napkins ourselves, we consciously avoided making surface contact during our quick fill-up meal. Gradually, the pile of food before us dwindled down. As I handed the rest of my burger over to S.O. to finish for me, I laughed inwardly and thought to myself, I might as well not have run at all! But, if I decline a ride home and jog back the long way after, maybe the calorie count will break even. Indisputably, with this meal, I have added yet another fast food notch on my Unilocal belt this week! What is wrong with me lately? Unbridled gluttony, I guess, and I’m kinda lovin’ it.

It’s kinda sad that I was even here. Not once, but twice. Ugh. I only go to the golden arches during a race. And only then because they’re freakin’ everywhere and always near a start line. It’s a conspiracy and it works when you’re starving at 4AM waiting for the gun to go off. It’s not my first choice for anything. However, it just happened to be. I got what I usually get — just the fries and apple pie. I actually do kinda like those. They have some decent fries here and the apple pie isn’t all that bad. You can’t get me to eat a burger though. No way. This particular location is poorly laid out. The drive thru is at the end of the parking lot and then you drive up to the window, pay, and find out they actually ran out of something but couldn’t bother to tell you while you were ordering so then you have to rethink what you want or drive out of the line. So freakin’ crazy. Never coming here again. Ever.
