I have been seeing Dr. Masih for a back injury which occurred in December of 2012, and his treatment has been very helpful. In addition to providing effective treatment, he also is kind and concerned. His staff is efficient and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Masih.

I’ve been in Los Angeles for about 7 years, and ever since then I’ve been seeing Dr. Masih for lower back pain. I had been dealing with lower back pain for probably 10 years before that, and no one had been able to provide much help. But Dr. Masih provided procedures and physical therapy assignments that really have helped, and I’m about 80% pain free, which is HUGE! Thanks, Dr. Masih.

On the advice of my doctor, I went to see Dr. Masih about a month ago. He is fantastic! I never write reviews, but this guy is the best. I had excruciating pain in my lower back, called his office, and was told to come right over. The receptionist was efficient and empathetic, answering busy phones while helping me with the new-patient forms. I waited about 5 minutes before being taken to the exam room by a wonderful and attentive nurse. Dr. Masih came in after just a couple of minutes. He asked intelligent, relevant diagnostic questions and gently completed a thorough exam before recommending my treatment, which included a shot, heat patch and prescriptions. I started to feel better that evening, and was pain-free in 3 days! The last time I had this problem, I went to the emergency room, waited hours, got several shots, and it took 2 weeks to get better. Dr. Masih is a Godsend! Most impressive was that Dr. Masih called me twice to see how I was feeling. My back goes out once or twice a year, and needless to say I am thankful to have found Dr. Masih and would never go anywhere else!

Boo for Dr. Masih! In particular for his administrative staff. Been suffering from sciatica for a month and half and finally got the MRI results to show that I need an epidural. My doctor referred me to several pain specialists, including Masih. Called to schedule with Dr. Masih, and his people tell me I need to come in for an evaluation in the morning before I can make another appointment to get the shot later that same afternoon. As if what my primary care physician and MRI results aren’t evaluation enough! Anyway, the pain is horrible so I went along with this nonsense, and was told I had an evaluation at 8:30am and an epidural scheduled for 2:30pm. Well, less than 24 hours before I thought I would finally be getting some pain relief, I find out that no appointment for an epidural has been scheduled for me and no other times are available. Seems Dr. Masih’s intake guy dropped the ball. When I asked him for an explanation he mumbled something unintelligible and failed to come up with a solution. I now have to deal with another seven days of excruciating back pain before I can get an appointment with another physician because of these nitwits. Thanks Dr. Masih!

I do not recommend this Doctor! I saw Dr. Masih for over 7 months after I sustained spine injuries car accident. He diagnosed it as muscle strain and tried every rx in the book(nothing worked, & I still had inflammation) &6 mos of PT which only worsened my problems. Not only did he misdiagnose the problem. I was the one who had to insist on my Lumber & Cervical MRIs(My acupuncturist is the one who figured out that it was a lumbar disc issue and told me to get an MRI immediately), once I received the MRI7 months into treatment(2 cortisone injections to the incorrect area, 6 mos of PT later), he called with the results and had ZERO plan for next steps. It was appalling. it would be one thing if I were a new patient that he just started treating but after many months of treatment, he should have had an idea of next steps. I asked him and he didn’t have an answer on the phone. I have since undergone 2 surgeries to my lumbar spine by Dr. Robert Bray as I had one isolated bad degenerated disc that was causing much of my issues. I also had two bulging discs in my C-Spine. I never went back. I would not trust him with any serious issues. He failed me in a huge way. Not only did he cost me thousand of dollars spent on incorrect treatments, I could have had the correct treatment 12 months earlier than I did if he was more thorough in his exam and study of my pain, PT assessments and listening to his patient(Me).
