LOTS OF HELLO KITTY, but not much else. There’s a Sanrio really close to here with much better selection. If you want Sanrio characters other than Hello Kitty, look elsewhere.

This place isn’t super cheap but it doesn’t try to rip you off either. I’m giving this place five stars because it has squishies. Yes, this place sells squishies. There aren’t many left though. The store is pretty medium sized and has all the kawaii stuff all the other places but their prices are slightly lower and they have discounts. I was very happy with my purchase!

Cute store! It really lives up to its name. I also like that they sell NYX cosmetics here– I can never find them elsewhere and ordering online is such a pain!

Love all the cuteness. Also, love the selection of super cheap and fun nail polish. Decently priced, considering where it’s located and what they sell. Some products are less expensive than the Sanrio store around the corner. Definitely worth checking out when looking for your Hello Kitty or Domo fix.

Super cute stationary cutsy store in a plaza in Jtown. Plaza with Curry house and Kushi Shabu. Glitter eye liner! Sleep on wet hair curl sponges, hello kitty everything, and such.

Super adorable store. A lot of stuff I want that I don’t need. I walked away with 2 stuffed animals for gifts and a chocolate snack for me. The price is a little bit cheaper than Japanese Lifestyle.

Situated on the Ground Floor of Weller Court in Little Toyko, Los Angeles, sits the epitome of Kawaii! Aisles of Kawaii, Little Kitty, Sanrio and all that your little heart can dream of!
If you are into this! This is pure heaven!
Parking aplenty in the underground parking, with validation. However, there is metered parking on the streets outside, be sure to read the signs and PAY the meters! THEY DOOOO CHECK! Because, during the week, the underground garage here gets packed quick, esp. during lunchtime! A quick tip, On Sundays, the meters are free on the streets, just outside, but, check just in case, L.A. wants MORE $$ and charges on Sundays too!
Plenty of Restaurants and the Mother Marukai, just across the court at ground level.
This stuff is not cheap! IT’s Sanrio! ^_​^ But, the pricing is better than those «other» shops that sell this stuff!

pretty cool store. I bought some Hello Kitty stuff as a gift. I didn’t think it was THAT SPECIAL though. it’s getting a lot of stars but there are plenty other stores that sell the same Japanese stuff with the same or better selection.

When I saw this store I literally squealed with joy! It isn’t a huge store, but it is filled with tons of Hello Kitty stuff, and other cute items. Well organized too! I don’t know how much better I would consider it than say Sanrio, but still I love it! :D Should I be in Little Tokyo again I will pay a visit! Also no Marukai Card required.

So many cute things! Little Tokyo was the highlight of my trip to LA solely because of all the cute toys!

Very similar to Tokyo Outlet in Japanese Village Plaza. They carry a bunch of neat things, such as small rugs, magnets, fashion jewelry, school supplies, stuffed animals, etc, etc, and of course… Hello Kitty and some other Sanrio merchandise. There isn’t as much Sanrio stuff as a Sanrio store, but they do carry cute notebooks and other things!

Murakai has always had a great selection of Hello Kitty at reasonable prices. Their selection just got better as shown in their new Hello Kitty store in the same plaza (Weller Court). Yup, a whole store. I was lucky enough to walk past as they were placing the finishing touches on the store for this weekend’s grand opening and the gentleman let me take a look see.
They have the new items and great selection. Most of the items looked reasonably priced compared to the store in Japanese Plaza. I can’t say whether or not they are identical items though.
The store is adjacent to the coffee shop.
