The Aguachilles were really good. Their customer service was great, treated us kindly and made sure to make us feel comfortable.

Definitely a «meh» restaurant. My friend and I arrived here and the only three tables that were not next to two gigantic TVs were dirty, one with dishes still on it. We had to pick the less dirty one and wait for the only waitress to clean it. I won’t go into too many details but service was understandably slow(one server only), prices were too high for the amount and quality of food, and I ended up having to send my Campechana back because it only had shrimp, not too mention there were no limones(only a wedge of orange) and no crackers, just chips. I will not go back, mainly because the drive just isn’t worth it. That might no be saying much but let me put it this way, I’ve driven all the way from LA to Tijuana just to go eat tacos, so driving is not an issue when the food is worth it.

Knocking down 2 stars for my last 2 visits… I still love the chilaquiles. The last two times the waitresses were very rude and uncommodating. Recently turned vegan, so every time I come I ask for no cheese, sour cream, or rice. Just the chilaquiles and beans, which shouldn’t be that hard right? I’m not one of those customers to give the waiter/waitress a hard time. I know that I’m at a seafood restaurant and my options are very limited, but being a customer that comes here at least twice a month I would expect them to be a little nicer to my requests. I don’t know if I’m sounding annoying or don’t know. The last two times the waitresses were very rude, and messed up my order. On one occasion they even added extra cheese. The only reason I continued to keep coming here is because my family likes it… I will take my business somewhere else. I really like supporting the local businesses in my neighborhood but they obviously don’t want my business. On the last occasion I had to stand almost 10 minutes in front of the register for a waitress to finally give me my to go order. Which was already done, and the cook kept reminding here she needed to ring me up.

Extremely authentic Mexican Mariscos! Ordered the Molcajete and oysters! Also enjoyed a nice cold michelada. Not too busy but employees did forget about us and had us waiting for the bill for at least 30 minutes :/

It was good. Can’t complain one bit. I had the shrimp wrap with bacon. Omg it was bomb. Now they are making the place bigger. Excited to see how it will turn out.

Stopped in here because I was Craving a good campechana and they were very close to my work. The place looked ok. Looked small from the outside and not much bigger inside. The waitress was pretty and pleasant. The price for the large cocktail was around the going rate. Between 10 — 15 $. When the waitress brought me the order it was in a medium sized cup. Not that big but I thought maybe they pack the seafood in there. Oh they packed it, but full of tomatoes. There was hardly any seafood in there. An oyster on top, some octopus and no shrimp at all. Zero. I’ve never eaten a campechana without shrimp. After maybe 5 spoon fills all of the meat was gone. Just spoonful after spoonful of tomato after that. $ 13.07 for a poor tasting wannabe cocktail. Pathetic. I guess they care more about the atmosphere of the place than food.

I love great atmosphere and all the trappings, but the most important thing is the food and Marisco Marias delivers! Get the marisco molcajete, it’s enough to share with your sweetie and so so yum! I’ll be back!

Ok so stopped by this place months ago… I need to go back! Now not everyone will feel comfortable with the set up here but its perfectly fine with me because the food is amazing. So first when you walk in you see a tiny maybe 4×5 feet area that you think where am I going to eat? Well, the seating area is in a back«yard» with a tarp over head and tables and chairs. In other words its an open eating area almost. The food though is amazing. We ordered the fish tostada, some langostinos, and a shrimp dish that I don’t remember the name. Either way, the bottom line is the food is that good here. Comes out fresh and very well prepared. The staff is also very helpful here, they get busy, no surprisingly, but over all its a really good seafood place. Ive been to other restaurants with a better set up but the food isn’t as good. I will trade the set up over the food tasting anytime.

Okay, let’s get this straight: the more lemony the seafood is the better. This applies to ceviche, cocktails, and especially micheladas. It’s a warm sunny day, and this place is great for outdoor seating and a chilled Michelada. I think the place is a hole on the wall mariscos place. But I’m saying it as a compliment. Whenever I come, whatever I order everything is delicious! I had the fish tostada de ceviche and the shrimp version. They are never stingy with the portions served. I think this is the best place closest to the Westside.

If your not in a hurry and want good food, this place is for you… service took a little longer than expected considering the amount of patrons inside(maybe six tables full out of the eight inside). They have limited seating inside and outside so be patient if u want food :)

Came here for lunch on Sunday, and was less than impressed with the experience. The food was okay, and the service was not very good. I ordered the shrimp burrito and split a shrimp ceviche tostada. The burrito was super dry and bland. There are much better options in the area for getting a good burrito for about the same price. The ceviche was heavy on the lime juice, and made me pucker like a fish. I get bitter chills just thinking about the sour taste. We were the only people in the restaurant, and still got bad service. The waitress was talking to the cook the whole time and it was nearly impossible to get her attention. It always reflects poorly on an establishment to me whenever I have to stand up multiple times to flag service down. «Why eat out if they don’t want to serve you?» is my feeling. There’s no reason for me to eat here again since there are other places in LA like Maria’s that have better food and service. I’m totally perplexed by the 4-star rating.

This place is a freaken gem. Nothing fancy. Total hole-in-the-wall with cheesy decorations and I love every part of it. We always get the ceviche. I wouldn’t really bother with anything else — their niche is ceviche all the way. The ceviche is always fresh and delicious with so much lime! It is super affordable and the portions are large. Service is always fast and super friendly. Love this place!

The service was really bad. Even the restaurant was pretty messy with fries and chips all over the place. I have to say, the carne asada tacos were exceptional, but my chicken enchilada was disgusting. I’m never going back.
