Order from a food truck. Food is so so… the restrooms are disgusting! Omg! You are better off holding it til you get somewhere else.

Love their food. My man came across it and we’ve visited this place a few times out of the year. We usually always get it to go. We get the shrimp and octopus a la Diabla and its delicious, the best. The salsa is so bomb like nothing else I’ve had.

Horrible, service sucks and the food is shit ordered, 2 aguachiles and 2 coctel de camaron that turn out to be $ 45. They also took almost an hour for the order to be ready and 3 – 4 customers complained and left because they took so long. The food was only a little bit too not even worth the 10 bucks plate looked like a 5 dollar meal but obviously had to force myself to eat it since it was pretty expensive.

Went to this place since its hours stated they close at 7pm. I got there at 5:50pm and they were closing the gate. I asked the guy that was closing the gate at what time they close and he said 5pm. Please change your hours of operation or allow customers to come and enjoy your food. You just lost a heck of a customer as I live nearby and always eat mariscos. Won’t be back.

I stopped by Mariscos los Koritas after reading several positive reviews on Unilocal about the quality of their seafood. I was not impressed. I ordered the aguachiles and pulpita a la diabla. Aguachiles are raw, head on shrimp served with a spicy lime juice marinade and sliced onion and cucumber. The shrimp tasted fresh, but the texture was a little on the mushy side. All in all, not bad, but not that great either. The pulpo was a major disappointment for me. Although I loved the chili oil they came coated in, the poor things had been cooked to death and I could barely chew them. The texture was like what you might get if you dried octopus and then fried it. I asked the cocinero if it was her intention to cook the pulpo to that degree and she said indeed it was. I love octopus when it is done right and acknowledge that it can be difficult to cook. But, I have never heard of someone trying to make it tough.

Mmmmm both the pescado and camarones are amazing. No difference between the plate and tostada order other than quantity.

been coming here regularly the past 3 years and its my FAVORITEMEXICANSEAFOODPLACE. marisco + beer = one happy camper LOGISTICS –You can’t see the restaurant name from the street, look for metal bar gate right next to the Tire shop — the restaurant is really a «taco truck» that is permanently stationed in a lot w/a covered seating area that holds a TV, jukebox, and paraphenalia from the state of Nayarit — hard to park on weekends,(people will double park) consider parking on the street but be careful, Imperial HWY is busy — cash only: order first, sit & eat, then pay AFTER FOOD(top 3… i love them so much its hard to try something new) — A LADIABLA! especially pulpo(octopus) a la diabla. their style of diabla isTHE BEST. i havent been able to get diabla like this at any other place. its the oily type not the thick saucy kind — Camorones al Mojo de Ajo Con Cascara(garlic shrimp WITH the shell on). i literally lick the sauce off the plate with nothing left behind, it is rich and delicious. if you get it peeled, you lose out on flavor — Aguachile. raw shrimp cooked in a lime/chile mixture. SUPER spicy. PERKS — BYOB: you can ask them for red cups(there isnt a liquor store close by so you gotta drive a couple miles before you find a place to buy your beer) — Free chips & salsa verde. — Great service, although you order at the«truck» someone brings you the food & there’s no problem w/getting more chips BEWARE! Super spicy! their salsa verde, aguachile and a la diabla is NOT for the faint of heart. you MIGHT have stomach/bathroom issues the next day. the mariscos are so yummy… call me crazy, but i honestly think its worth it.

One of my friends took me here a few years back and ever since then i kept coming back on my own. It is one of my favorite spots to eat and everyone i have brought here also liked it alot. Yes it does come off as ghetto because its located across the street from the Projects and its in a lot where you wont notice its there unless your lookin for it and you order from a Food Truck lol but dont let that fool you. because the seafood right here has been one of the best ive ever had i was hooked from the first day lol… I like the outdoor seating when the weather is nice and they also have a jukebox and Tv and there is a bathroom on the side. They dont sell alcohol… The service is always good. I love thier chips and homemade salsa which is super spicy and tasty so be careful lol… Overall this place is unique on how they prepare their food it all has good flavor and always fresh… And one thing that stood out to me is that they also dont use the typical tostadas or chips you would find at most places these are homemade tostadas! I usually get tostatdas de camaron and camarones cucarachas my favorite! But everything i have tried is delicious! The portions are big and prices are good plus no taxes on anything… And sometimes Mariachi shows up… Trust me try it out you wont regret it

Okay so when my husband took me here I got flash backs of TJ, don’t get me wrong I love TJ my parents used to take us there at least once a month when I was a kid. This is literary a diamond in the ruff, needle in the Haystack, type of joint. It’s in the hood, so I feel right at home lol. The place looks like an old tire shop warehouse with a small sign over the gate. You order from a lunch truck, sit down, the food is brought to you and you pay once you are done. Once you sit down they bring you a bowl of tasteful salsa and chips, the salsa is very spicy and delicious. They have a Jukebox and some arcade games. Now as for the food, everything is outstanding, the aguachiles are fresh(the shrimp comes with the head, I usually ask for it to be removed), spicy and just right on the tangy, the best plate is the camarones an pulpo a la diabla, buttery, spicy and mouthwatering, they have tilapia a la diabla as well. The tostadas are stacked with ingredients you need a fork to eat them. The quality of the food is higher than any marisco’s restaurant I’ve been too and I’ve tried plenty of them. You can bring your own beer. As for the kids, my kids can’t get enough of their beans and chips! The beans are absolutely divine and only $ 2. They also have beef tacos and fries. The only meal I have ever been disappointed with was a warm cocktel de camaron. I didn’t know what to make of it, usually I get it chilled or hot in a bowl not warm in a glass. Needless to say, I never ordered it again. That experience wasn’t enough to keep me away and I’m here Every Sunday now. You can also order to go… do yourself a favor and don’t miss out! If you are not sure what to order start with the aguachile, I want some right now!!! Love this place!

There are lots of places who serve good ceviche… So, what makes this place better than all the others? The fresh sea food they use in all their plates… From ceviche to aguachiles or camarones a la diabla or al mojo de ajo… They’re good. If you feel like trying something not too common try their fried octopus… They go great with their awesome salsa… They don’t serve alcohol, but they DO have cups… You should all know what’s up… ;)
