Good fish tacos. The cheviche is ok though. I got the fish cechive and it didn’t sell me on it. The fish tacos are huge, worth the price.

These guys always serve the most fresh seafood. The prices are very reasonable. Not only is the food delicious but the portions are very generous. Best mariscos truck I’ve ever encountered. Yum!

This place has the BESTSHRIMPCOCKTAIL I ever had it’s perfect! No need to add anymore flavor since the way they make it hits the spot just right! The jaiba tostadas are awesome! Huge portions all the time, and unlike other places, they are EXTREMELY generous with their fresh avocado, no extra charge at all! The family and I love this place, we never get tired of it hehe! Highly recommend this place

This truck is parked a stone throw away from Las Brisas, whose fish and shrimp tacos are currently the standard by which I judge all other fish and shrimp tacos. Having stopped at the truck for lunch yesterday and sampled 1 camaron taco and 1 pescado taco, I concluded that it’s more or less a tie as far as flavor goes — in other words, *very tasty*. El Rey Del Mar’s tacos are slightly more expensive than those from Las Brisas, but I think they are also slightly larger — and more importantly, the folks on the truck place a *generous* portion of avocado on your tacos(see photos attached to review). Word to the wise: the tacos dispensed from this truck are served with chili that I can only describe as «murderous», so if(like me) you are not accustomed to spicy foods, you would be well-advised to ask them to hold the chili when you place your order. In addition to tacos, the truck also serves various seafood cocktails, ceviche dishes, and beverages. Unfortunately, the beverage options are limited to bottled/canned sodas — unlike Las Brisas, no aguas frescas are available at the truck — boooooo!!! P.S. The listed address of 1904 Bailey St. is technically incorrect, but it’s close enough — the truck will be parked across the street from that address.

Hands down the best fish tacos and seafood I have ever had. This place is great .I live in West Covina and I make the pilgrimage to eat here at least once a week .I work in the field and all I do is eat fast food from Los Angeles Orange or riverside this is my best restaurant for sea food…

!! My co workers and I drive from our jobs in downtown LA to make a food run! Yes its that good! Anything on the menu is tasty and reasonably priced. My favorite is the fish taco, no chile. I pay a little extra for the avocado but they are not stingy with it. they pile it on! These are no small tacos people. one gets me full. The staff is super nice, orders are completed quickly. Cash only and street parking IS a PAIN in the butt… but well worth it

«They make the best seafood cocktail!» …was my bf’s selling point when he mentioned bringing me to a place on «State»(where as I later find out, is the exit off of the 10 freeway). With no expectations, I had thought some small hole-in-the-wall establishment tucked away in a corner — but it was just a food truck by the park. When I saw the menu, it was slightly pricier than most; $ 10 for a large seafood cocktail, and $ 8 for a regular sized one. What’s also nice is that you can take your food to go, sit down by the park and enjoy your food there. That’s what we did — it was a short meal at the park, but it’s a cute thing to do with your significant other, your family or friends! Was it the best seafood cocktail I’ve had? Let’s just say that my cup was empty! It wasn’t watered down at all, so full of flavor. Add in dashes of tapatio, some salt and it was probably the best legit street seafood cocktail I’ve had.

Cocktail has flavor not watered down and plenty of shrimp, not stingy with their portions. Tacos are great as well
