This place is disgusting. I’ve lived around the corner from it for years now. I decided to try it out one day and take some friends there for lunch. By far the lowest quality seafood fried to oblivion, and for some reason it’s always busy.

Hands down one of the best Marisco spots in Los Angeles and top three in East LA. Portions are good size, service is great. The food taste the same every time I go, great. I would’ve given it four stars if they sold beer, parking can sometimes be a bitch but it’s worth it. One fish taco can be turned to three easy. Shrimp crispy tacos are great not full of grease and good portion of shrimp. The salsa and chips they serve you till your food arrives is on point, really full of flavor and fresh made chips. I highly recommend this place to any Marisco lover. Lunch and weekends expect a line but trust me, it’s worth the wait times two.

Love the ceviche!!! I had it first time when my coworkers ordered them for lunch, and been my favorite spot for ceviche and other salsas. They also have a bar of fresh oysters, clams and all other good stuff. Def recommend Parking is pretty small, there are parking on the street but its a small street so kinda hard sometimes. They close pretty early compares to other places so sometimes I gotta rush there after work, but its fine bcuz its totally worth it =)

Friday is normally a dine out kind of day. Well… couldn’t get away from work. So my coworker offers to bring me back a taco… she told me to get more… okay twist my arm. She brought back 2. These tacos were golden deep fried with whole shrimp inside, side of tomato salsa(chopped cabbage, onion, cilantro), hot salsa and a huge avocado on the side. I hear they are super bomb with lemon. I thank my coworker for introducing me to this seafood spot. I told the hubby and now we are planning a visit! I liked better than 4 Vientos, another hot spot!

Love this place. The shrimp taco plate is delicious. But what still amazes me is the fish taco for 5 bucks. That is not a fish taco. It’s a fish order on top of a tortilla. HUGE. I’ve had the cocktails too they are pretty packed with shrimp. And when u order u get complimentary chips with a salsa that has ceviche. This place gets really packed sometimes and there is a line to get seats but totally worth it. And it’s BYOB!

Note: I’ve never eaten here, I have only gotten take out. I usually get Tostada Mixta or Tacos de Pescado or Taco fritz de Camaron. ALLOFTHESEAREDELICIOUS! I have gone to their location is fairly big or being a mom and pop place also I know it does get crowded on the weekends. Food wise I recommend them! They aren’t extremely price but I would pay it anyways. If you’re in the area it’s a good place to stop and grab some Mariscos.

During the hot summer months there is nothing better than fresh, abundant portions of ceviche and seafood cocktails. If you’re in agreement than this is the place for you. The prices are fair and the portions are above standard. If you’re a fan of aguachile I highly recommend this spot. But I will warn you that even if your pallette loves spicy this one still still kicks your butt. The area is in Boyle Heights, East LA. Parking is a little hard to find. The place is at its busiest on the weekends, especially a hot one so be prepared to wait a little. The place is clean but not immaculate. Service can be a little slow at first but once you order it’ll be ready relatively quick. Hot food items like shrimp and fish tacos will take longer and won’t come together with colder dishes so if you’re hungry order a small cold dish to hold you over while you wait for the remaining part of order. Top things to try: Aguachile Fish Ceviche Campechana

This place is a joke! You’re better off going to Marscos Jalisco for better service & better tasting food. They slice their avocados for their to go orders.

The fried shrimp tacos with ensalada is my favorite thing on the menu. It’s a hefty portion, loaded with avocado, that usually puts me in a food coma. The ceviche tostada is also a favorite. Bring cash to avoid the credit/debit card fee. ;)

This place is the real deal in Boyle Heights; I always get the Shrimp and Octopus Cocktail. It’s a little heavy on the ketchup but add a ton of lime juice and their habanero hot sauce they make there and you are in heaven. I’ve had the ceviche shrimp tostada which is real good and the crispy shrimp tacos with all the fixings, sour cream, salsa and veggies where real good as well. The Botana is good as well only had it once. Bring cash they charge $ 2.00 for CC I always call my order in then I have hubby drive around the block and we go home and eat.

Huge fish tacos! It is challenging to finish one! The flavors are all there, great batter, cream with veggies– it is a lot to handle but fun to try! I really do enjoy the tacos de camaron with ensalada– crispy shrimp tacos with all the fixings, sour cream, salsa and veggies-a Mexican Coke compliments everything here! The place is no frills but worth the stop here!

I’ve been eating here for years. I love this place! I love to get their fish tacos, shrimp tacos, ceviche and the botana. They give you extra limes and of course salt to add to your food, if you want. The portions are humongous and the prices are very reasonable. For 17 dollars, you can get a huge botana! Also, for your shrimp tacos or ceviche, they give you a whole avocado with each order. Seriously, who does that? When you order, you also get the usual chips and salsa, tostadas and saltine crackers for the botana or ceviche. I recommend this place. Food, portion size, price and service are all great! Only downside is that they don’t have a dedicated lot for themselves and you must find street parking. Park a little further so you can walk… At least you’ll burn off some calories.

This place is the real deal holyfield in Boyle Heights gangster East LA, not far off of the 5 fwy and 4th st. I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The only thing you have to worry about here is your car getting stolen, other than that its a really nice and historic neighborhood. I always get the Cameron and Pulp Cocktail. Its a little heavy on the ketchup but add a ton of lime juice and their habanero hot sauce they make there and you are in heaven. Break off a piece of the tostada shells there on the table and hit it hard like a local. Alot of the vatos loco like the saltine crackers too. I once had lunch with my friend from mexico and he literally ate 40 of those little saltines along with his cocktail, wow! I like the tostada shells because processed, white flour crackers don’t go well with my girlish figure. I’ve had the ceviche cameron tostada which is bomb and the $ 2 pescado tostada which is just OK. The good thing is they LOAD everything here with avocado which makes everything regardless. If you’re driving down the 5 and its still light outside, get off of the 4th st exit in Boyle Heights and enjoy. P.S The service is very good but brng cash, they charge you $ 2 for a credit card transacton.
